Adam Schein is a voter. He said on his Sirius show this morning it's Allen and it's not close in his opinion. He's not impressed much with the Bills weapons outside of Cook and he's not overly impressed with the Bills D. But he said Allen is everything and 13-3 is amazing for this club. And if the Bills win the Super Bowl it will be ALL Josh Allen. So that's 4 guys this morning that have said they'd vote for Josh (and 2 are voters).

On Get Up this morning, Greeny, Rex and Orlovsky all said if they voted today it would be Allen. They made a good case for him as others have said MVP is not all about stats. No one had the Bills at 13-3 with the guys they have (vs the guys they lost). They all mentioned Henry having a huge season has made it easier for Jackson. And while Lamar and Burrow are elite they are playing right through the end of every game while Allen is sitting a bunch of 4th quarters. They will out-stat Allen based on that. ESPN put up a Next Gen Stats graphic of Avg. Target Separation, and Tight window Completions-Attempts. Lamar has 4.31 avg yards separation 15 for 46 Allen has 3.65 avg, 27 for 81 Burrow has 3.22 avg, 27 for 96 Allen and Burrow are in the bottom 10 of avg yards of separation. I would say Burrow is having an outstanding season but they have 8 losses and he does have Chase and Tee Higgins. They are elite.

Regarding Saquon, Shefter said this morning that the priority yesterday running him 31 times was to get 2,000. That was their goal but by everything he has heard, the Eagles will rest all their important starters this week vs Giants.
-
Yep, and not to mention they don't want to lose 4 in a row. Tomlin will see to that.
-
That's funny. That sign represents the spouses feelings of Sabres players who are traded.

They stick the Ravens on the National TV late afternoon Saturday game. So the world can watch Lamar’s brilliance vs 3-13 Cleveland. while Allen sits.
-
I think the Bucs would be more of a threat in the playoffs with Baker.
-
Feb. 8th, i believe
-
He has a better record, a better seed, and the most impressive thing is going 2-0 vs KC and Detroit and 12 games 30+ points. Meanwhile Lamar’s Ravens were the projected team to win AFC North again, added a HOF RB who has nearly 1,800 yards and they lost to KC and Philly.
-
Hopefully voters also remember that on January 6, 2024, the Ravens hosted the Steelers in their final regular season game. Lamar sat out the game as Baltimore was locked into the 1 seed. If Josh sits out this week he’s earned the right just as Lamar did a year ago.
-
I’ve been wondering if the voters notice that or if they are given that information before they vote? Do they just trust that the voters watch the games and highlights? i have no idea.
-
There’s no co-MVP, not unless they are changing the parameters of this award and making it all about stats, and knowing they shouldn’t give it to the lower seeded QB
-
I think the voting is Jan. 8 and it’s announced Feb. 8th.

Thanks. Broncos control everything.

Benching Winston, weird move by the Browns. At least he provided offense. Whats Miami’s path to the playoffs?

Will Josh Start vs. Pats* (Josh's start streak)

Unless he is coming in for one play to hand off then no, he should sit. He should not play a series at all. Makes no sense whatsoever. -
Keep in mind, after Lamar beat SF late last season he was the -160 favorite and McCaffrey was next at +325 And in 2023 when Buffalo was scratching and clawing to win their last game at Miami, the Ravens were sitting back, resting Lamar the final game vs Pittsburgh. -350 for Josh to +250 for Lamar is a massive gap. The voters know Allen doesn't need to play at NE. He should sit, and if Lamar puts up 5 TDs so be it.

On BetMGM Allen -350 Lamar +250 Saquon +1800 Burrow +2500

Yep. I said during the week we should hope Rodgers starts,,, and he did. The man does not want to be touched and rushes everything. -

Buffalo Joe out here making solo tackles -
Barkley is going to break the rushing record. I bet he gets some MVP votes. It won't be unanimous like last year 50-1. Barkley has only scored 2 TDs in his last four games, I think that should matter. RB's obviously don't touch the ball nearly as much as QBs.
-
He's going to win it. As Romo stated, if Allen had 2 MVP's and Lamar none, that would be different. But since Lamar has 2 in the bag, they will lean to Allen. And prior to week 18 meaningless games the Bills have two fewer losses and #2 seed. That matters not to mention KC and Detroit.

This is why we're happy to have Rodgers in this game. If Tyrod or anyone else is in there, they run around a bit. Rodgers just cannot move.
