The article seems to be saying their drafts haven't matched their scheme preference. They took Uche out of Michigan who I thought would become a great pass rusher and per the article he's not playing because he can't set the edge - which was never going to be his skill. Bizarre.

He's just a nightmare to cover. I'd love it if they could just match up Siran Neal on him and have Neal bully him out of his breaks but they've tried that before, I believe, and it didn't go too well. Taron is just too small to deal with Kelce I'm afraid.

Some real mouth-breather responses to a well-informed article and post. I don't see the Patriots overhauling everything this offseason - I think they'll give it at least one more season to see if they can make this system work. I'd expect them to franchise JC Jackson and then go after multiple WR threats - Kirk and Godwin would be two really good adds.

Josh was the rare athlete who was continuing to develop physically well into college and beyond. His running ability has simply and improbably improved post-college.

That suits KC more than us - Spagnola likes his CBs to play handsy, it worked out for the Chiefs in last years’ matchups. Bills need to figure out ways to get our receivers free releases off the line. Chiefs will try to play press-and-pressure, disrupt Allen’s timing while wrecking his pocket. Gotta be ready to counter that. Agree with this but is the inverse true? If they can generate pressure with their front four and press/mug the Bills’ receivers, do the odds tilt 70/30 their way?

By definition that’s premeditated! You’ve got to wait 6-10 minutes!

A Poles/Bienemy pairing would add some juice to that franchise.

Hurts looks today just like he looked to me in college - a one-read QB who will never be a natural passer. He stinks. Tua it’s too early. I don’t see any real difference between Tua and Mac Jones - both are smart natural throwers who can run an offense but will never be able to stress a defense by throwing to the far areas of the field. Their ceiling is Alex Smith/Ryan Tannehill - but that doesn’t mean they can’t win super bowls if they’re paired with the right OC and other things break their way.

That does it. Fitz is in the club for life.

The real question is would it have been nearly as epic in a dome? I can’t imagine it would have. Congrats to those of you who were there - this expat is supremely jealous.
