  1. I don't know, can a leopard change it's spots?
  2. Was this announced this morning on the Get Up show??? ....... By Rex himself? LOL I find this to be a contradiction, Rex discipline?? I suppose Rex would enjoy seeing all the feet on South Beach The Dolphins would likely target a disciplinarian type a la Dan Quinn to be their next head coach. Former Buffalo Bills and New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan
  3. tae Where's the stats?? LOL Just Google the coaching careers of the Jet's, Giants, Miami, Throw Buffalo in there for past 25 years, Cleveland, Jax, Indy just to name a few. Bengals should be on the list but Mike Brown was too cheap to ever fire Lewis. These teams would hir a coach, 3 or 4 years later team is no better so fire the next one. These were teams that didn't have good records to start with so the ability to improve is pretty large. In the case of the Bills now, the window to improve is very small based on how they've already done.
  4. How do you know it's so hard? And how's the complexity here compare to other teams, how do you know that? There was an article in the paper maybe the Buffalo News where Landon Jackson was quoted as saying something along the lines of one of the other players told him. You're likely not going to always remember the play or your assignment or even hear the call right, just go with your gut and play fast. A rookie going with his gut can be a problem.
  5. The defense in the first half played very well. I think NE made one half time adjustment. Put Diggs on whichever side White was on!
  6. Fair, But my point in responding to this was to say this whole thread is crazy. The Bills didn't come close to losing yesterday because of Coleman. They lost because a number of things and from everything I've read, if anything more were central to Allen at least on the offensive side.
  7. One of the talking points in the Cook contract was he didn't play enough snaps, less than 50% Seems it's now gone too far the other way at the expense of Davis and Johnson and that may be the problem??
  8. I'd go with CB2 - LB - WR - DL At least too for CB, they have Hairston coming back hopefully soon. I think once he's active I'd start him, likely take some lumps early, but hopefully by January he's figured things out. So may even put LB #1, Is Edmunds available??
  9. So after last nights game, I'd move Milano to IR for one spot and not sure they'll do it, but cut White. That's 2 spots.
  10. He played that way here too for about the first year and a half, maybe 2 years then became a problem.
  11. And Allen gave them 7 so guess that makes him even worse. And Keon also gave them 7 with a TD to, but you left that part out. so gues that makes him +3 for the game. Yes was bad fumble, but as many pointed out the entire game by everyone except Kincaid and their kicker were bad.
  12. they have 9 D line active this week instead of 8 so some other position takes a hit, and it was Hancock.
  13. I think he'll get at least one more year as he's won too much to be fired for one bad year. All the Raven have to look at is Steelers still have Tomlin and he hasn't been fired yet.
  14. McDaniel punting with just over a minute to go seems like a reason to be fired. Yes Miami had all 3 TO's left, but one first down by Carolina and game is over. Plus even if they stopped Miami 3 straight, they'd used the time outs and after Carolina punts, they'd likely be starting from their own 25 yard line with maybe 40 seconds to go.
  15. Definitely agree on the lazy part. Think he had a very good defensive scheme, but like many things in football teams adjust, so in turn Rx adjusted too. But his adjustments got too complex to the point where most players couldn't run it well anymore. Recall how he had to have Jim Leonard back at safety to get everyone on right page.
  16. Agree easily on Ciarlo, and Ingram, Franklin is a bit tougher due to his ST contribution. I think Codington may go first before Franklin. Or if you're going to keep Codington for his return role, then do you need Samuel and could you trade him?
  17. There was an article today in both the Buffalo News and Athletic about the same topic, what are the Bills going to do roster wise when they get the players back both from IR and suspension. They talked about a couple of potential trade candidates or who they may release, but also touched on this discussion could all become irrelevant if anyone gets injured and someone else needs to go to IR. This could be a preemptive move in that regard. In a perfect word Strong would not have got hurt until one of these other's are ready to return, but it's not a perfect word. So this opens up Hairston's spot
  18. One name from a long time ago from a small school was Phil Simms Was watching one of the post game shows today and the commentator was talking about Penn State struggles practically with passing and his exact words were "Penn St has paid a lot for these WR's!" The absurdity of a statement like that is wild, but it's the era we now are in. Waited as long as the could for the sake of the coaches jobs or for the good of the player?
  19. There was an entire article a couple weeks back also in the Athletic about how QB's are mostly all being ruined today by getting them out there way to fast. But the coaches job is on the line so it's done, repeatedly. Recall years back my thought was that seemed like some of the better QB's in NFLK came from small schools as they didn't have 10 All Americans surrounding them. Hmmmmm. Do All Americans still exist or am I dating myself??
  20. So based on 11 carries for the year and 8 of them came in the Jets game, likely in the 4th quarter playing with all other backups, you can figure all this out that he's no good??
  21. In todays Buffalo News article by Jim Kubiak, he blamed the Int on Allen being late on the throw. According to him Allen hesitated and think he understands the game better than most posters here.
  22. If not it may be by Sunday!
  23. The one scary thing here is if both Ravens and Bengals keep losing, they could get some decent draft picks and be even better in 2 years. I've seen that happen a bunch where a good team has injuries ends up drafting in top 10 and can reload on the fly. Fortunately they play each other and Cleveland, plus throw in Jets and Miami so may be tough for either of them to not win 5 or 6 games
  24. The only difference is Sanders has more of a pedigree behind him and money and daddy's friends. So it will take longer before he's kicked to the curb if he's bad.
