  1. Then I'm ok with the Pegula's plan if true. It's foolish IMO to bottom out, "tank" or hit the reset button. Whatever you wanna call it?!? The team was 7-9 and is not THAT bad. Fix the D, get another receiver in here....the offense can very good. Draft another QB and develop Cardale but there's no reason this team has to start over on offense. With some tweaks they can make the playoffs in 2017. They aren't the Bears, Browns and 49ers....at least Pegula gets that.
  2. Interesting...didn't Whaley object to the Rex hire initially but then went along with it? Thus leading to Pegula letting Whaley lead the search this time. Makes sense since in the Pegs interview he made it sound like he was happy with the offensive production but very disappointed in the D (hence Rex and Rob gone).
  3. Maybe Tyrod could give Matt Moore a lesson in ball security. Just brutal by Moore. Zero pocket awareness and that pick he was just schooled by the LB dropping back
  4. I wanna buy a Lincoln now
  5. As much as I hate Landry, he was a great pick by Miami. He's like an Andre Reed type of WR. Always seems open in the slot, always catches everything, can get open deep occasionally, fairly durable even though he just got dinged.
  6. Seemed like Moore actually saw the guy coming, and still didn't protect the ball. Shoulda thrown it away or turtled
  7. I'd like to see that. I never root for Pittsburgh but would like to see them beat Miami by 40.
  8. The staff indicated TT could have played the Jets game and would have if it mattered towards a playoff berth. Surgery is cleaning up a lingering issue that would not have shelved Tyrod for week 17.
  9. AL gets his first crack at head coach and they took away his QB and saddled him with a guy who is extremely limited. The Pegula's have done the right thing in expressing remorse to AL. They basically stuck him with an embarrassing loss on his resume. That being said, They can finally cut the cord on EJ thanks to that performance and they get a better draft position. It's past history, move on. I'd be perfectly fine with an Lynn/ Gus Bradley coaching ticket and retaining Tyrod as QB in 2017. No reason they can't still draft a QB and develop Cardale simultaneously
  10. Don't worry TT fans... Bills made a point of saying he is in the team highlights video Buffalo Bills ‏@buffalobills 6m6 minutes ago Tyrod: When's the season highlight video drop? Shady: Just did today Tyrod: Am I in it? Shady: Is water wet? WATCH: http://bufbills.co/y9GOLh
  11. The Texans would take Tyrod today and start him over any of their 3 QB's this weekend. The Raiders too for that matter...but he obviously would not supplant Carr in the grand scheme.
  12. I'm really getting tired of John Murphy. I'd like a team broadcaster who is Great. Anyway, there's no reason the Bills can't become great while remaining "good" in the short term. Sometimes all it takes to go from 8-8 to 10-6 are a couple of lucky turnovers or kick returns...(or in the Chiefs case, a 2-pt conversion returned the other way).
  13. Is it at all possible that the "leak" about the Bills moving on from TT and the posturing from the Bills, is all a ploy to somehow benefit the situation down the road? I mean on the surface, it makes zero sense to "move on" from a productive QB in his prime.
  14. It's likely the defense next year would contribute more points or at least set up the offense in great field position from more turnovers. I feel like after the road Miami game (and Aaron Williams' goodbye)...the D really went on a long dry spell helping out the O.
  15. Agree with this. You're throwing out some nice stats today.
  16. This whole thread is just making me root for the Anthony Lynn/Gus Bradley ticket even more. Get them to sign on the dotted line ASAP. If not them the only other coach ticket I'd be excited about would include Kyle Shanahan....and he ain't coming here.
  17. I read a lot of out of town NFL chatter along with national talk. It's obvious that Tyrod is viewed in higher regard in other NFL cities...not Tom Brady/Aaron Rodgers comparisons...but Top-15 type QB. I know that's hard to believe for some Bills fans. Bottom line, if TT is not starting in Buffalo, he will be starting for another team come September 2017.
  18. People's frustrations over the 17 year drought are affecting their sensibilities. Even Jimbo Kelly's. Dumping Tyrod is a big mistake imo unless they have a young and better QB coming in that we don't know about. I'm not interested in a loser like Cutler or Tony "one hit from retirement" Romo. I'm not willing to hit the reset button. I know the Pegulas specialize in tearing it down but I haven't seen them rebuild a team yet. The 2016 Bills are not a bad team. Keep the offense intact, get another stud WR if you can and fix the D.
  19. But, But...Jim Kelly says Tyrod is not the guy. Doesn't Jim know everything??
  20. Funny, the talk in DC this morning is if the Skins are stupid enough to get rid of Cousins, they should run out immediately and Get Tyrod.
  21. Agreed. Instead of losing games like 33-25 along with winning a few in the 30's...... we can get used to losing 31-13.
  22. If #2 happens I will be pissed but will still be a loyal season ticket holder. If #2 and #4 both happen, I will be very put off and will no longer be a season ticket holder. I can't stand Cutler. Don't want him anywhere near this organization.
  23. I disagree. He's been politically correct about the active QB's (not really praising). but this is the first time I can recall him dissing a Bills QB that's on the active roster, starting. I wonder if there's anything personal, like Tyrod not giving Jimbo the time of day.
  24. But he was out-coached by Todd Bowles! Just kidding..I said going in that AL could not be judged in that game simply because EJ was anointed the starter. Still, it was concerning that the guys didn't really show up...McCoy and Watkins both got injured under his watch. I was looking for some sign that AL would lead us to the promised land someday, then Gillislee topped off a bad day all around with the most brain-dead play I've ever witnessed from an NFL player.
  25. I doubt it. Too big a personality and Rex indicated in the past he wasn't interested in going back to being a coordinator. We shall see but i doubt it. Gruden would be better served to hire a D-coach with a system that doesn't get run all over by the likes of Jay Ajayi and Leveon Bell in critical games.
