  1. Before you posted this, by any chance did you actually look at Zack Ertz rookie stats? They were slightly better than Knox's stats, 36 v 28 catches, 469 v 388 yards, 4 v 2 TD's, and basically the same size and weight. So how in your wisdom do you know that Knox won't be just as good. Knox had many drops, though am sure while some were his fault, likely with Allen's accuracy issues likely some weren't the easiest to catch either and that's pretty much his only fault. (and I'm not saying this as a knock on Allen either, accuracy has improved, but still not great) Exactly how many drops did Ertz have his rookie year BTW? Ertz 2nd season was up to 58 catches, not amazing by any stretch. Over the years he's certainly benefited from having a better cast around him too than Knox had last season This is exactly how teams get themselves into trouble with the cap by making dumb moves like this. You have to cut other players to pay for a guy like Ertz and you then give up on a 3rd round draft pick on top of it. Will Knox become a great TE, who knows, and no one else knows either, but he's also got too much potential talent not to be out there on a regular basis as a #1 TE to develop.. If he cuts the drops in half, that would be pretty good. He also may not get many more chances this year with having a better cast around him too.
  2. The product may be legit, and can air the games on local TV but to air out of city NFL games, no way! Are you telling me they have the expressed written consent of the NFL to rebroadcast or re-transmit the game, 110% they don't have permission to do that in fact am certain they don't. If they did why aren't they advertising all over as competition to Sunday Ticket. It may work and you can watch the games, but it's not legal. And as someone else pointed out it's one thing to watch illegal streams of games for free, but when asked to pay money never with so many free methods around.
  3. I don't know anything about planbeetv other than to know that if you can watch every NFL game it's not legal. I just went to their website one of the things it says there is "CHECK SPAM/JUNK BOX AFTER ORDERING AND FOR FUTURE INVOICES" That doesn't exactly sound like an above board legit website! This thing may work great and will allow you to watch every game and not that I'm all about being legal with regards to watching the games but this doesn't sound legit as there is not a legal way they can offer every NFL game. LOL, just clicked on a link to take you to the home page, instead it took me to a billing page. Doesn't exactly sound legit. As was stated there are many other free sites out there just a legal as this one.
  4. Beane doesn't like giving big signing bonuses. In Milanos case he have have to give him a big one to keep 2021 money as low as possible. Beane may only want to give him a 4 year contract, but again may need to go with 5 years to spread the money out more to lower it for 2021.
  5. I wonder if that will change this year as no active game day slot for a FB? Will they keep all 4 RB's active now? Either way I'd ask the same question of they cut Yeldon and signed Miller too.
  6. Kind of surprised no one mentioned Gilliam in particular since they are now calling him a TE, not a FB?? Hard to choose though between Gilliam, Phillips, and maybe Fromm. Actually I expected Fromm to be cut on Sunday after they got Webb onto the PS, but that didn't happen either. As to players who didn't get cut probably Murphy stands out there. But still could be cut before Saturday after that I believe his salary becomes guaranteed? Without a true FB on the roster what do they really lose if instead they were to line up Singletary and Moss together in the backfield. Couldn't Moss easily fill that role with his build and supposedly he's a decent blocker? I do wonder too if not having a true FB, will that open up another active game day spot for Yeldon? Maybe will come down to Yeldon or Gilliam being active and would think the edge would go to Yeldon at least for the first few weeks of the season as Gilliam is still in the deep learning mode.
  7. It still could happen, the first injury where they need to make a roster move and Jake is gone. I'll rule it out on New Year Day. the Bills made him practice the last two days without shoulder pads to make sure he'd qualify. So from what I can figure there were just 4 guys the Bills didn't try to sign to PS: R Foster B Allen T Smart M Harrell Haven't seen where any of those 4 were picked up by another team??
  8. Remember the no punt game, this is the no punt season!
  9. # of the 4 listed for the Bills hardly played last year and the 4th was a kick returner only. Hard to believe that level of talent makes the top 5, but maybe??
