  1. Have to say college basketball is almost becoming unwatchable with all the delays to check things out on the monitor to find they need to add four tenths of a second back on the clock
  2. I wonder if they will announce actual numbers like 58% approved, etc?
  3. Was reading how supposedly some owners are hoping the CBA is voted down as they want to add an 18th game and not give up as much money. I'm wondering if this is just a ploy by the owners to try and scare the players into approving as if we reject this the next offer won't be as good. Personally I'd support the owners if they were to do that. The players voted for who's on the executive council and who is the union president, along with going along with hiring of D Smith as the head of the union. They negotiated this deal with the owners in good faith feeling they are supporting the players. For the players to reject this now would be somewhat bad faith negotiating IMO. Wouldn't shock me to see Smith and the president to resign if that were to happen. Let Aaron Rodgers and Sherman lead this thing next time around.
  4. Dion Dawkins played more snaps than Duke Williams so guess would make more sense to have him take Beasley's place. The fact that Beasley and Williams play different positions, didn't stop you from proposing this, so lets go with Dawkins instead! On top of that I believe his catch completion percentage is better than either Beasley or Williams (1 for 1)
  5. I joined last spring, my renewal will be coming soon. IF as the article states the cost is $60 a year, I'll renew, but over $75 or so, then not so sure it's worth it for me. It's a much better value if you're looking for articles on other things besides just the Bills. I will say the articles are always well written and well detailed.
  6. Well I just booked a hotel for the week of the Super Bowl in Tampa so I'm ready. Actually booked it down towards Sarasota. Pickings are already very slim. Actually I've been planning to try and attend next years game ever since it was announced as relatively close. Want to experience the SB week atmosphere.
  7. Kraft can force the signing, and maybe BB does feel Brady still has something left in the tank and while not thrilled with it, is OK with the signing, but there's no way Brady signs there without first having a long sit down with BB and knowing BB, he'd likely to tell Brady straight up, you can sign here, but you may be the highest paid backup in league history and we will be signing another QB of starting caliper, and by the time we do that there'll be very little money left to sign others to play around you. So you and Robert have fun together! If that were to happen, then likely Brady goes elsewhere. I don't know if BB would quit as much as get fired. Does BB have one of those clauses in contract like many stating he has complete control over 53 man roster. If so, then only he can approve the signing and I'm sure he's reminded Kraft of that many times.
  8. Could be they are trying to trade him still now that he's tagged. But still leaves Green with Leverage as he can refuse to go to a team that wants him, though likely any team that goes after him would be a playoff caliper team so good change he'd be OK with it. He can also sign the tag and kind of handcuff the Bengels as then he has $18mil committed to him. Or they could wait until May or so and rescind the tag which would tend to hang out Green to dry as by then teams don't have as much money left to afford him.
  9. Likely you're right, so then will come down to whether he really is willing to leave NE or go back for less $$. Or maybe he'll be pissed enough to take one of the offers, but I'd bet not.
  10. I do wonder if this whole thing with Brady is to shop for offers then bring it back to NE and they match or come close to matching. Or he finds out others value him much less than he thinks and again ends up back in NE for lack of a better offer.
  11. Is the $200 mil under the old or new CBA as the new one will drive it higher yet
  12. Guess they follow the approach of the senate more than the house.
  13. I was born and raised in the NYC area and was a Jet and Giant fan. Moved to western NY in the mid 70's, still was a fan of Jets in fact rooted for the Jets to beat the Bills in the 1980 playoff game which Buffalo won. Then both teams went down the drain, hard to follow losing teams particular when not local. Got caught up in all the hype starting around 1986, ever since have been a Bills fan root for them to beat the Jet's whenever they play. Last 12 years moved to NC, but still follow and root for the Bills. Think it's much easier to be a fan of a long distance team now with the internet. Back when I moved from NY as I said without internet and they start losing, hard to follow and/or keep up with.
  14. The problem with mock drafts compared to the real thing is in mocks one guy is making every pick, so he is going to logically make the picks in the order that he feels they should be chosen. Where as in the real draft there are 32 different selectors and one guy going "off script" upsets the entire apple cart very quickly. Would be interesting to take all these journalists and have each of them make one pick in order like a real draft, then see how close there real draft like picks compare to their own mocks or does any of there mocks come close to resembling what they just picked on a one pick GM like basis.
  15. The tell here will be if they resign Spain. If they let him walk, then could easily move Ford inside, or still draft or sign a FA guard, likely won't know their true intentions until after the draft.. If they do re-sign Spain, then Ford very likely is staying at tackle for 2020. It still gives them some flexibility as Feliciano is a FA next spring. So could so still give Ford another year then at RT, if he's still shaky a year from now, then move him inside inplace of Felicano.
  16. So who do figure we're losing to net us +2 next year. Where was Phillips drafted? Could lose a #1 in Shaq. Can we get anything for not resigning Gore? The system is a year behind on comp picks correct. So who we gain/lose this off season is what determines extra picks in 2021??
  17. Amazing how it seems so hard for people to understand that. They are wanting to shape the roster just to get picks.
  18. Uh Oh, he we go. This will get ugly fast!
  19. You don't need ATT internet to get Direct TV. You can have whomever for your internet service and and just have DTV with ST, but that means a dish on your roof and 2 year contract. Or you can watch the games online though many of the illegal streams that others here talk about. Personally myself, I'd never do anything that's illegal but many others do. But you still are streaming through your internet access and if that's going down all the time then so will the illegal streams too, Most of the other options mentioned, Roku's planbeeTV (whatevet that is) are still dependent on your internet signal, so they really won't help you at all, unless what you're saying is your internet is great all of the time except when you watch a game via ST online.
  20. It's not like the owners agreed to this deal in a vacuum. people from the union were involved and have to believe that overall there is much agreement. Could be the owners will have to make another concession someplace to gets the votes to pass. Think they are way to close to end up in a lockout situation. I wonder too in Watts case do most of the Texans agree with him or is this just him speaking out against it.
  21. Pretty much agree with your comments except think the item in bold would be difficult to accomplish while also doing the other things you mention East coast teams play in London or Montreal, midwest teams in Canada, makes sense, but then you suggest Dallas vs Buffalo in London or Toronto. Small point, but just seems to me the part in bold would become too difficult to schedule around. They can try to o that, but will be exceptions and guarantee there will be 60 plus page thread right here on this site complaining how the Bills got screwed by the schedule makers while NE got the easy travel deal out of it.
  22. The first pic I saw of Hughes made me real nervous. Thinking this doc doesn't know the difference between a wrist and a groin! Don't want him operating on me! Then I read his wife's comment
  23. you're saying these things kick if if NOT agreed to.
