  1. Great, we'll go with a center, three guards, and a tackle. That should fool the other teams.
  2. LOL They will in the off season. You're not bringing in some guy week 17 and expect him to contribute. Of all the positions on the field WR is one of the longest learning curves as now matter how good or bad the WR is, he also needs to be on the same page as the QB, so 2 people involved.
  3. Too much tackling with the body instead of wrapping him up.
  4. So are you saying if he was targeted 70 times he'd catch 60? That's why it's not statistically valid, typically the minimum sample size to have any validly is 4, so at 6 it's just over the minimum, not a high degree of confidence its repeatable. By your standards the best receiver on the team may be Lee Smith as from what I recall he was targeted once and caught it and it even went for a TD. I think there's been a pretty clear reason given why he's not given chances, in the coaches view, the ones who see him every day realize he's not as good as the other WR on the team. That seems pretty easy to figure out, but you seem to need a better explanation.
  5. Does that mean when they played the game? Like two weeks ago they lost to KC, but that was only KC's ninth win of season at that point in time. The way the schedule is last few seasons, typically last two weeks yields at least one if not two division opponents. So that would mean Miami, Buffalo and NJ. Not often did any of them have 10 wins in lat 15 years.
  6. Think there's a good chance Texans could clinch their division this weekend with a win by them and a lose by Tenn. If were to beat NE I think that really messes up NE's plans in many ways. First off it means NE has to play hard week 17 to assure they win the game and the division. Second if KC wins Sunday night then NE could lose their bye so not only does NE have to play hard week 17, but they may be playing the following week again So no ability to rest Brady, Edelmann, and company. Where if they beat the Bills, they clinch the division and with a lose by KS Sunday, would clicnh the bye so could rest everyone week 17 and basically have a 3 week break which would help them tremendously. Even with a win by NE over Miami Week 17, us beating NE tomorrow messes up their plans big time.
  7. Recall the story think it was back in the early 70's the Raiders and Steeler's were playing for the AFC championship. Two days before the game on Friday the Raiders finish practice and head to the locker room, last full practice prior to the game. Madden calls them all back out to practice (NFLPA today would fine them heavily for this) and has the team start practicing completely different modifications to the game plan. The theory was Al had his spies at the Steelers practice and they just reported back to him so now that Al knew what their plan was, started practicing to counter act that. And oh bye the way, the Raiders won the game that year.
  8. But you didn't state and option you stated " I don't understand the logic of keeping Duke inactive when he could be improving this receiving corps right now." That sounds like you are stating a fact to me. And yes you are correct too that you don't know what the coaches think, but expecting them to make some type of statement to the fan base is insane. When someone has only caught a total of 6 passes, to state he has caught 90% is not very statistically valid if you actually understand statistics.
  9. Don't let facts get in the way of a good argumment
  10. And you know this how?? Based on what? All the other receivers have more catches than Duke for the season, so your comments are really based on nothing more than an opinion based on little facts compared to the knowledge the Bills coaches have of the situation All you, me, and everyone else here are nothing more than fans short for fanatics. They owe us nothing and would serve no purpose other than to show they listen to the fanatics, LOL Did you actually watch Sundays game? The number of snaps both of them had if I recall were in the 20's and don't recall hearing Smiths name WRT any penalties Granted lately their snap count has been down for both, but was much higher last so find it rather comical that you'd lost this now. The team is 10-4, think the coaches know a little better about the situation than the fanatics here..
  11. I disagree. We are a good story and more and more media is picking it up and rooting for us. Josh Allen is a story with 9 rushing TD's, the tailgating is a story and the weather, along with the hard nosed defense. Teams in NY and LA will get more games than their record deserves, but I do think there's more following for the Bills than maybe around half the teams in the league. We'll find out in about 5 months
  12. Untrue! I never said 4 o'clock or 1 o'clock, I was specifically talking about 4:25 starts. There are west coast games that are televised nationally to the majority of the county that start at 4:25 as part of that networks double header coverage and there are west coast games that start at 4:05 that get televised only to the markets of the teams playing and it's the single game coverage only. Like this weekend Detroit at Denver will only be seen in those two markets and there's no televised early game on that same network either. The Bills play 4 late games next season, likely the one in San Fran and maybe Vegas will be 4:25 starts where as Arizona and Denver may be 4:05 starts. It was stated that teams can only be on national television 6 times I believe so not likely that all four of those will be 4:25 starts as likely a game against NE may either be prime time or also a 4:25 double header as may be the Steelers game and even one of the games against either KC or Seattle. Don't think all of them will be, but enough better games to pick from that the likelihood IMO that all 4 west coast games start at 4:25 is low.
