This game has been flushed for me since the Monday after. I watched the game and didn't feel like we were the better team. It was very close, but i just never felt the Bills were better..., the 4th down call bothered me immensely but we can't change it. Funny though, I keep hearing about 13 seconds in various Super Bowl week talk about the Bills. That still bothers me more than this game. Will there ever me a more epic playoff botch than McDermott and Co. in that moment, not squibbing it? 50 years from now they will still be talking about it. The only other single decision I can think of is when Seattle failed to pound in the TD from the one yard line with Lynch in the Super Bowl... and the Pats made the goal line INT.

I'm going to closely watch in the SB to see how often the refs mark the ball back half yard or a full yard from where it appears the ball *should* be. Understanding that the ball is marked where the players knee or elbow touches the ground.

I’ll take the bone if they throw it. lol. We do know of at least a couple voters (Peter King among them), that said they differentiate MVP from First Team All Pro. We don’t know how many others behind the scenes feel that way but it probably needs to be at least 6.

Time to revisit this thread. We did not get the Super Bowl we yearned for but the MVP is still in play and Chris Jones agrees.

Australia seems ok for a one off game... the Mexico and Brazil experiment should end. We just don't need NFL games there. London and Munich seem very popular and NFL fans in Europe can get their fix at either venue. That should be it.

I don't think the NFL is rigged. I don't think the refs are openly cheating. However, I've felt for many years that the refs are subconsciously biased towards the home teams, especially in the playoffs. A lot of Bills fans probably don't keep score on this but there's been some questionable calls and non-calls in Bills playoff home games that have benefited us. I'm not saying it's right or wrong, it just is. Kansas City has hosted a ton of playoff games, so I do think they've had a bunch of "reffing" go their way. Chris Jones lined up in the neutral zone on a few short yardage plays. I'll be interested to see if stuff like that is enforced on a neutral field in the SB.

There was a show yesterday that spent about 5 minutes breaking down the Chiefs final play to Perrine, to ice the game. It was such a masterclass play by Reid, and they showed how all the KC receivers were bunched up and each took a specific route to take out the edge player and all the Bills LB's without touching anybody on a pick or anything. So when Perrine cut across in front of all the traffic, Terrel Bernard was completely stuck in a traffic jam and by the time he got around it, the RB was already on his way for a nice catch and run. It's stuff like that, I feel our coaching is not up to par. We should have had a play like that on 3rd or 4th down. But nope, outcoached on that side of the ball too.

Of course I'm watching...but Chiefs fatigue is real.

I don't disagree at all, that's why I'm pounding the table to get Myles Garrett. But with regards to Allen, and how it still stings, I'm sure he's thinking about what he could have done better.

Hey if Kansas City can get to the AFCCG how many years in a row now?? we've seen it's possible. There's no reason Buffalo can't get there a few more times and finally kick the door down.

I’m sure he feels like crap. Two seasons in a row, the offense has the ball in their hands at the end to tie or lead, and gets nothing. Two end of game drives vs KC for all the marbles, Zero points. You aren’t going to the SB with that.

Zero chance I'd ever give up 2 first round picks in that scenario for Crosby.

this is the time of year at night i catch up on Netflix and a bunch of other shows i’ve put on the back burner. During the season I watch a ton of games not just Bills.

That’s good news/. and how about the plane crash down here for perspective. My friends know 3 local people on that flight, one being an up and coming teen figure skater. The daughter, who was at college when it happened no longer has parents or a brother. Talk about making a game seem irrelevant.

The Bills squeezed every last drop of good fortune out of our “takeaways” defense and the “tush push” offense. Eventually you run into the very best teams and you need actual defensive stops in big moments and real creative play calls to get that end of game TD we yearn for. I don’t feel it was even automatic that KC should have taken a 32-29 lead. We all applaud and say good job guys, you only gave up a field goal. from their own 32 yard line with 6:11 remaining in the game, tied 29 it only took the Chiefs 7 plays to get to our 17 yard line. Why couldn’t we stop them and force a punt.

13 seconds would’ve wiped out the KC “mastery” over us and probably would have wiped out any irrational Bengals fear as we would’ve beaten them. Buffalo beats KC in the regular season and acts like they won the Super Bowl. Meanwhile KC just pockets that little revenge motivation and pays us back in the playoffs.

Well, now we know why he was shanking so many. frustrated and anxiety ridden from knowing this would eventually hit the fan.

Interesting how he did not use his name. Beane said we did not see the same "player". If you read between the lines he's distancing himself and he's pissed.

I've always thought Josh is super special because he runs around and creates plays on the fly...whether by running or passing. But i've always said he's not a great stand in the pocket like a statue and scan the field... He's gotten better at it but he's not elite level accurate from the pocket in my opinion and I've also been shredded for this take.

There was one national show yesterday linking 0-4 in Super Bowls and 0-4 vs Kansas City in this Josh Allen era. So they said the Bills are essentially 0 for 8 in huge games which is a giant kick in the nuts for Bills fans. Man that does hurt to hear it presented that way.

The copter pilots are looking right at the departing plane, speculation is that's who they think ATC is talking about. the doomed plane is coming very low from their left. It's dark, over water, city lights and airport lights in the background, impossible for the jet to see the helicopter. This is the situation they've been worried about around Reagan National for years. Just a lot of helicopter traffic around the east side of the Potomac river...all day and all night. Experts are saying Runway 33 landings are incompatible with the helicopter traffic and should have been decommissioned years ago.

I have a big bottle of zinc gummies from Sam's Club. As soon as i get the feeling of a cold coming on i pop 2 every morning until it subsides. That and alot of soup.

I thought the Kincaid reaching on 3rd down was an obvious first down as well. Obviously the ref marked the ball where he thought his knee was down but Kincaid made a great play to keep his knees elevated. So the ball should have been marked where his elbow touched first and the ball was right on the yard line. First down. Unfortunately Buffalo rushed to the line, never took their time to have another look. Prob just assumed Allen would get it on the next play and we know what happened. Ugh.
