  1. You see, hear and feel the Bills dominance from their point of view and it's dark. Very very dark for Miami vs the Bills in the Allen/McDermott era.
  2. The mediocre Steelers plays at Kansas City in last years Wild Card. The Steelers actually led 7-0 in the 2nd Qtr after a TJ Watt fumble return TD. But then Kansas City scored 35 straight points spanning mid-2nd Qtr through mid-3rd Qtr. That is how you do it as a big favorite. You bury them on Offense, Defense and Special Teams.
  3. I actually give the Steelers a punchers chance (probably because of my PTSD lingering from the Bengals playoff snow game when i drove up 500 miles last minute with my son only to see that whooping in person). But anyway, I'd think about canning McD even though at this moment is seems irrational and knee jerk.
  4. Allen is pretty good at this. Anthony Richardson is a big guy but didn't he have to miss 2 games after running this play early in the season? The QB takes more of a beating than we know in that scrum. But Josh probably enjoys the contact. Afterall, he classifies himself as a "football player" not a quarterback.
  5. The injuries suck but you have to play through them obviously. I trust McD to get the D prepared no matter who is starting and on O we're good.
  6. The Meathead, Vrabel, is a good head coach. I know it's not fashionable nowadays to hire a new coach with a defensive background, but he's solid. I hope New England hires someone else.
  7. I kept hearing the same thing about Melvin Ingram this past week..
  8. Yeah, that Dolphins fan punched and killed the Pats fan in Gillette Stadium. This killing in Miami is horrific. Just going to a game. ugh.
  9. The weather is gonna suck. But looking at the next 7 days, if you had to pick a day to have the game it looks like Sunday is the best one. Will be cold but not single digits. Based on predicted precip and winds, Sunday at 1pm looks like the best bet for a game. Everything leading up to the game is terrible or very high winds...and Sunday night it's forecasted to be bad again for a few days. This far in advance any slight change in the forecast could be bad news though.
  10. The Bills have a lot of playoff experiences to lean on coming in to this. They have last year's Cincinnati debacle when clearly they were not mentally prepared to play that game at the intensity required, nor was the defense remotely prepared. They have the 13 seconds game of course, but they also have the Patriots perfect game. That's the preparation they should be having coming in to this.
  11. Cowherd is on the Bills too. After the Philly game he jumped back on the Allen/Bills bandwagon. Said yesterday they are the best watch in the NFL today and are steam rolling towards the AFC Championship game. But i think he likes Baltimore to win it all.
  12. I’ll care after 4:30pm Sunday. Need to beat Pittsburgh first. They aren’t coming to Orchard Park to lose.
  13. Pittsburgh has a couple solid WRs so if they have trouble passing in the wind that helps us. It's not like the Steelers totally rely on running. This is one of those playoff games the Bills just need to win and dominate in boring fashion (i.e. Dallas game). This won't be a day for style points. If they can get through Pittsburgh, the Bills could roll. I know as fans we expended so much mental energy thinking about making the playoffs, i can't imagine how the players feel. It would be easy to come into this game, and not be as emotionally fired up as they were in Miami. They have to think about the lessons from Cincinnati last January....and I see McD is even bringing up the preseason game vs Pittsburgh. McD knows he needs to get these guys actually fired up and prepared to play at the level of intensity the Steelers will bring.
  14. Through his first 6 seasons, no NFL players has more records that end with "in history" than Josh Allen.
  15. Over the last 5 games this team has gotten behind early, they’ve lost the turnover battle a few times, things aren’t always clicking yet they just refuse to lose. These are the qualities i admired from the Brady/Belichek teams and Mahomes/Reid. We’re seeing it this season with the Bills. Let’s Gooo. just seize the moment.
  16. All the money he potentially earned after the texas game, he refunded tonight. This is like playing a real NFL defense and he doesn’t measure up at all. I’d be worried about his health in the League. I fear he will get badly injured he looks brittle.
  17. That BS holding call on Washington flipped the whole game late back to Michigan. They owe the Huskies a big makeup call.
  18. Yeah i know what you mean. He probably just needs to refrain from throwing off his back foot while backpedaling blindly to the end zone.. Just stuff like that. Live to fight another down and/or just take the FG's.
  19. Did the Bills actually win a game with 4 turnovers in the redzone (endzone)? That's nuts,. I consider the first half expiring on the 1 yard line basically another turnover. Same result.
  20. I noticed him a couple times when he did the bull rush, instead of edge rushing. He got some push, but didn't come close to threatening Tua. I suppose at this point he's kind of a decoy and makes other teams account for him. But opponents certainly don't need to double Von anymore. Those days are over, at least for now.
  21. Josh needs to calm down a bit to start the Playoffs. It's probably on Brady to help here. Some solid running plays, mixed with some nice underneath stuff to Shakir, Diggs and Kincaid. Don't have to get crazy. Ball security is huge.
  22. dang, the Brandon Beane tree is growing more branches than a dang Spruce.
  23. The thing is, everyone wanted to host the Steelers. KC fans were so mad last night that Miami choked, because the Chiefs fans wanted Pittsburgh too. I’m sure Miami did. I hope it’s not a case of be careful what you wish for!
  24. I dunno, the schedule doesn't look crazy hard to me? I thought this years schedule going in was more worrisome.
  25. The Bills DBs in general are anticipating and going for the INT's much better recently. I was critical early in the season for the DBs sitting back, watching the receiver make the catch and then tackling them. I think it's the Rasul effect. Being much more aggressive and going for the picks. I like it.
