  1. Did he attempt longer and missed or just never was asked to kick anything longer?
  2. So who has a stronger arm Barkley or Fromm?? To me that's the biggest question. And will they keep all three on the active roster. Doubt you could cut Fromm and slip him to PS. Or do they cut Barkley in September?
  3. In addition to everything already stated why this is a bad idea, Shady also isn't a good compliment to him. I'd prefer seeing a Derrick Henry type of power back.
  4. I have faith in Houston offering Watson and their 1st for Yannick! If Jax holds out they'll throw in Watt
  5. At a certain point, the new guys become the vets. There was post yesterday commenting how Allan doesn't necessarily need Barkley for the vet presence, so could see that here too and not sure he doesn't view Kroft as that guy either. If Sweeney can come closer to Smith in blocking I'd prefer seeing Smith gone and keep Croom as the 4th TE as he brings something different to the field, more of a WR like TE
  6. I think Sweeney will have improved enough as a blocker that Smith gets cut assuming no injuries to anyone.
  7. From his first marriage.
  8. So hows that compare to a typical NFL weekend say in October?
  9. I never watched it, like having downtime after the NFL season ends, kind of like the players, need time to recoup orate for the next season. But am curious how were the rating, And maybe not the first week, but how were they the last couple they were on? Didn't hear much about it which typically isn't a good thing.
  10. Great idea! Lets replace Barkley who has bee n in the offense and worked with Allen for two years now with a guy who hasn't played football in two years, doesn't know the offense or the players in a season where they likely will be limited off-season work. Keep these coming!
  11. If anything the rank and file could try and sue the NFLPA leadership, but likely they all have millions in personal liability insurance (i.e. getting sued) thru the NFLPA. So in reality in the remote chance they could possibly win a lawsuit, force the insurance companies to pay out, then watch the insurance company jack the rates way up so their union dues would increase to pay for it.
  12. You think someone would trade for Murphys contract? Johnson could see that happening, but what are you going to get for a former 7th rounder that you're obviously trying to get rid of. At best a 6th rounder. Same with a guy like Williams, a guy who couldn't make an NFL roster the past two plus seasons. You may get a couple of 6th rounders if lucky but not anything close to moving up in the first 3 rounds. Teams ware willing to mybe let go 6th, sometimes a 5th if a really good situation, but not much higher.
  13. I was joking! Kidding in regards to all the NE hatred in WNY that the masks were coming there.
  14. Brings back memories from the scene from the movie Airplane
  15. Rumor has it they are all going to Buffalo!! https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/companies/a-million-n95-masks-are-coming-from-china-on-the-patriots-plane/ar-BB1242KH?li=BBnb7Kz
  16. For WR think they will draft someone, particularly if someone with size likely Williams is the odd man out as McKenzie gives them the gadget plats, maybe get Williams back to PS Will depend how Ford looks pre-season, if he looks fine, then maybe Ty or Williams is cut, or they keep 9. Same with D line I think they keep 9 total. Can't see that they'd sign all these guys, pay roster bonuses only then to turn around and cut Murphy who was the lineman last year that played the most. If they draft someone , then Johnson goes to PS Remember McD seems like like fresh bodies on the line With re-signing Proyer, could see them waiting a year before drafting a safety They get two extra roster spots this year, think it will be two of the following three groups taking those spots: D line, O-line, secondary. Which two not certain, if I had to guess I'd go with secondary and D-line
  17. OK well then maybe the OP was incorrect, though still not sure the extra 6th is going to help too much as at the bottom of the 6th. Amazingly 7th rounders are worth a total of 1 point!
  18. Well then I guess the OP is wrong as he posted a list of all the picks we have and that only showed one left.
  19. We don't have 2 6th's only one, 2nd one was traded for Diggs. If you keep your 2nd and 3rd and trade all remaining picks, you can get up to the bottom of the 3rd. Personally I'd rather have a 4th and 5th as you can still get good players at that area of the draft.
  20. Really little to trade, they have no ammo this year. According to the chart if the traded their 3rd and 4th would move them up about 8 spots in the 3rd, throw in their 6th gets them up about 15 slots. If they keep their 2nd and 3rd, and then trade their 4th, 5th and 6th, would get them up the very bottom of the 3rd. While I agree the Bills aren't likely to keep that many rookies, you can find value in the 4th and 5th rounds, so not sure they'd want to give up that much to move not a huge amount. The Bills had more picks in those those other years you're looking at makes a big difference. Trying to predict the future based on past performance is kind of useless in this case IMO as they don't have all the picks to work with as they did in those prior years.
  21. But will their O-line be able to handle it and Josh figure out quickly enough where to go with the ball? Seems like that was an area he struggled in alot last year against the all out blitz. If I were the defensive coordinator, think that's how'd I'd defend it as can't match up with the WR so don't give him any time to think.
  22. The problem with draft boards whether people here on TBD or the "experts" like the Mel Kipers of the world down to the lesser published ones is every selection is made by the same person so everything plays out perfect in their own mind. Would be interesting to take 32 of these "experts" assign them numbers 1 thru 32 and let them each pick in order of players still on the board. Let's see how close any of these guys after the draft boards come to look like what they had picked beforehand. My other pet peeve about the actual draft. After it's over, do you ever hear a GM tell you they didn't pick the best player available as opposed to they more made their selection based on need? But they will tell you he's the best where as more than likely may have been in their top 5 selections, but the one they selected fits the need better.
  23. I wasn't necessarily implying everyone has to get it it. If the people who are "clean" today don't interact with anyone infected that have it today it will slow down and maybe disapear the way a fire burns itself out. I live in NC on March 17th we pretty much implemented the same rules as NY did around the same time frame except where I live there was not yet one positive case in my surrounding area. Effective Monday we now are under a Shelter in place which really doesn't change a whole lot as to what is and isn't open other than they can fine and arrest people whereas today they can just nicely ask them to leave. Today we have close to 20 cases in the area. By around this time next week and new cases were likely contracted after they shut most stuff down i.e. the rule breakers. So will see even if half the people obey the rules it should knock the numbers down some. BTW just curious as have heard conflicting statements on this, not that I even drink coffee but is Starbucks deemed essential and open in NY?
  24. So how'd China and Korea do it? I kind of look at this like a forest fire, eventually there's nothing left to burn so it goes away.
  25. OK but still why did they single out lineman, why not a different position to require a certain amount? Is the idea they don't want teams to have too many "skill" position players active?
