@Rand_Getlin: Osemele's market was incredibly hot. When the deal is announced, it'll blow the top off of the OG market. Huge get for the #Raiders. THAT is why Richie is testing the market. That's also why the idea of signing Richie AND Jahri is a pipe dream.

Not bringing back Stefan Charles because we're really tight and had to choose between him and Corbin Bryant - I understand. Bringing back Jordan Mills because he's an Offensive Tackle and we're in dire need of them - I understand. Bringing back #3 WR (at best) Chris Hogan instead of Bacarri Rambo when he could have easily been replaced by either Greg Salas, Jarrett Boykin, or Greg Little - I'll never understand. Especially considering how tight financially they are.

Evans is a 6 time Pro Bowler who was let go for refusing to come down from his $3+ Million a year deal. He's not going to come cheap. And we know Richie's contract's going to be bigger. I really think the idea of Jahri AND Richie is a pipe dream. It's one or the other.

As much as I'd love for that to be true - I don't think that's the case. Jahri Evans was released for refusing to take a pay cut from the Saints. I don't think we could swing both financially.

I was worried about this. We got a discount on him last year and we were rewarded for it with Pro Bowl play. He doesn't owe us anything more. Expecting to get him for less than market value was a pipe dream.

Tyrod is a middle of the road NFL QB right now. And a middle of the road NFL QB (in today's NFL) will get you to right about where they're going to end up. 8-8, 9-7; just short of the playoffs. He's certainly the best option we have right now. But I hope they keep their eyes open this offseason.

I've wondered if the international flight had anything to do with it. I could see the protocol people having an issue with that long of a flight in a pressurized cabin so soon from a concussion.

They brought him in to the 2012 Rookie Mini-Camp but didn't sign him and he ended up in Kansas City.

Still - he has gone to Kansas City, Dallas, Cleveland, Tampa Bay, Tennessee, and now (most likely) Buffalo since 2012. You don't get that many look-see's if there's absolutely nothing there.

I wonder if this visit took place before or after they were awarded Gabe Ikard off waivers. I gotta assume it was just in case they didn't get Ikard. I can't imagine they need two backup Centers on top of Urbik.

Or maybe Ty Powell went down for the year and we're stupid thin at the position? AJ Tarpley made the team at the same position as a UDFA. He might not have shown a whole lot - but he's still a decently decorated Clemson product we spent a draft pick on at a position with little depth. I'm not surprised regardless of relationship. Tom Coughlin drafted his son in law. Who cares?

We do need Lineman and Rex does like Clemson.

@MMehtaNYDN: Jason Babin is the first relatively surprising cut by the Jets. Solid veteran. Bodes well for Trevor Reilly now. #nyj Not a Bills cut. But with our depth at DE/3-4 OLB underneath Williams and Hughes plus the fact that he played for Ryan last year - it might be worth keeping an eye on.

Honestly, from what I've seen of him this Pre-Season - I'd pick him up as the 3rd QB behind EJ if he were to be cut.
