Allen could play as well as Lamar. He’s not quite there yet but they have similar strengths/ weaknesses
-
The Bills offense Dominated yesterday as much as the D. I was really impressed against a solid Denver D. The score should have been much more lopsided based on the stats and field position. The penalties really screwed them up. Gotta clean up that part. But overall i think the O looks much better than a few weeks ago.

Shaq is a loose cannon. I’m sure he is the biggest trash talker of them all out there. But hey, I don’t mind his swag and bravado this year. The D probably needs someone like him right now and he’s playing with a chip on his shoulder. Will that act stand up 2-3 years from now? Probably not. But for now I’m ok with it as long as he doesn’t get 15-yard unsportsmanlike penalties

Predict the Bills record in the last three tough games

I think we will lose a game we’re expected to win (Jets or Steelers). And we will win a game we’re expected to lose. Final record 10-6. -
With every game, Beane looks better

Lorax will be retiring as well. Bank on that. -
My 5 favorite things about today's game

I’d say the Josh Allen TD pass to Brown was my fav. Checked off a few boxes there. Pass completion > 30 yards in the air, chunk play, dropped it in the bucket (nice high trajectory so the WR could run under it and couldn’t be picked off). Thank you wind for helping to keep it from being overthrown. Great play -
Let’s us have an ending determined by the men on the field, stupid refs
-
just awful. They call stuff they *think* they see. You can’t make the call unless it’s 100% obvious. I’m so sick of Refs arbitrary calls that determine the winner.

Between games vs Pittsburgh, Arizona and BALTIMORE, the Browns could lose 2 of those

Can the Detractors Now Admit Allen's Growth?
zow2 replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Allen is a great dude and perfect for this football team. Just need to see him take it to the next level. Last weeks game was awesome, but it comes with the asterisk *its Miami*. Today vs Denver is the perfect matchup to see if he can be the man. He’s underwhelmed me in games at New Era Field. Too many 3 and outs. Too many throws on 3rd and 5 where he gives the receivers zero chance to make a play. Just take the easy passes today when they’re there. Value possessions and moving the chains. Be the man today. That’s what I wanna see. -
If the Bills D takes care of no-name Brandon Allen we should be OK. There’s no way this guy should be coming in to Orchard Park, with the noise and a supposedly great defense, and carve them up.

That's a hot take. Hope so. UB seems to be very solid in the trenches on both sides of the ball which is huge in the MAC. All depends I suppose on who is graduating, transferring (portal), etc.. I'm one of the few people that likes Leipold and thinks he's done an overall good job at UB. The few meltdowns and beat downs suck. But it happens to everyone. he didn't run off some of the productive offensive players from last season...and he didn't cause our punter to break his leg leading to crappy punting the rest of the season. For every bad UB moment, .. gotta remember we've beaten Toledo 2 years in a row, beaten temple 2 years in a row....EMU and CMU,, also 2 years in a row. He's gotten some really big W's.

Brandt: "People are crazy to tell Josh Allen not to run"
zow2 replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The key word is "scrambling". Josh is awesome at ducking out of the pocket and taking off. It's a huge weapon. He needs to continue to scramble when the opportunity is there and when he can't find a free receiver. The designed runs are not as effective IMO except down by the goal line. I've heard the call for Kyler Murray to scramble more too. He's much more effective when he does that. The teams that don't have a QB that can run, WANT a QB that can run a bit. -
Having a reason to rehab and staying motivated to get back in the league might keep his mental state very healthy. But yeah, he's never going to play again whether doctors clear him or not. He can't walk properly and may never be able to.. let alone run, plant, take a hit, etc..

It's almost impossible that he will ever play again. He may not even want to anymore. 17 surgeries so far. He's a tough guy for dealing with this injury.
