Jets fans do not live in reality.
ndirish1978 replied to Protocal69's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Jets are a powder keg waiting to explode. That team is not managed correctly and they are a blowout this Sunday by the Patriots away from Jamal Adams asking for a trade. They benched their highest paid CB in Johnson and I don't see enough character on that team for them to rebound from multiple poor performances. I'm not proclaiming playoffs for us this year, but we at least have a somewhat balanced team that plays as a unit. -
Hope he plays well enough for a few games before he gets hurt that he throws it into doubt if they tank for Tua. Anything to completely mess them up.

Time for Kaepernick to officially retire from NFL?
ndirish1978 replied to prissythecat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
https://www.xfl.com Hello facts. Playing well there might make a difference. The assertion that it wouldn't is your opinion, which is based on nothing and flies in the face of reality. If AAF players got tryouts and were signed based on their performances there, XFL players will be signed as well. -
Time for Kaepernick to officially retire from NFL?
ndirish1978 replied to prissythecat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Regardless of anyone's personal beliefs - is there any reason to believe that a QB who was seriously declining as a player and hasn't played in the league for 2 years can come back, play and suddenly be good? I don't understand this perception that he is somehow suffering for his beliefs and being held out of the league. He's Tim Tebow, but brings even more media distraction. These guys are marginal players who absolutely could be backups, but the media focuses on them so much that the distraction they bring to the team outweighs the benefit of having them as a sub on the bench. I'm not sure if he's really asking for $20M as was reported in the offseason, but that's ridiculous. If he wants to play, let him sign in the XFL and show he can actually play the position. -
Speaks strongly to his lack of character. His explanation is basically "I wanted to leave, so I left." Shows zero accountability for his actions or respect for his teammates. He did what he felt like doing and feels that is a sufficient explanation for his pathetic behavior - shows no emotional maturity.

Pleasant surprises through two weeks...

Been happy with Tremaine, hoping Milano gets his legs under him, we're too soft with intermediate passes and that's were the Pats live. -
TWO GAMES played this season. No reason to be too high on anyone or too low on anyone. Let's just enjoy the fact we're winning and hope we keep getting better each game, that's all I want.

Feels like Ramsey to bills an option...
ndirish1978 replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We play a LOT of zone. Ramsey is upset that he has to play zone AT ALL. Why would we pick up someone who is absolutely going to hate our system and is fighting to go somewhere where he can just play man? https://www.buffalorumblings.com/2017/1/12/14236950/sean-mcdermott-buffalo-bills-head-coach-4-3-defense-all-22 -
Did you watch the game last night? His passes lacked zip

Big Blue Wary of Bills Mafia? (NY Daily News)

Here come the purple prospects to tell us all that you are free to do whatever you want ... as long as it it what they want. If you don't agree with them, then you're a bad person. How about complaining about the Vikings Skol chant and the fact that the Viking has been co-opted as a symbol of white nationalism. Or you could spend your time trying to get everyone here start calling the Redskins "the Washington team." You are putting too much stock in your feelings. The fanbase has a name, the players embrace it, it's not changing, why waste time complaining about it. -
Read the lawsuit, she passed a polygraph test and his text message confirms the ***** story, which is just weird. Between the polygraph and a former NY ADA in charge of prosecuting sex crime cases recommending she pursue legal action the case isn't completely weak. For those wondering why a criminal action wasn't filed, those are difficult to prove absent immediate reporting and physical evidence.

Josh Allen - week one report card
ndirish1978 replied to rayray808's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm quick to defend Josh, but he did have several "hero ball" throws that we got lucky with. We can't expect to win if he turns the ball over this much. That said, if he can eliminate the dumb judgement calls, he is looking like a franchise QB. -
Every single game against a crappy opponent is a must-win. We can't afford to drop any winnable games

The key sentiment in the OP's post is that, for the first time in forever, I always felt like we could work our way back into the game and win. Remember Tyrod when a 3 point deficit meant we were losing for sure? At the very least we have a shot, that's all anyone can ask for.

Noncommittal answers from the CM and Coach are par for the course here, not sure why people are making them a thing.
