How to watch the game?

It was basically banned last year, except they had a link to a replacement location, see the link is gone. -
Gameday PreGame Thread

There were rumors DTV was going to make the ST streaming available to anyone who wanted it, but that never happened. Still only available to addresses who can't receive it via satellite. Would have thought they could have made a lot of money by having that option this year with limited to no attendance at games and many bars either closed or have limited capacity. -
Seems everyone is assuming Yeldon will be inactive as the 3rd RB like he was last season. Last year though, they also had Demarco active every week so the active roster was taken up by another backfield spot. I can see them instead giving Yeldon a shot and switching him with one of the D lineman as can't see them keeping 5 DE active. Rest I'd tend to agree with though may switch out Philips with Dodson as everything stated sounded like he had a pretty good camp.

My questions about the roster this year.
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch replied to Dkollidas's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Why couldn't Moss play some fullback when needed? Would seem he has the build for it? Wondering if the Bills will run many two back sets this year as would like to see both Moss and Singletary on the field the same time. -
Not knocking what the NFL is doing, but think I'd give more credit to the players for being smart and not putting themselves in places where they can easily become spreaders. Think the setup of the NFL is easier as teams are home all week then travel to away games the day before and back home right afterwards. Unlike baseball where you're on a 10 day road trip with nothing to do, so are bored and go somewhere like a casino for example. The players are older and more mature, many married with families, be willing to bet that regardless of what city/state the players are in, most are keeping their kids in remote learning rather than in person to again lessen chances of bringing home more than their homework. Not going out at night to parties, etc. whereas who knows what these 19 yo college kids will do as the season wheres on. Saw a thing last night on the news some college kid tested positive, was in quarantine so had a big party with other positive kids and didn't think anything he did was bad.

LOL I always thought it was a Rochester thing first, the two in Greece went to quite a bit. Looking at their menu, 10 wings $10.25 I remember first going to Carbone's were $3 Probably the two things I miss the most no longer living up their are Dinosaur BBQ and Carbones. Don't believe the Dinosaur that opened in downtown Buffalo lasted very long though. -
First off can't believe how hard it is to find actual stats these days. All you can find are fantasy rankings! Out of the 50 targets, how many were great easily catchable passes that he dropped? Without replaying every throw to Knox, I'm sure knowing Allen's accuracy issues, many were either badly thrown or at best not an easy to catch ball either. From what I recall there were about 10 drops, certainly not great, but for a rookie lets see how he improves. The one time I could find stats for TE's think he ranked around 30th in receptions, ahead of first round pick Hockenson and close to the other rookie TE's other than Fant. Think there was one rookie drafted lower than had good stats. Many here stated the Bills should have gone after OJ Howard last year as he was available 53 targets, 34 catches, 459 yards, 1 TD not much different! Jimmy Graham had 38 catches out of 60 targets and had passes thrown to him by Aaron Rodgers. 4 more catches by Knox would have put him up with a number of the other highly thought of TE's around 65%, I'm sure there were easily 4 hard to catch passes thrown by Allen say compared to Rodgers. Then factor in how shaky the Bills overall passing attack was! He also can do things after the catch the few in the league can do. His stats this year may be lower with all the weapons the team has, we'll see. Actually the one thing you can say by looking at the stats, the fact that 4 more catches would have put him with the league leaders, means you really can't draw any type of conclusions by looking at the stats. There's not nearly enough body of work there IMO. Was he great, no, but was he putrid and sucked as you stated, absolutely not! Having said all that to the OP's point. Knox is far far cry from Kelce and Davis and Moss have yet to take a snap. So kind of crazy at this point to compare the two teams

CBS All Access / VPN experiment failed
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch replied to Ra-cha-cha's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes it worked, I have some other methods up my sleeve, but this is a good back up and will consider it as may be more reliable. Hmm there's now a Carbones Pizza in Buffalo. That is one place I missed from when I lived in Rochester Thanks for the explanation! -

So I went through the steps you described, is there some way to test it out right now to see if it's working. I don't have CBS all Access, at least not right no, but just wondering if what I did will work for me? -
CBS All Access / VPN experiment failed
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch replied to Ra-cha-cha's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's only going to work in a location that is showing the Bills game on the local affiliate, like Buffalo. If for example you were in Boston, where the NE game is on CBS at 1:00 it won't work. -

Let me know how well it works. I used Kaspersky secure Connection VPN (not Express VPN), connected through England, I had some success with it where I could trick it, but not very often. -
Anthony Lynn Kept BILLS Binders ...

Thought I read Spanos isn't getting much of anything out of this new stadium deal. He didn't put anything in either, but can easily walk away and move back to San Diego -
First Coach Fired This Season and When
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch replied to Big Gun's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Why take chances on not securing the #1 overall pick. It could be a fight to the end between these two. If you fire a coach after around week 14 or 15, it's easy to name an interim coach for 2 to 3 weeks, like the Bills did with Lynn. You name someone after week 5 or 6 , if the problem really was coaching, the new guy could win a bunch of games, and then it becomes hard to justify firing him. (wasn't that what happened in Cleveland with Freddy Kitchens?) Where as in most of these situations you're probably better off hiring a brand new coach and maybe GM too in the off season along with a new staff where you have more choices. Lets say they wanted Frazer, they're not getting him mid season. You only options are promote from the staff or someone who already was unemployed. Granted it did work out with Marv, but those are more the exceptions. All things considered, think there's less mid season firings these days in the NFL compared to 20 to 30 years ago. Actually RW may have led the league in this category! -

Chargers owner is cheap! -
I'm no so certain Yeldon is an easy one. Last year they dressed an extra running back slot with DeMarco. With him gone will they instead dress all three plus Jones for ST I think both AJ and Gillaim sit out the first couple weeks, but by late October they'll be active. Gilliam for ST and AJ based on talent and good chance by then one of the other lineman will be nicked up to some level. If Gilliam is any good at blocking, could see him taking over Smiths spot. 9 O-Lineman on the roster so can only sit out a total of one. Finally MCD let the cat out of the bag on where Ford will be lining up on the line! I know we've all been waiting on that decision

Bills release DiMarco, injury settlement
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wow couldn't believe the the picture in the BN today of DeMarco next to O-lineman V Salako. He looks like a midget. Seems so tiny for a fullback. -
Greece area Bills bars?
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch replied to Bills fan since 87's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I've heard he used to watch the games with Hitler, but stopped as Hitler would just get too intense and excited while watching. Made him nervous one game when the Bills lost and Hitler blamed him for the loss and threatened to attack Greece. I do miss Hitlers presence here on 2BD, always enjoyed his posts. -
Watching Bills games on TV(out of market)

Not sure which crappy on line feeds you're talking about but the one a close friend of mine tells me about are very good, as good as satellite and certainly much better during stormy weather.. It seems like the technology of illegal feed has caught up alot! LOL Just have to know where to look I've heard. If you did a Google search, it would probably lead you to some good ones that might forward you on to the latest ones. You may have reddit about it hear -
Question: Is Moss pushing Devin to start?
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Maybe not yet, but could see it happen by late in the season, particularly if fumbling does does become/continue to be an issue. Or if Moss is just much better as a blocker
