  1. yes I've reddit too. A friend told me the new site works even better. Didn't know about the Mafia thing on FB, will have to check it out
  2. Guess I may need to watch it at my friends house who always finds these on line streams that are available. Well can at least use the 1:00 game as a model off where to find it.
  3. Agree but then why does it say NFL-Network on 506 sports? Actually last nights game for example on 506 lists it as Fox/NFL-Network. The link you found that lists a Boston station broadcasting the game would make it appear it will also be on local TV. I'm not in Western NY though so will it be on local TV all over the county I know even Monday night games on ESPN are always available to be broadcast over the air to local flagship station. I don't understand though why the Thursday night games are being shown on two different stations though either Fox and NFLN?? How does that help either with ratings? That always annoyed me as very unfair when I lived in Rochester. So if a game was on ESPN on Monday it would also be on local TV in Buffalo and the home city of whatever team we were playing. Buffalo only though, no other stations like Rochester could show it. But if the Bills didn't sell out, then Rochester, Syracuse, etc were all considered part of the home market and the game was blacked out. Very much NFL having it both ways. Just saw your last post about exclusive on NFLN. The flagship station I mentioned about Monday night games also could explain why Boston station is showing it over the air. Likely also Buffalo station will air it. But anyplace else, you're out of luck! (like me)
  4. Correct the Bills NE game, all the Saturday games are listed as NFL network. Does that mean no over the air broadcast, or just produced by NFL network?
  5. as was stated, much more experience on the Balt. side. Also Greg Roman is the ultimate guy suited to coach Jackson. He did a similar thing in San Fran with Kap But like in San Fran will it be sustainable? Roman is being quoted as a potential hot HC candidate. If someone signs him, they better hope to also draft another Jackson clone for QB. Otherwise he'll look like he did in Buffalo as the OC.
  6. The game against NE, see that is listed as NFL network. Does that mean no over the air broadcast? Or will it be like these Thursday night games which also list as NFL network, but are on Fox? Believe that means produced by NFL network, but Fox is airing them??
  7. JJ may be the most football knowledgeable owner in the league, but he's the least football knowledgeable GM in the league.
  8. I agree with good chance he doesn't last long either due to injury or teams figuring him out. Was a bit surprised that you think he has a weaker arm even than TT?? and I thought that was the biggest knock on TT, a weak arm.
  9. I'll be surprised if they sign Spain as likely will try for a big contract which someone will offer. Think the Bills would rather draft a guy for that position, cheaper and aligns with the "build thru the draft" concept.
  10. Kind of surprised with the Bill's recent success, we haven't heard anything from Hitler as to what he thinks these days. Last I recall he had a meltdown after the TO signing.
  11. Was listening to someone from ESPN talking about him in glowing terms; a players coach, a disciplinarian, great a defense, on and on. Couldn't help but wonder, so then why was he ever fired if all this is true?
  12. If the Bills were to win out or at least 3 out of 4 including this week, I think he'd get it. If they lose to Balt. and Balt. keeps the #1 or #2 seed, likely will go to Harbough in particular with what he's done with Jackson who was the #32 overall pick. And a great defense too. Ditto for Beane.
  13. With as many people who decline, should be easy for him to go, particularly since it's now in Orlando, not exactly the hotbed of the world. Seems the only ones interested are the young guys who haven't gone before. Mahommes, Jackson, & Watson will be picked for certain, however good chance one of them will not be available as playing in the super Bowl (Maybe will happen to Allen too) so the next choices would likely be between Allen and Mayfield. Likely little to no interest from Brady and Rivers to bother going
  14. So then you call in sick! LOL As bad as Kraft is doing, wonder how long they'll still keep the naming rights?
  15. Would surprise me CBS wouldn't be upset as they'd have three late games then without having the doubleheader game as you're moving @ San Diego to a day game i.e. 4:05 I don't really like it with a Saturday afternoon game the following week.
  16. Exactly, then we'd have five on the active roster. Can't see that happening. Based on what I've read here, believe it's too much dead money to cut Star this off-season, need to keep him at least one more season. Agree, Shaq does worry me a bit too in having a great year in a contract year. If they cut Murphy I just worry about bringing in two new DE in the same season though we did bring in 4 new O-lineman and that worked OK. Reading your list of FA, not many DE on there. On Miller, voidable by him or the team?
