  1. Agree, he's doing much better than expected at catching passes. Guessing it was one of these thing where they never asked him to catch passes so nobody thought he could do it, I'm guessing even the Bills may be a bit surprised by it . Plus great blocker. Will make for an interesting decision as to what to do with Knox at YE as his cap hit next year is high from what I recall reading And yes Kincaid has got better at blocking.
  2. If the Fish lose Thursday, with the 10 day beak before their next game, would be the ideal time for Miami to dump their coach.
  3. I wasn't too concerned as assumed at the time the way he was reacting it was something face related, I thought he got poked in eye or tooth knocked out. In hindsight what Allen did was kind of dumb. He should have taken a knee as that would have sopped the clock and given an orderly amount of time for Trubisky to enter. Instead it become a fire drill and we barely got the next play off before the 25 sec clock expired. I guess Allen didn't want to get blood on the grass!
  4. I don't think anyone really questioned Bosa's abilities. The question is can he stay healthy. So far his play is great though am bit surprised to see him with as high a snap count as he's had which does make me a bit nervous.
  5. He may really be the nicest most down to earth guy around, but agree he has this look sewn on his face that gives you the impression of what you said.
  6. Greg was still but don't think Bosa still was playing on last drive. I saw mostly Solomom and AJ. This isn't college football with a 90 man roster. Someone has to be playing DE.
  7. With a defense this good, this team could likely go far if they could get better play from the QB position
  8. Yes it's 30 to 60 picks lower. But a year experience easily trumps that. There was also much written how playing DE is much tougher to learn than DT as more responsibilities to learn. The Bills also are pretty loaded team so again tougher for rookies to get playing time.
  9. Which DE should be sitting instead of Jackson? The only one you could even argue about would be Solomon, but a 5th round pick with a year experience is very often going to be better than a rookie 3rd round pick. Yes Samuel is getting paid a lot to be inactive, but he's a good insurance policy to have if someone else gets hurt in the WR room.
  10. Wow 2019 for New England, wouldn't have thought it was that long ago. Time flies when you're having fun!
  11. Sure he'd consider it. He doesn't want to alienate any Canadian fans. But let me know when it actually happens. It's a great PR statement to make!
  12. I'd go with Strong to give more time for White to heal up. Jets passing game isn't super strong
  13. But their best physical traits do differ a little. I think over time if both of their legs were to take a beating, Allen could better survive as a pocket passer than Jackson.
  14. True but the inverse to that is most of us if we have a little pain wouldn't worry about it. While here he's getting treatments probably 4 t o5 hours a day, shots, who knows what else?? So you never know.
  15. Yes and also the three rookie lineman by December won't exactly be rookies. I think need to put this game in perspective that they probably just played one of the top 3 teams in the league excluding themselves on both sides of the ball. Lets see how they look the next two weeks before giving up on them. I also think too the Ravens are better in early season that in playoffs as by then both Henry and Jackson are a bit beat up and worn down. Funny too how many things in the media talked about how this game likely means if they meet in the playoffs, the game will be in Buffalo. But yet last year, the Ravens beat the Bills in the regular season, but the playoff game still ended up in Buffalo.
  16. That is kind of true about Jackson. There is no other QB that can do everything that Jackson can do. He does have a certain ability in pure running and throwing that others don't have. Where I'd argue Allen differs is he has a stronger arm and he may not quite have the speed of Jackson, but he is much stronger and can power his way through tackles in ways Jackson can't. So he also has certain skills that no one else has, just not identical to Jackson I'd say they both have a couple of skills better than the other and if I were going to assign value to those skills IMO Allen would end up with a slightly better overall score with the big one Allen being able to make what appears to be impossible throws.
  17. In other news today, the sun did rise as scheduled!
  18. Yeah wonder why that didn't happen?? PS If you're 650.29 miles from Nick Tahou's, then I must be around 750!
  19. True, but probably one of those things where was it now 2nd down or 3rd. Figure can easily gain the 1/2 yard, not worth challenging??? How many times too do they show the replay, the announcers say, ah, this will be over turned, only to hear the ruling on the field stands.
  20. I will say on the spot, when the play first happened and watching it live, my first thought was he started the slide to early and don't think he made the first down. Seeing the replay, yes was a poor spot and he made it. But the refs don't have the benefit of replay. Maybe they should, but then the games would be 4 hours long and we'd be staying up till 1:00 till the end of the game.
  21. How many times do you see a game winning FG attempt with a running clock and time expires as the kick is made. Most of the time teams either end up kicking with maybe 15 seconds left with running clock or the clock is stopped. My point being this was somewhat of a very uncommon situation so easy to say afterwards what they should have done instead. I'm actually surprised the Ravens didn't fake an injury as you do get one extra a 4th TO for injury if a team is out outs. After the one the rules change as to how handled.
  22. Was listening to ex Ryan's comments yesterday. They were discussing if Ravens should have went for it on 4th and 3 at the end. He says Ravens problems are they and he was actually referring to Harbaugh is they play like they still have Ed Reed and Ray Lewis on the team and their defense is going to win the game for them. But these days their offense is their strength and they need to play that way, but they don't.
  23. Recall when Diggs first came to Buffalo, Allen was quoted as saying I told Diggs there are 3 things I want in a WR, catch the ball, get open and can't recall the 3rd, but wasn't anything much. So yes Allen likes the "Get open" type of guy, go wherever you need to get open. Recall reading last spring that Hollins had a reputation of not running his routes exactly and free lanced often. That may be why the Bills didn't sign him. While Allen may like that type of mindset, for the most part coaches don't. Diggs was good enough that the team put up with, but Hollins wasn't.
  24. He's a good insurance policy in case someone gets hurt, and everything I hear/read, very little saving by getting rid of him, either being cut or traded.