  13. Could be at NE for round II though not as likely.
  14. Two comments I'd make are: Baltimore: Really should state the identical for Jackson as Allen. IMO one season, no matter how great they looked doesn't make someone a star most important with staying power. Cleveland: Not sure how much the issue is Bake or coaching. Next year will likely figure it out, though if Kitchens lasts, still may not know the answer.
  15. Of course they are 4:00 starts, but there's a big difference between a 4:05 that is just viewed in Buffalo and the home team market and is a single game coverage for that network (i.e. this weeks Detroit at Denver game) and a 4:25 start that most of the country sees as the 2nd half of the doubleheader game like the Dallas Philly game. The game at San Fran and Vegas are two that I could seeing being 4:25 starts. I do wonder how the schedule will be done too. Often when teams have multiple west coast or east coast trips, they try to schedule back to back games so the team stays out on the coast for like 10 days straight. Though 10 days in Vegas could ruin any team!!
  16. With all the west coast trips they'll be making next year, can easily see one or two of them being the 4:25 start. Typically there's at least 2 games scheduled in that time slot, so if the Bills were to falter next season, that would become the game only a small viewership sees. The San Fran game would be one strong possibility, maybe Vegas.
  17. Duke Wlliam's was signed as un drafted rookie by the Rams who only won around 4 games that season, but still wasn't able to make the roster. After that no other NFL teams bothered with him. Then after two seasons in the CFL he signs with Buffalo, but don't recall much of a bidding war for his services. After having a per-season that many here must think was the 2nd coming of Julio Jones he's cut and again no one signs him. And after that 6 weeks or so on the practice squad and again not signed by anyone. I realize much of the early career lack of interest was due to off field issues but there are plenty of players with off field issues playing in the NFL, the difference is they have the talent. This love fest for someone who's apparently shows very little every day in practice to coaches and overall to other teams boarders on insanity. It is still possible given an off-season to further develop, he could turn out next season to be a productive player. But barring someone getting hurt, doubt you'll be seeing any of him this year. But even then likely the team will add an experienced WR plus draft one, so guys like him and even those above him on the depth chart like McKenzie and Foster are in trouble to make next seasons roster.
  18. True, but I think they still had more talent, and certainly were set at the QB position which is typically the toughest spot to fill.
  19. Lynn inherited a roster that had more talent than Buffalo had so that helped his record initially. I also don't think if Lynn was hired here he would have torn things down as much as as someone else stated, we'd have a middle of the road team for awhile. Maybe he would have allowed TT to play more wide open ala Jackson?
  20. LOL so you activated two guys, but didn't see who you're taking off the field. Ford being benched isn't happening, nor does it warrant happening. Ford is more than holding his own against some top defensive teams. Who's to say Ty would have even done any better the past few weeks. Can activate Williams, but doubt they throw him the ball as they barely involve the #4 or #5 WR now.
  21. Think the big thing hurting us particularly early on is so many games we just squeaked by against weak teams, Miami the 1st time, Washington, Cinci, Giants while teams like NE were beating them by 20 points. And the other thing that hurt us early on were all the turnovers by Allen. Also think the ranking work alot like college football rankings. Teams get hardly any upward movement for improvements, its more a case of teams ranked higher faltering and dropping which indirectly moves you up. And just as we started to get respect, we get blown out by Philly.
  22. But they've all won 11 games and Minn, KC and NE 10 and have looked better winning the Bills have. So that's 7 teams with as many or more wins and until the Bills can easily beat inferior teams, these others who have won as much or more and look better doing it should be ranked higher. So that puts them down to at least #8 If you want to argue thats where they should be ranked , OK fine, but overall do think the Texans have more talent than the Bills so bumping Buffalo one slot lower to #9 isn't crazy by any stretch.
  23. My friend said to go to the reddit site and it redirects you there.
  24. A friend of mine has told me that the replacement for Reddit is very reliable and great picture quality too.
