  1. Gonna be interesting to see how Andy Reid plays it today. KC like Buffalo will have enough good players in uniform to make it a game if he wants. He could call certain plays to move the ball and keep Denver off balance or keep it conservative. There's a large faction of Chiefs fans that think Reid wants Denver in and Cincinnati/Burrow out.
  2. I mean they know Cook is getting the ball, maybe throw to the 14th receiver TD
  3. Coleman I don't mind. He could use the work imo. I get why Cook wants to be in there, to get 1,000 and a TD. But seems dicey as guys are falling on his legs all over the place.
  4. They "don't want the franchise QB to get injured in a meaningless game" That's the company line anyway. But it may backfire as Milton is playing to keep an NFL job and he may actually play better.
  5. Running Cook anywhere but inside the Pats 10 seems dumb. That's just me, I don't think anything good comes of it
  6. Did Rasul go inside on purpose? What's he thinking there. Maybe he put that on film for Bo Nix or something to goad him into that play. But that was awful.
  7. Did he bobble the snap? People like to clown on Allen and Hurts for all the tush pushes. it aint as easy as they make it look.
  8. The Bills have better flyovers, even when they use helo's. 😄
  9. I have some friends from way back who are Pats fans. They are all checking in this morning telling me how big of Bills fans they are today. They desperately want to lose, it's pretty funny.
  10. At the end of the SF national tv game last year where Lamar “clinched it” i recall he was something like -180. On Fanduel tonight i saw Allen at -270 and Jackson +200
  11. Checked the KC board. They have Bengals PTSD. They want the Chiefs to lay down like dogs tomorrow and eliminate Cinci. Don’t buy the smack that KC fans are ok with Burrow eliminating the Bills. They’d rather take their chances w Bo Nix getting in…and eliminating Buffalo at Arrowhead if it comes to that. They don’t want to possibly see Burrow in a Divisional round game.
  12. I saw somewhere Allen -245 and Lamar +180 Which is still a much wider gap than what Lamar had over the field last season at the end and he won 49-1
  13. A lot of people don’t seem to grasp this. but the reason Lamar is going to finish second for MVP is not because he’s not great or that his 2024 stats aren’t awesome. He is, and they are. He’s not winning it due to historical precedent. Lamar has 2 MVPs on his mantle. He will not be awarded a 3rd until the voters see some solid playoff success and/or a SB Championship. Its even easier to justify Allen due to better record, “doing more with less”, the two gigantic wins over KC and Detroit and a bunch of splash plays in big televised games + fewer turnovers
  14. Why does it feel like the #2 seed often gets to play the team "no one wants to play"? lol Same with the Eagles vs Packers. I'm kind of surprised to hear Miami's coach say Tua is unlikely to play this weekend. What happened to him? They are next in line if Denver loses...and it's not improbable that Denver could choke. This is a must win for the Dolphins.
  15. The Nick Wright show First Things First has a segment on this afternoon "Can Lamar steal MVP from Allen". Broussard thinks there's a 30% chance he steals it if he puts up big numbers vs Cleveland, even though he admits the Browns are playing no one. It's all bluster. Nick actually defended Allen and said that Lamar's MVP last year has set the table to Josh's MVP this year and he put up side by side stats of Lamar 2023 vs Allen 2024. He thinks a tiny violin should be played for the Ravens fans complaining.
  16. This is a weird game and one the Patriots Execs do not want to win. But you can't make a coach and players, not play hard or lose on purpose. I suspect Maye plays a half at most, then he will be pulled and NE empties their bench. Buffalo's backups take over and win. Bills 19 Pats 17
  17. Acho had a good segment on his show a month or so ago. He was making the case for Allen, and said you can tell the story of the NFL up to this moment, and never mention the name of Josh Allen. He went on to talk about how Josh is the first player in NFL history to do this, or do that, and all his amazing accomplishments. but without a Super Bowl win, or an MVP there's no reason to ever bring up his name after his career ends. Acho said the man deserves the highest honor based on what he's done this season and 50 years from now he deserves to be talked about. So when people say the MVP "doesn't matter", or "who cares". That's nonsense. We all like the man, and can't thank him enough for what he's done for Buffalo and the Bills. Winning this award will change how people view JA17 for the rest of his life and beyond.
  18. I've put some things together over the past couple seasons from articles and interviews about the MVP process....and my conclusion is no one is going out on a limb to vote for a guy that really has no chance to win. Apparently it's a bad look. That automatically eliminates Burrow, Barkley, Darnold and Goff. The person what went rogue and voted Josh for 1st place in 2023 really was a maverick. You may have a couple more loners this season that vote for Lamar, but this race is over. It's going to be Allen in a landslide. We are going to celebrate the greatest individual award an NFL player can win.....and Lamar fans are going to go crazy and wonder how/why Josh won 95% of the first place votes.
  19. Vrabel has always scared me. I hope the Jets go a different direction.
  20. It’s going to be fairly overwhelming in favor of Allen, just like it was for Lamar last season. Reason being is that people aren’t going to place their 1st place vote for who they know is the losing candidate. I’d make a healthy wager that Lamar won’t win a 3rd MVP until he reaches a Super Bowl at minimum,, probably would have to win it.
  21. I finally checked the Ravens board and not any surprise, they have a 154 page "Lamar 4 MVP" thread going with over 1,800 replies. I only scanned a couple pages. They aren't going down quietly. But a few posters do concede Allen is probably going to get it, and Lamar is hurt by having Derrick Henry. But one thing for sure...that board thinks the Bills would get smoked by Cincinnati.. and if they are fortunate to not play them in the Wild Card round, the Ravens are going to annihilate Buffalo in the Divisional round.
  22. Greg Cosell was just on Cowherd breaking down the Rams. Said the Rams have transitioned to a running team. There are some limitations starting to show with Stafford. Oh, except when he plays the Buffalo defense, then it's Super Bowl Stafford who can't miss.
  23. All the morning shows today had segments on the MVP debate. It's all fodder to fill airtime. Some even said it all comes down to this weekend. Meanwhile, Lamar is playing against the Browns, who are holding out some of their good players in hopes of backing in to the #1 overall pick. Cleveland has conceded. Lamar might account for 6 TDs by halftime. Allen is playing a snap, Saquon is sitting out, Burrow has zero shot to win it. Lamar sat week #18 last year and was MVP by a mile. Voters don't care about this weekend. Lamar could eclipse Barkley for OPOY. That's the battle.
  24. I've said something similar about Saquon over the past month. So you're telling me he's MVP of the league if he ended with 2,106 yards....but he's not MVP if he finishes with 2,104 yards? That's just dumb.
  25. Based on circumstances in New Orleans, what an advantage Penn State will have to get basically 2 extra days of preparations for UGA/Notre Dame.
