  1. Mahomes never seems nervous. Seems like the same guy always.
  2. I picked the chiefs, i just think they are so close to the 3-peat i can’t see them walking out of this stadium without it. But man, as we get close to game time i hope Philly can ruin their season.
  3. It seems like Whenever there was a creative special teams play successfully done in Bills games, it was the opponent. The best ST plays i can remember are Bass hitting the GW field goal vs Miami and is that really the doing of a ST coach? and also the onsides kick recovery vs Baltimore… and there may have been one vs Detroit i can’t recall.
  4. It seems like a made for TV debate since James Jones was a big Allen backer most of the season. Even before the season he said if Allen gets the Bills to the playoffs he should be awarded the MVP. And he did James! lol
  5. As much as Nick Wright is annoying. I agree with what he said today,, that things are appropriately aligned now. In other words, Lamar is not 3 MVP's to Zero better than Josh. Lamar is not 3 MVPs to 2 better than Mahomes. When you look at the totality of their regular season accomplishments over the years, it makes sense that Mahomes and Lamar have 2 MVPs and Allen has 1.
  6. That's a good writeup although I don't really think anyone has to justify his/her selection at this point. There were compelling arguments for both QBs. I thought she might point out that had Allen taken an equal number of snaps, the raw stats that everyone sees on paper would be closer. Plus the Bills game plan shut down Allen after week 15, while Lamar played meaningful games for the division right through the end of week 18.
  7. My hope is that this season kicked the door down. It should never be automatic that First team All Pro QB is always the MVP. And that's what some folks on these morning sports shows think...that it should always be that way. Maybe next season Allen or Burrow gets awarded First Team All Pro because they have ridiculous stats... but Jayden Daniels with lesser stats leads the Commanders to 14 wins and wins the MVP. I mean gimme a break, this not hard to understand how one accolade means something different vs another.
  8. They really came after Orlovsky and made the comment a few times "just say what you are really thinking". What was that supposed to mean? I guess i should stop here because each time I mention something about this today my post gets mysteriously deleted without warning.
  9. Would be nice, but the Eagles have that and they are in the SB because their D is solid, they have a sick RB and Oline....not because they can stretch the field with WRs. So while a legit WR is nice, the answer for me is to get a big stout defense and DB's and work in some of what Spags is doing.
  10. Yep. I think NFL media and peripheral award decision makers finally saw the light. This man has some of the most incredible stats in his first 7 years or whatever...that may never be replicated. and he was severely lacking in hardware. He finally cleaned up the turnovers and took a team everyone thought would take a step back to 13 wins and a 2 seed. He deserved this so much.
  11. Oh heck yeah. I'm getting that. I have a wall down in the mancave with some cool Bills stuff.
  12. The players absolutely know if they are getting an award and that way they can make arrangements for family, etc. to attend. I don't blame Lamar for not showing up. Almost all the prominent players who went, won something. Saquon had a recorded speech for OPOY so obviously he knew well in advance. The moment Josh won, the Bills released a 5-minute video highlighting his work at Children's hospital and mentioning the MVP. They all knew.
  13. Haha I think he referred to him as “slick rick”.
  14. Rarified air: Josh Allen MVP Good to always be reminded of some of the great QBs to never accomplish this and how special it is. Roger Staubach Warren Moon Troy Aikman Big Ben Philip Rivers Drew Brees Eli Manning Joe Burrow - still time
  15. Man that was awesome to see him up there. It wasn’t the Super Bowl but it felt like Allen plowed into the end zone for the win. That’s Bills history and that’s cementing his gold jacket someday to the HOF. Made all of Buffalo and the fans proud.
  16. Yeah!!!!!!! Immortalized. Josh!!! Thank god.
  17. McDermott missed out on this. He been around too long now. Finished 7th in the voting which is kind of a joke really.
  18. I think i’ve heard him say in the past he’s kind of nerdy off the field. It would not surprise me if this type of event is likely out of his comfort zone. That’s just my opinion, from hearing different sound bytes from Allen since he was drafted. Maybe Hailee gets him to attend more of these events in and out of sports. She’s probably into it.
  19. Maybe co-MVP? hasn’t happened since 2004, Peyton and Steve McNair. I doubt it, seems the secondary voting almost makes a tie highly improbable, unless there is some collusion involved amongst the voters.
  20. Damn, i saw something online that Lamar is there. Allen is at 98% on Poly
  21. Polymarket Live odds at 6:38pm show Allen at 68% for NFL MVP, Lamar 33.2%. Seems like some people know something....
  22. Late this afternoon Kyle Brandt put it out there on his social media that he still thinks Allen wins MVP.
  23. Maybe all the bettors were duped by the fake Adam Shefter account like i was for a few mins,,, lol. Saying his sources indicate that Allen will win his 1st MVP.
  24. Now back to 51% Allen,,, Yeah baby!
