  1. Could be. It could be one of these things, if all the WR s are healthy, then Samuel sits because the #5 WR needs to play ST. But if someone is hurt, then Samuel plays and likely has more snaps than Moore.
  2. But who should they have sat instead? You didn't answer that part. Bosa, Groot, AJ, or Solomon? the punter, the backup center, who? And if you say Solomon why wouldn't you expect a 5th rounder with a year under his belt to be better than a rookie? Is Jackson likely better than the backup center , Green probably he is , but players not dressing are based on numbers by position, not overall.
  3. Any links to the roster with players by position and inactives? Never mind, found it https://x.com/BuffaloBillsPR/status/1964823990566081018/photo/1
  4. Really which DE should they have sat? The only one you could make an argument for would be Solomon. But the only difference between them is Solomon was a 5th round pick with a year experience and think a year experience trumps the difference between a 3rd and 5th round pick. Would it be less disappointing to see a 5th round pick with a year experience not dressed?
  5. Actually it was #23, but yeah that was the guy I was thinking of when I said McConkey
  6. OK I was thinking of a WR maybe taken in low 20's?? Thought that was McConkey??
  7. Yeah but sounds like he's no longer being considered a role player, now he's treated as a regular every down starter. Do agree was near end off 1st round and they were a strong team, but their WR room isn't the best either. Would they have been better trading up a few more spots to get a guy like McConkey and maybe they tried?
  8. Taking a guy like Worthy for gimic like plays isn't a bad idea, but taking him in 1st round, and then using him as an every down player is risky. Could turn out this is the only injury of his career or was just lucky last year. Was funny injury happened right after announcers said KC plans to use him more this year
  9. I am a bit surprised based on the normal responses here that we're up the page 3 and haven't seen anyone take the conversation about a groin pull into the gutter yet. We must be getting more mature around here!!
  10. So that probably would be OK except when you're down 2 points and at the 25 yard line with 3 seconds to go in game. In that case I'd take my chance on FG over scoring TD. If the same happens with 10 minutes left, I'd be more OK with going for it as you likely don't need 25 yards for the first down and even if you do get stopped, you have another 10 minutes to figure something else out, revert to plan B I assume Bass is on the recall list that can be brought back after 4 weeks if ok?
  11. I read they are going to cut Poyer, so they can sign Davis, then move him to unable to perform list, then resign Poyer
  12. A much better title would have been: Isaiah Likely likely to be out for the Bills Ravens game
  13. I remember those days, Pat Summeral and Frank Gifford on CBS and Curdy Gowdy and Al Deragodis (sp) on NBC then Merlon Olson for awhile
  14. OK should have known Jackson, other names, no idea on their background
  15. you sure? I've read they do count towards the cap??
  16. So have Phillips, Poyer, Davis, and who else are the vets?
  17. Agree we didn't lose a starter or even the first backup coming onto the field. A week ago there was speculation whether Carter was going to be cut, so really doubt we need to worry about replacing him. Very likely he wouldn't have even dressed unless someone else got hurt and now that they signed Phillips, he may have taken the injured players spot first. Add to that we have a DT coming back in 6 weeks which many speculated Carter may have got cut then to make room
  18. Are you new around here? LOL I Sander's doesn't have 3 sacks Sunday night, and Hairston and Int (even though he's on IR) somebody here will say they both suck or Hairston is injury prone. It takes very little here for posters to draw a negative opinion on a player. Seems like it's to show how smart they are. Agree, think Kincaid can be much better than Knox long term. Will be interesting to see if he has worked on his blocking some too.
  19. If you look at the year they both had last year, Knox was the better overall TE. But Kincaid certainly has way more potential to be the best, but needs to show it, until then, hard to argue with Andrew Son. Kincaid certainly looked good in pre-season so hopefully by mid October there will be no doubt who is the best and the answer will be Kincaid. Also agree that to say Kincaid sucks says you're pretty much clueless.
  20. Didn't see this posted from BN A league source told The Buffalo News on Sunday that second-year defensive tackle DeWayne Carter tore his Achilles tendon during Wednesday’s practice and will miss the year. The news was first reported by NFL reporter Jordan Schultz.
  21. The one difference is congress votes themselves to take a break, here I'm sure the coaches would have preferred practices,, but nobody asked them.
  22. Don't believe so, as thought I read someplace all teams could not have any practices or activities from about this past Thursday until next Wednesday with the exception of the two teams playing next Thursday night.
  23. Never missed a game due to it. If you're going to base getting rid of players who are too injured to practice one player that's missed more practices than Bass over the years is Josh Allen so we better look for a new QB. Recall when he hurt his elbow or shoulder a couple years back, he hardly practiced for close to a month.
  24. When has he been injured that much? He's never missed a game in five seasons. Now was hurt in pre-season.
  25. OK, but reading this, makes it sound like Allen was actually tied with Jackson for MVP?? Maybe they just left his name off by mistake since wasa tie?? Most Valuable Player notes: Leading vote-getter Lamar Jackson is the only QB with multiple MVP awards not to appear in a Super Bowl. He currently is tied with the reigning MVP, Josh Allen, for the best odds (+550) to take home this year's trophy, while the Ravens are tied with Allen's Bills (+330) as the most likely AFC representative in Super Bowl LX.
