  1. Hope Fitz has a foundation as if this were to happen, the money Bills fans would be sending his way would likely surpass what Dalton got.
  2. Not that Collingsworth is an expert, but he certainly has much more actual experience than most on this board. During the game he commented that on Allen's throws that are high he felt it's due to him not extending his arm upward as he should, that he's releasing the ball around neck high, so then it tends to sail as he makes up for it by throwing "uphill"
  3. It's not like Nsekhe was bound for the pro bowl before getting hurt, I think most here would agree all season long whether it was Nsekhe or Ford at RT, that was our weakest position overall on the line. While overall Nsekhe played better than Ford prior to the injury it still was somewhat shaky. When did Nsekhe get hurt, the Denver game? Everyone was in a panic at that point, myself included. But based on Ford playing the last four games now full time he's done well and I'm not convinced there's be any improvement at this point anymore with Nsekhe as Ford has shown improvement, looked good going up against some top defenses, and the bar set by Nsekhe isn't that high to start with. I used the word looking good. You could certainly argue, shouldn't we want great and the answer is yes, but Nsekhe never provided greatness either. I think either way Spain won't be re-signed as the team would rather pay for a rookie and develop him. The question then becomes can they draft a better guard or RT in around the 2nd or 3rd round, that may determine where they play Ford. If they do draft a RT and move Ford to guard, then likely the rookie and Nsekhe will again split time next season.
  4. I keep waiting to hear what Hitler thinks these days! He's been very quiet last few seasons, think he must have died with RW.
  5. Why would they move him to guard when they already have three strong players inside. I'd expect when Ty comes back barring injury inside, Ford will take the majority of the snaps at RT with Ty spelling him some as the past four weeks has shown he can fill the needs of the position.
  6. They gave up one sack. Last four weeks they've faced some of the best defenses in the league. He's a rookie who not only was splitting time with Nsekhe, but in training camp also was switching positions . My thinking as of late is not sure he won't be the long term answer at RT as opposed to switching to guard as he's more than holding his own. Just happy that the people running the Bills have more patience than most posters here. Seems a day doesn't go by that there isn't a post about either Ford or Knox being a bust or close to it and what are we going to do about TE next season.
  7. I'm wondering if they had Carrie Underwood come into the studio and record a version for this game. Or does she just sing that one verse with something that rhymes with flexed so there are no mention of teams?
  8. True probably disappointments is a better word than mistakes. And likely most who have an option that was declined will still sign with another team just at much less money than they figured they'd be making when they got drafted 4 years prior, i.e. Shaq Lawson. They're really not busts, just not worth the money they could be making or thought they'd make.
  9. Certainly is skill and huge amounts of knowledge involved. But even with all that in the end almost 50% were mistakes. Once the evaluations are complete, if you gave me a list of the top 30 players and asked me if I should pick them or not. I could decide on the flip of a coin and have about he same success rate as they have once it's narrowed down to that point. That tells me the final decision on picking the player or not is not all that scientific .
  10. Article in todays Athletic about projections of teams who will, won't, or may pick up players 5th year options. There projections were of the 32teams, 18 would be picked up, 9 would not and 5 were maybe's. BTW in case you were wondering White was a definite yes. One other yes that might surprise was Tribitsky (sp) What it actually ends up being will see, but likely won't change by a huge amount either up or down What kind of stood out to me was 18 of 32 were a yes, slightly over 50%. So for everyone out there who love to knock the Bills draft picks because they didn't pick the person they wanted or whom else they could have picked regardless of the round chosen, i.e. Zay Jones, overall the success rate for all teams isn't very great. I'm sure for QB's the rate is even lower. So tells me even with all the information available to all teams, it's really more luck than skill WRT who is selected.
  11. Not that it's a big deal but Tyler Krofts grade was missing, and wasn't listed as players under the min snap count to be rated number either. I was looking for him as was curious as to how many snaps he actually took, but wasn't listed anywhere.
  12. Wow they had overtime 39 years ago. I'd have guess that was added more like late 80's or so. I do remember when games ended in ties in regulation.
