    Pro Bowl is stupid but maybe this motivates Allen a bit. As good as he’s been, he has not come close to hitting his ceiling this season.

    If they tried putting Ford on an island against two of the best young pass rushers in the league, all hell would break loose. Brown had a rough game no question and he became unglued a bit which is why he was briefly benched (he came back in on third and long and immediately gave up a sack) but even at his worst he’s better than Ford who has no business on a starting NFL roster.

    Agreed but there were a couple of runs today where if he just had more burst he would’ve had monster gains. That cutback in the red zone for example. It’s too bad he’s not faster.

    The Patriots were doing this thing on running plays where they strung out their runs sideways and waited until the defenders (linebackers in particular) hit their gaps and took on blockers, and then cut upfield and past the defense. Over and over again with little adjustment from Frazier and co.
