  1. So would you prefer only sending 10 guys out on special teams play?
  2. He's already here, Harrison Phillips. So you need a #4 guy
  3. There goes Dak's bargaining chip. No OTA's!
  4. Ok I just say the first one from mid Feb
  5. So when does the tag date end? Today? thought it was last week some time, but recall it was extended.
  6. The date on the Nashville post was a month ago.
  7. I'd be happy wit ha move like this assuming not a high price tag. I'd prefer they draft a rookie, but rookie WR can take longer to develop. This way not depending on the rookie for much production this year at least the first half. Whatever you get from the rookie is gravy as have three others plus Knox that can keep defenses honest. May even be tougher this year for rookies as time working with QB may be curtailed due to virus issues? As an aside I wonder if Josh is still working out with Palmer or has that been put on hold too?
  8. I'd rather see pass rusher in Round 1, then WR round #2 and then O-line. Basically not enough picks to get a RB too. Think it's easier and cheaper to get a guy like Howard who could be a valuable asset to the team rather than trying to find a FA WR or lineman without spending much more. I'd also sign a FA WR too, but not one of the high price names so not depending a on a rookie WR to be a major contributor at least at the beginning of the season. Think Beane can get some more of the short term deals with FA that fill lower level holes and use the draft for the major ones and I don't think a #2 or #3 RB is a major need.
  9. Hey man I got some in the trunk of my car, it's the good stuff too, 2 ply! You interested?
  10. So just cause San Fran says they're not interested, why does that mean they're not? What would San Fran accomplish by stating they want him? First off could be considered tampering until Monday. Plus would likely drive up the price and if they don't sign him, create an uncomfortable situation with Jimmy G. Could even be they or others do want him, but waiting until he lowers his asking price. I guess by this time next week, if no teams sign him, then I'll start to believe no interest.
  11. Can it? I'd question if it's actually mathematically as for every loss someone else won a game, so would be hard for another team to not have more wins than that and instead maker it. I guess I'd say the odds of it happening are extremely low. Much better chances of other things happening ... like for example a team ever losing 4 Super Bowls in a row.
  12. Here's what I hate about threads like this, you have to search through the entire thread to find all the latest. Admittedly currently only 2 pages long, but many of these will become 50 page threads. Often see things pinned to the top like a poll, wondering if there's a way the summary can stay at the top. Obviously would require someone going in maybe couple times a day to update the latest, but would make it easier A ticker would be really cool with the latest that scrolls across.
  13. Seems to work fine for Fantasy! Why not here too?
  14. Short term yes, longer term still up in the air. My take on this entire thing is while Ford didn't play great at RT, for a rookie, he more than held his own. Lets see how he handles the upcoming season so give him another full year a RT and still have Ty to spell him if needed. Next year at this time Feliciano is a FA so if Ford doesn't look better at RT, then move him inside next year into that spot.
  15. Glad you're not the GM! They both were productive, but neither is anywhere close to being tag worthy.
  16. Have to say college basketball is almost becoming unwatchable with all the delays to check things out on the monitor to find they need to add four tenths of a second back on the clock
  17. I wonder if they will announce actual numbers like 58% approved, etc?
  18. Was reading how supposedly some owners are hoping the CBA is voted down as they want to add an 18th game and not give up as much money. I'm wondering if this is just a ploy by the owners to try and scare the players into approving as if we reject this the next offer won't be as good. Personally I'd support the owners if they were to do that. The players voted for who's on the executive council and who is the union president, along with going along with hiring of D Smith as the head of the union. They negotiated this deal with the owners in good faith feeling they are supporting the players. For the players to reject this now would be somewhat bad faith negotiating IMO. Wouldn't shock me to see Smith and the president to resign if that were to happen. Let Aaron Rodgers and Sherman lead this thing next time around.
  19. Dion Dawkins played more snaps than Duke Williams so guess would make more sense to have him take Beasley's place. The fact that Beasley and Williams play different positions, didn't stop you from proposing this, so lets go with Dawkins instead! On top of that I believe his catch completion percentage is better than either Beasley or Williams (1 for 1)
  20. I joined last spring, my renewal will be coming soon. IF as the article states the cost is $60 a year, I'll renew, but over $75 or so, then not so sure it's worth it for me. It's a much better value if you're looking for articles on other things besides just the Bills. I will say the articles are always well written and well detailed.
  21. Well I just booked a hotel for the week of the Super Bowl in Tampa so I'm ready. Actually booked it down towards Sarasota. Pickings are already very slim. Actually I've been planning to try and attend next years game ever since it was announced as relatively close. Want to experience the SB week atmosphere.
  22. Kraft can force the signing, and maybe BB does feel Brady still has something left in the tank and while not thrilled with it, is OK with the signing, but there's no way Brady signs there without first having a long sit down with BB and knowing BB, he'd likely to tell Brady straight up, you can sign here, but you may be the highest paid backup in league history and we will be signing another QB of starting caliper, and by the time we do that there'll be very little money left to sign others to play around you. So you and Robert have fun together! If that were to happen, then likely Brady goes elsewhere. I don't know if BB would quit as much as get fired. Does BB have one of those clauses in contract like many stating he has complete control over 53 man roster. If so, then only he can approve the signing and I'm sure he's reminded Kraft of that many times.