  17. So if you sign Phillips and Liuget you'd have 5 tackles on the roster, can't see that happening. Oliver will be the starter, can't see paying big $$ for a backup so may be that Liuget is the more economical option particularly since Phillips is having a pretty strong year and be able to get big money. Admittedly the Bills do like rotating players, but still only keeping four. To me the only way it would make sense to sign both would be sign Liuget on a real cheap contract that you can easily trade or cut at the end of pre-season just in case another DT is injured. I think I'd try to sign either Lawson or keep Murphy, don't want to try and find two new DE for next season. Personally I'd use their #1 round pick on DE, sign a mid range FA and then also have either Lawson or Murphy I'll be surprised if they re-sign Spain as I think they'd prefer drafting a rookie in the 2nd or 3rd round for that position. Not sure if I really want to see them sign a FA #1 WR, maybe would rather see them sign a guy like Parker, Anderson, or Cobb. Would also use a 2nd or 3rd round pick on a WR, maybe a guy who is expected to become real good, but might take a year or two to get there. Un the mean time having one of them, plus Brown and Beasley as your starters would be pretty good and likely be a cheaper option. My draft picks would be 1st DE/OLB 2nd and 3rd Guard and WR in whatever order My top FA signings would be strong #2 type WR, OLB/DE, mid tier OT, kicker, big strong RB. With the exception of the OLB/DE others more strong, but not top salary players. PS Thought I heard here Von Miller was also a FA after this year??
  18. I think it's a combination of the first two, small market and losing team. If you're a good team small market is over looked. Sure bad teams are on primetime, but they were expected to be good i.e. Cleveland. Like many fans state, and seems I've heard coaches /players state the same, they'd all prefer playing at 1:00 on Sunday. So if it were leverage, Kraft and Jerry would be screaming for limited primetime games. I think prime time games are established by how many great match ups can we get so based on who did well the year prior and who made moves to expect a big improvement get the first nod. After that it becomes OK we're going to end up with some bad teams playing, so what bad teams are still in a large market., they get the next picks. The other factor is west coast teams get an extra benefit as it 4:30 games fit their local time frame much better. Az has four 4:25 start times, though none are the featured game. However if the Cardiunals had shocked many, would have been very easy to make that game shown in more locations without changing any start times, or swapping out games. Another thing hurting Buffalo to a lesser degree is weather. Really don't think the league wants to show a game where the 10 is around 10 degrees, they want games that would appeal to the visiting team attending too. I'm not counting Thursday night games as primetime, Bengals had one PT game at Pitt on Sunday night. Tampa Bay had none, well unless you could Sunday morning in London. So again bad teams AND small markets get limited to none. Having said all that excluding an 0-4 finish, I do believe the Bills will be on at least one Sunday night and One Monday night game next season, and likely one of them at home. If they end up 1-5 or better and appear to make some moves off season to improve more, wouldn't shock me if it's three games.
  19. My thought was maybe he has some type of minor leg injury so not as much strength, but he's booming the kickoffs. Granted direction not as important, but still able to boom them.
  20. I hear you but, I also think that loss was a wake up call. After that McD made his "play fearless" speech and that seemed to change things overall.
  21. With about 5 minutes left in the game they aired one of those Baker Progressive commercials with him "taking care of the house" I couldn't help but think maybe he should be worrying more about playing football and not the house. Maybe I'm being unfair in my characterization, but that seems to be whom he is. So to answer the original question, No wouldn't trade Allen for Baker
  22. During the game the announcers were also praising McD for the play of the defense. While not to take away anything from him being the overall leader, I do wonder though how much is actually him vs Fraiser? Obviously if your background is on defense, you're going to spend more time on that side of the ball, but how much in game tweaks are on him (or any coach) vrs coordinators. That's not just true of McD but of all coaches in the league too. I do give McD full credit for the challenge wins and deciding when to go or not go for it on 4th down and other things going on outside the game itself. It's almost like the reverse of the old Bill Walsh first 15 players are scripped regardless of what happens WRT down and distance, etc.
  23. There was an article a couple weeks back ranking all the teams QB play with respect to the future and the Bills were in the top 10, think around 8th, ahead of NO, SD, & NE for the exact reason you mention. Better yet how many wives of posters on Two Bills Drive would trade their husbands for JA? Be careful around here!
  24. Whenever Steve Tasker broadcast a Bills game, everyone would always complain about how negative he was towards the Bills. Would be interesting to hear Cowboy fan's take on todays broadcast if they saw Romo as so pro Dallas or will they be complaining about how pro Buffalo he was. Or even when Tasker was being portrayed as negative, did fans of the other team agree? My point being fans or a respective team are not the most un biased on their perception of these types of things.
  25. Thought we were 4-0 pre-season? Who'd we lose to??
