  1. The penalties are completely unacceptable
  2. i didn’t see the replay. It better have been a legit holding because it cost us dearly. We all know what happens in the NFL when you settle for FGs
  3. Ugh. A long time consuming Denver drive against the wind will not be good. Or a long pass
  4. Another really windy day. Sheesh! Can’t get a break this year on Sunday’s. But it should be Buffalos weather
  5. Allen is a great dude and perfect for this football team. Just need to see him take it to the next level. Last weeks game was awesome, but it comes with the asterisk *its Miami*. Today vs Denver is the perfect matchup to see if he can be the man. He’s underwhelmed me in games at New Era Field. Too many 3 and outs. Too many throws on 3rd and 5 where he gives the receivers zero chance to make a play. Just take the easy passes today when they’re there. Value possessions and moving the chains. Be the man today. That’s what I wanna see.
  6. If the Bills D takes care of no-name Brandon Allen we should be OK. There’s no way this guy should be coming in to Orchard Park, with the noise and a supposedly great defense, and carve them up.
  7. People don’t wanna bash the Boys. But the Bills easy schedule talk is warranted. It’s OK though. We never have an easy one. Even when the team stinks year after year the Bills have Top 10 hard schedules. So for once it broke our way. Two tough games in the next 5 days. It gets real now.
  8. That's a hot take. Hope so. UB seems to be very solid in the trenches on both sides of the ball which is huge in the MAC. All depends I suppose on who is graduating, transferring (portal), etc.. I'm one of the few people that likes Leipold and thinks he's done an overall good job at UB. The few meltdowns and beat downs suck. But it happens to everyone. he didn't run off some of the productive offensive players from last season...and he didn't cause our punter to break his leg leading to crappy punting the rest of the season. For every bad UB moment, .. gotta remember we've beaten Toledo 2 years in a row, beaten temple 2 years in a row....EMU and CMU,, also 2 years in a row. He's gotten some really big W's.
  9. It's always a popular mid-week topic to bring up in many NFL cities.. "would you rather have xxxxx, or the good young QB your team passed on?"
  10. The key word is "scrambling". Josh is awesome at ducking out of the pocket and taking off. It's a huge weapon. He needs to continue to scramble when the opportunity is there and when he can't find a free receiver. The designed runs are not as effective IMO except down by the goal line. I've heard the call for Kyler Murray to scramble more too. He's much more effective when he does that. The teams that don't have a QB that can run, WANT a QB that can run a bit.
  11. Having a reason to rehab and staying motivated to get back in the league might keep his mental state very healthy. But yeah, he's never going to play again whether doctors clear him or not. He can't walk properly and may never be able to.. let alone run, plant, take a hit, etc..
  12. It's almost impossible that he will ever play again. He may not even want to anymore. 17 surgeries so far. He's a tough guy for dealing with this injury.
  13. ? this is me because I started Mahomes in fantasy instead of Josh Allen this week.
  14. On some of those plays yesterday when Allen had ample time and basically threw non catchable passes it was painfully obvious that our receivers had no separation.
  15. He should demand something. The guy deserves to be on a playoff team, not stashed on ice in hockey Siberia. The Sabres are taking much too long to get "good" again. It shouldn't take this long. They are decent this year but clearly aren't getting much secondary scoring lately and i don't care what the stats say... the goal-tending is not good enough yet. These guys need to be stealing a game now and then.
  16. By the way, the Monday after the Bills/Redskins game i was listening to a DC radio interview with one of the Redskins ex-players who covers the team now. I forget who it was, but he was so complimentary of Lorenzo and went on to say this is Zo's final season. I guess he knows Lorax pretty well from his Washington days. He was very matter of fact that Zo can't wait to move back to Arizona full time, get out of the cold weather...and raise his kids. So if that's the case we should really enjoy the remainder of 2019 with Lorenzo Alexander. He's a helluva player.
  17. The Denver game has concerned me for weeks. I never understood why people were chalking this up as one of the "easy" games. Minnesota is a very solid club and Denver just went in there and put up nearly 400 yards of balanced offense. Denver has a pretty good D as well. I'll take a late field goal and get out of this game alive.
  18. Denver will be a handful. It won’t be shocking to see them beat the Bills. It shouldn’t happen, but there Have been much bigger upsets around the league. As a matter of face the Jets with Darnold back look decent. No gimme there either. I still think the Bills will need to win a game they’re not expected to win in order to grab a playoff spot.
  19. I didn’t read the thread. But it’s obvious that PI won’t be called or overturned during the regular season. This review will be used exclusively to prevent playoff game(s) from being affected by an egregious non-call or blatant blown call. So maybe we will see this type of call reversed in the playoffs. Makes no sense to not enforce it during the regular season but someone high up has made that decision.
  20. Eagles fans are so pissed today. Lots of complaints about Wentzs accuracy on short/intermediate throws
  21. Wentz my gosh! He’s seeing ghosts all over the place!
  22. The recipe across the NFL for a W is solid rushing numbers, NO turnovers and a solid passing game 220+ yds. Enough to keep the chains moving. The 300 yarders through the air often don’t win, they’re playing catch up. But it’s nice to have the ability in your back pocket. I think that’s why so many people harp on it. They Just want to see Josh show the ability to do it. But today isn’t the day to give a crap about that. Josh played very well and nobody should complain. personally when I look at stats for Lamar Jackson, Allen and a few others I count the rushing yardage as part of their overall package. Allen accounted for over 300 yards of offense today. That’s a day!
  23. Easy to blame special team coach for long KO returns but shouldn’t the guys on the field be the main culprits? I mean cmon they know what they have to do. I’ll blame the coach for not having the correct preparation for the onsides
  24. Cmon man. That throw never gave him a chance to high point it. And our receivers in general rarely get separation. It’s just a bad mix.
  25. I thought last week it was kind of soon seeing him play after recent ankle surgery. You could tell it was fragile. It has nothing to do with his hip but I figured he wouldn’t play today. I’m sure Tua wanted to though. Feel bad for the guy.
