  1. Wow everyone is really on-brand in this sorry thread.
  2. Either way I don't think he'll be too expensive if they want to keep him on a team-friendly deal. His skills aren't too valuable on the open market - it's not like he came on late with a bevy of sacks or INTs, for example.
  3. But those idiot fans with their premature declarations...
  4. And yet in another way it's far too early to declare Phillips a "cornerstone" of anything. He's come on in the second half of this season. Before that he was in danger of losing his job. It's still far from clear he can sustain his current level of play nor is it a sure thing that he'll remain a starter even if they bring him back next year.
  5. What kind of sh-- post is this? Oliver has played great this year. Phillips has played really well the last few games. Why you'd take all of that as an opportunity to chest-thump and berate fellow Bills fans is beyond me. You had nothing to do with either player's success and it's not as if you've been running around championing those two as hidden gems on this forum.
  6. There is literally a thread on this right below yours….
  7. As someone said upthread - the Bills need to add one or two YAC monsters to their offense. Can’t remember the last time someone besides Allen broke a tackle upfield. Defenses kept the Bills in front of them this season and they lacked the offensive personnel to take advantage of the space. Beasley is WASHED.
  8. Their drafting and development have been really good. Two years where their QB got hurt they suffered poor records. Most teams will.
  9. One of your better ones. Agree Josh was throwing too many fastballs. Re the DBs, even on Pitts’ big play the defensive back (think it was Levi) was right there and almost made a play on the ball - Pitts pulled it away from him and then took off for a big gain.
  10. He's far more credentialed than John Lynch who has done just fine in SF.
  11. Mediocrity would be an upgrade for that franchise. They need a GM, coach and scouting department pulling in the same, sane direction for a few years.
  12. Daboll tries to conduct science experiments on supposedly inferior opponents and it often explodes in his face. It’s highly frustrating.
  13. Riddick is in his early 50s and neither Riddick nor Dungy are "retreads" and it would be an all-minority leadership team in the jewel of the NFL's old franchises. What are you talking about?
  14. Those are three really great individuals (Dungy, Riddick and Frazier) and I'd be happy for all of them if this comes to fruition.
  15. Would love to see what Sean Peyton could do with Baker. Same height as Brees.
  16. Folks here underrate Jackson. It’s not his fault he was put in the Pro Bowl but the forever “chip on shoulder” Bills’ fans seem to hold it against him. They love him in Baltimore, he won an MVP already and their entire offense is designed around him. He’s definitely getting paid. That said, it’s pretty amazing that Allen is the only QB from that heralded class who will be in the playoffs this year. Amazing how everything transpired.
  17. That org did nothing to help him last night. They left the rookie RT on an island against Watt all game despite the pummeling their QB was taking with his already-injured shoulder. Franchise is a mess.
  18. I don’t think he or his OC had enough respect for their opponent.
  19. Allen’s worst play yesterday was actually pulling it back from McKenzie on the option - 19 would’ve scored.
  20. I wouldn't touch this thread with @teef's @Gugny
  21. Solid depth player, good locker room guy and seems coachable. I’m sure they’d like to bring him back and it shouldn’t take much. His skill set is simply not the kind of thing the market values too highly. Look at how much guys like Dalvin Tomlinson, Derrick Wolfe, etc. got and those guys can occasionally rush the passer. Harry won’t be expensive to re-sign if they want him.
