  1. My issue with Levi is that he’s made of glass. Every time he falls down hard or makes a tough tackle I worry he’s not going to get up again.
  2. The Falcons are one of a couple of teams (Reskins, Eagles, Seahawks) who I haven't seen actually make a tackle on defense in like 5 years.
  3. Other than that and a couple other plays, I thought Horrible Harry played really well yesterday.
  4. Hot take: their coach letting him throw only 3 times because it was windy outside may have undermined his confidence and the confidence his teammates had in him. They’re 0-2 since.
  5. He may be right though. Neither Jones nor Judon looked right yesterday. Jones isn't great but he was having trouble with 6-yard passes which has been his ace - he might well be hurt. And Judon was getting pulled to the sideline more than usual.
  6. He beat the Colts in the playoffs last year. He beat the Chiefs in Arrowhead on national tv this year. This might be the worst take I’ve ever seen around here.
  7. No one cares about your “gut feeling” about Josh’s intelligence.
  8. Expect NE to add a stud receiver or two in the offseason. Amari Cooper? Devonte Adams? Could see Beasley taking his insufferable act to NE too.
  9. You just feel it? What is it with the internet!?
  10. He sailed a near INT to begin the game-clinching drive. Allen throws such a hard ball the defenders have trouble hanging on. It was his only bad play and it was his day, he lucked out, and he was otherwise flawless.
  11. When Allen is staying patient and mostly within the structure of the offense, I agree.
  12. This might be my favorite, on the 4th and 1 when Josh was scrambling he did a rugby dummy fake with the ball and the two defenders crashed into each other instead of him… what a baller.
  13. Dawkins was forced to play after the injury and actually may have had his best game. Such an odd season.
  14. Still don’t love the shenanigans inside the 5 yard line - it’s like they have no go-to plays down there they’re comfortable with and pull out the mad scientist crap instead, which they clearly don’t practice enough. Daboll needs to learn that it’s better to master 3-5 plays than to dabble in 27 plays… Daboll the Dabbler. Brian Dabble. I’m onto something here…
  15. Allen did a bunch of things today that you’re never supposed to do: - throwing back across his body to the middle of the field in the red zone (2x) - refusing to slide on scrambles - trying to jump over defenders - throwing it backhanded (2x) He got away with all of those things because he’s simply a superior athlete to everyone else on the field, and because he’s reaching the point in his career where he’s understanding what he can get away with and when. And when he wasn’t doing crazy Josh Allen sh- he was playing within the structure of the game plan, taking the easy checkdowns which they dared him to take, throwing the ball away when it was time to quit on the play, and not turning the ball over against a ferocious D. Josh Allen is a superstar and we’re incredibly lucky to be able to watch him do his thing for the next decade.
  16. He looks like a high-end backup to me. Jay Fiedler.
  17. Talent disparity today was obvious. Bills dropped 2 TDs and an INT and still dominated.
  18. Sanders is in Vontae Davis territory with me.
  19. They called timeout then came back and ran a delayed handoff into the back of the line and lost a guard in the process. If that doesn’t sum up Daboll in 2021, nothing does.
  20. Tips don’t matter on defensive holding.
  21. If McD were a true historian of Buffalo Bills football he’d understand that sitting Dawkins to prove a point has a good chance of impairing his owners’ $250m investment. That’s just how these “against the grain” decisions by Bills’ “braintrust” tend to break.