  13. Assuming the tape is worse than they are claiming, likely punishment will be to forfeit picks as the only reasonable choice of the four. Have a hard time justifying suspending Belichick as may not be able to prove he's the one behind it. I'm sure he was but finding evidence to that may be hard.
  14. Agree with everything except WR in the first round. My thought is DE or LB in round 1. My rational is it's easier to find high level FA WR than it is pass rushers or DE. Sign a good WR and dtil ldraft one in the 2nd or 3rd, but use the 1st round on pass rush.
  15. I wasn't bummed as agree they need a WR, but they still have too many other needs to have given up picks. The problem is they've done better than expected this season, but overall they are still a year away from potentially becoming elite.
  16. Maybe he wanted to go after Harbaurgh for the fake kneel down??
  17. Highly doubt many teams worry about the Bills passing game too much when they know or #2 WR is McKenzie. He should be the #4 or 5 who plays a few plays bringing in some special surprise type plays. Overall would prefer they draft a pass rushing De in the 1st round as they are harder to find in FA. Draft a WR in the 2nd or 3rd, but also sign a good FA WR who starts next year. WR often takes some time to develop, would rather not rely on a rookie for that. Also draft one O lineman, tackle preferred. Don't sign Spain and move Ford inside.
  18. 2017 was a 3 way tie, San Diego, Balt ,and Buffalo so then head to head goes out and don't think we even played Baltimore. Having said that, the likelihood of the last playoff spot coming down to only two teams tied at 9-7 is fairly low IMO. So good chance head to head does go out the window. At 10 wins not as likely to se three teams tied at that record. Likely Indy loses next week, Oak has a good chance of winning out as far as teams they are playing. But they've also lost three straight,. so who knows. Tenn may lose all three or win only one remaining game. Even if Buffalo loses the next two and beats the Jets' they are very likely in. Supposed it's possible to have a 4 way tie between Buffalo, Texans, Tenn, and Pitt, at that point, who knows who's in and out.??
  19. I have to imagine opposing teams aren't too worried about facing our offense when they know our #2 WR is McKenzie, no offense to him, but he should be the #4 or #5, guy who comes in for a few change of pace plays. They need one more top level offensive lineman, likely for RT Knox also has made some pretty amazing plays too, way to soon to give up on him. He's caught more passes this year than he did in college, he's a project that will take some time. But understand patience isn't something people here have. Need instant success or he's a bust.
  20. Either way they needed a TD-PAt and a TD with a 2 pt conversion. If they miss the 2 pt on either TD score, then they'd need another TD and a field goal. Either way they needed the same scores, only thing for debate is the order. Could also argue going for two earlier gives them more time to know what they need to do the remainder of the game as far as 1 or 2 scores. It's also possible that if they miss the two and need two scores with was it 7 minutes left, they'd try an on-sides kick. The odds of on-sides kicks being sucessful is very low, the only ones thta work are when the receiving team isn't expecting it, certainly more likely to happen with 7 minutes to go than say 2 minutes.
  21. OK, but then who is your return man? On punts could use Hyde, but that can be risky if he were to get hurt. Even if you were to dress Williams, he'd be like the #5 WR What they need is a big body #2 WR which Williams isn't, not this year anyway and likely never.
  22. If you're moving Ford (which I'm fine with) why do you then need a guard? I'd think Morse, Ford, Feleciano, and Dawkins is a good 4 to start with. Wouldn't be upset either if they moved Dawkins to the right side either. Moving Ford back and forth as much as they have including during pre-season hasn't helped him or any rookies development for that matter. Agree overall, we're a year away. Need another good legit WR, doesn't have to be a #1 either but a good #2 i.e. Brown clone would do. One lineman, a bruising RB usually they can be found in FA. On defense, one or two DE and OLB plus overall LB depth
  23. That's something that can improve with experience.
  24. Give it up! Williams isn't playing, even if they were to activate, he's not seeing the field. Likely if they didn't dress Roberts it would be someone else other than Williams. Give up the love fest and say good bye as barring a huge off season improvement, not likely he'll be here next year..
  25. They're going to have a lot of work to do for that as feel overall there's too much talent to end up in last to get Lawrence. Need to trade many for picks or something to get that bad that fast.