  10. Actually yes you could have been more clear by stating you are local to Western NY. I also did say OR are you in the Western NY area, and just don't have access to a TV? Maybe if you had been more clear WhoTom wouldn't have posted a picture of an antenna either. So guess I'm not alone in not understanding your need. There are often posts here of people out of the area figuring out ways to watch out of market games and CBS All Access often comes up as will is that an option that would work for me and the answer given them is no. Most posts here are from out of area people trying to scheme a way to watch the games. Now that I actually understand what you want to do, the answer is no , I don't have any ideas for you. And for someone looking for help you're certainly being a jerk about it!
  11. Saw one article that quoted the same numbers and also commented that it's an extension which means it's in effect after the 5th year option and seemed to imply that was a good thing. But with a reduced cap next year, wouldn't that be a bad thing as the 5th year option price is fairly high?
  12. That looks a lot like my antenna too and even the very close on the shingle color too. Actually I have the Clearstream II not the IV connected to a TIVO DVR
  13. Guess I don't understand what you're trying to accomplish? CBS All Access will only allow you to watch the game that is on the local CBS affiliate wherever you're located. Or are you in the Western NY area, and just don't have access t oa TV? I live in North Carolina, so CBS Access would give me the same and only the same game that is on local TV. There are some comments here in the past that you can spook your IP address to a location where the game is being shown, then All Access may work. But I've played around with that a little and results are sporadic. This week they are playing the Jets so probably easy to find an FTP server in NYC to latch onto. But if playing a team like Cinncy or Tenn, not sure how easy it would even be to find a server to jump onto?? Really didn't address the Fox issues as even if there were an app it would fall under the same rules of the local station only. There are other ways to watch the games on line certainly as many people here talk about. I can tell you that a close friend of mine says they are very reliable too.
  14. Hey all CEN-CAL said was don't be surprised if was cut. He didn't say anything about tomorrow! Give the guy a break!
  15. OK so what is the correct name? When typing it thought I may be off a couple of letters or so.
  16. Agree and then the league tries to close those paths to roster shenanigans, then the teams figure out a new one. Wouldn't shock me to see the NFLPA doesn't like this and if so will pressure the league to eliminate the practice somehow.
  17. Agree and trust can be construed as side deals or unwritten promises which I would think the league would frown on. One article I read stated Brian Boehm is a likely candidate for this too.
  18. Yes but from everything stated, the teams are cutting side deals,, telling the player we're going to cut you, bring you back on Sunday and for your trouble we'll give you an extra $50 k bonus or something. Agree it's not circumventing the rule, but I think it's circumventing the spirit of the rule. Will not be supervised to hear some March at the NFL owners meeting a new rule is in place that eliminates this process. Assuming they can figure out a way to prevent it.
  19. I'm not talking about the future considerations part, I'm talking about cutting a guy and bringing him back the next day so you can get another player on the 53 to be able to IR him with the designation to return. There was an article I read today that another player who may fit this deal is Brian Boehm, he has more than 4 years so is a straight cut, then bring him back and IR Feliciano. to me this seems like a back door way to circumvent the rules. Understand everyone else can and do also do this, but just doesn't seem like something the league wants to encourage and what does the NFLPA feel about this? Do they feel it restricts movement??
  20. If this is the plan to come back and re-sign him on Sunday, I do wonder if the league will change the rules in future years to prevent this somehow? While I understand they are not breaking any rules and that every team in the league can make such moves and likely many others are doing a similar thing, I do question if the league rules were developed with the intent of allowing these types of side deals. I'm guessing not and won't be shocked to see them close this loophole, though off the top of my head, can't see an easy way to prevent these things from happening.
  21. I'm just kidding, though not sure it's a trade in the works as just haven't yet announced the final cuts in those areas. Could be trying to re-work the Morphy deal?
  22. Wow 14 defensive lineman still on the roster. With that much depth it's Super Bowl all the way!!
  23. While I am fine with the move and expected him to be cut and thought all the people here pining for Duke and making the case of why he should make the 53 were all completely crazy, I also think of all the young Bills players being cut today, he likely has one of the best chances of being picked up by another team as there is actual game film of his play and he did OK when called upon. Will see if he's signed elsewhere.
  24. So I wonder what happens now, he's cut so no pick to Carolina, then the sign him back Sunday, does Carolina still then get a pick as he was now signed as a FA?
  25. Any even with 7 it likely won't include Duke Williams much to the dismay of thousands here!
