The 4th and 1 that LA converted that was reversed? I've never seen one of those challenges work. It wasn't obvious at all. No idea how Pete Carrol won that challenge.

Rams have gotten the short end of two pretty big replay challenges. Seattle gets help at home.

Rex's "This is Fine" press conference today - a doozy

And Bucky filed his column after today's spar session with Rex. http://buffalonews.com/2016/12/14/bucky-gleason-bills-make-ryan-decision-official/ -
Next HC: Guy with a Head Cocahing Overall record 119–25

Ha. i was just thinking about that. Someone ask UB how great it is hiring a guy with a fantastic record from a lower level. That's worked out so well. -
CBS: Rex could be fired, TT benched Monday with loss

I was pissed they let Schwartz walk and he brought in all these ex-Jets coaches... but after further review when they hired Rex, they hired HIS defense/scheme. You couldn't expect Rex to keep Schwartz who runs a totally different defense. -

I think the guy pestering Rex the most (with baseball cap in 2nd row), is Bucky Gleason. Sounds like him anyway. -

I've always felt that the Buffalo media goes out of their way to incite controversy and act like idiots because Buffalo is always dismissed by National media as being a "soft" town for media scrutiny. In the age of Twitter, the Buffalo media has gotten especially snarky and full of themselves. -

Listened to Peter King yesterday on his weekly segment on Sirius. When asked about Rex he seemed frustrated. Said franchises like Buffalo don't ever learn that if you follow history you are doomed to repeat it. Said every time an AFC East team fires their coach after 2 years that Bob Kraft high fives everyone around his organization. Because he knows the Pats will continue to dominate while the other clubs constantly change and try to rebuild. King did admit that if the Bills lose 2 of the final 3 games or all of them then he'd expect Rex to get fired. I get that Peter King is advocating for continuity and some "tweaks" instead of wholesale changes,, but you can't argue that in must win situations in their last 5 games the Bills are 2-3 and lost to the three good teams they played. The club still cannot beat winning teams in crunch time. -
Be honest...who wants to lose to the Browns?

I have no respect for any Bills "fan" that wants the team to lose and/or certain players to get hurt. That's ridiculous. -

If i step over something on the stairs, and continue to walk upstairs without taking whatever it is, she flips out as if I purposely step over it. Like I'm supposed to know that anytime something is placed on the stairs it is there for me to take up?!? We have 3 kids and there is always crap lying around. -
The fan boards in Cleveland like Taylor alot. They assume Griffin will be done in Cle after this season and Tyrod would be a nice bridge to whoever their future QB will be.. It will be interesting to see these two guys play on Sunday. If RG3 totally outplays Tyrod I wonder if their tune will change?

The only thing I'll say positive about EJ is that he does show some mental toughness- as in forgetting about his bad plays and not letting them affect his ability to come back. He's just not good enough IMO to be the starter here. Yes- from what I've seen with my own eyes, Tyrod is a better NFL QB than EJ. I'm down with keeping his option and playing it out until we find someone better. If Cardale or some draft pick outperforms him in training camp and preseason then so be it. It will be an expensive gamble i guess. If Tyrod hits UFA, then Cleveland and some other teams will swoop him up in a heartbeat. He's not the awful QB that Jeremy White and some others crusade about.

bills are bad, so are its fans smashing tables
zow2 replied to VaMilBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I've been waiting the whole season for one of these losers to suffer an injury caught on tape. I kinda figured we'd see something even worse happen. Like a person flopping on a table and the metal table leg remaining straight and impaling the person as the rest of the table crumples.... You never know. People are idiots and something that seems like "fun" could kill them. -
Pick your next GM HC, and biggest offseason acquisition

I've been hoping they check out Kyle Shanahan as well. He was instrumental in helping RG3 become a rookie sensation....and his stints in Cleveland and Atlanta were successful. He has good coaching lineage and appears to be a pretty good leader and obviously intelligent. I can see the Bills fan base getting on board with the young Shanahan as next head coach. -
Week 15: Browns' Game Preparation - Inactives Announced

Who is Cleveland starting at QB this week? I don't see RG3 faring well in the cold/precip. Come to think of it, this Bills club looked pretty weak playing in the elements. If Cleveland starts any other QB than Griffin, I can see this being a game.. -
I can't give my two tickets away. Nice Lower level seats and I cannot GIVE them away....no one wants em.

We Should Pick Up the Option on Tyrod No Matter What
zow2 replied to a topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't believe in tanking in the NFL. Too hard to rebuild. The Bills can still draft a QB or two in 2017. I don't have a problem with that. Heck, bring in Chad Kelly. Then we can have a QB who throws risky passes down the middle of the field all day. Bills fans will love it... -
We Should Pick Up the Option on Tyrod No Matter What
zow2 replied to a topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
People really need to be careful about running Tyrod out of town. I would not do it until we have someone here who is BETTER than Tyrod. Is Cardale a better NFL QB? I'd say no, not yet. Get rid of EJ in the offseason and let Cardale see what he can do in the summer 2017 to make it a competition. -

zow2 replied to NoSaint's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I look forward to seeing Cardale sometime, maybe not next week though. EJ? Gimme a break. Tyrod hasn't been great by any means but just settle in for losses like 30-10 for the final few weeks, if they decide to bench Taylor. -

I just wanna blow them out or get blown out. Not in the mood for drama and or heartache today. -
"Playing a full 60 minutes".... that line always gets me. It's not like Alabama playing Rutgers. This is the NFL. Rarely will one team dominate the other for a full 60-minutes. It's how the team handles the flow of the game when things aren't going so great. The Oakland game they just melted down and the Raiders dictated everything the last 1.5 Quarters. which led to 3 and outs and easy TD drives... Don't be so fragile when things go bad because there will be a point in every game where the momentum changes.
-
It's funny that with each passing day, Tyrod becomes worse and worse in the minds of media and some fans. Instead of leading an offense that's averaging 25 pts a game, he's like a bad version of RG3. People are really short sighted. I get wanting to see Cardale but that's going to be in preseason 2017. That would mean benching TT and skipping over the backup, EJ. Not gonna happen. It's football, you play your best until the end of the season. Players on the team expect that,.

Taylor showing frustration to Buffalo media
zow2 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree with Tyrod's stance. Sometimes it feels like there's a crusade from WGR and Buff News to have certain players jettisoned out of here. Yes, Tyrod can do better but does anyone watch other NFL games? You see low scores and poor QB output every week. The Bills average at least 25 pts per game. That's a great average and there's hardly been any help from defense and special teams like you see in KC and Denver. Could Tyrod do better? absolutely. So could about 28 other starting QB's. Let's get someone at QB next year and see the average pts per game plummet to about 17-20 and see how everyone feels about that. Unless he just craps the bed these last 4 weeks I;m on board with resigning TT. I'm also on board with drafting a QB every year to see if we can find a diamond in the rough, also prepping Cardale to see if he can upgrade the position someday.
