  1. Trying really hard not to get my hopes up. Again.
  2. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/01/04/report-colt-mccoy-has-been-told-hes-in-chip-kellys-plans/ This is interesting. If Weeden isn't in Chip Kelly's plans, I wonder if we'd be a potential trade partner.
  3. Excuse my ignorrance, what's Buffalo Chips?
  4. You know what? I'd have preferred Chip Kelly straight up telling us "no" to the interview, if this is truly the case. It would have been a lot easier to deal with than thinking that we actually had a shot just to have every media member in the world tell us that he's interested in all of his options. Except us. Russ, if you think trotting out Ken Whisenhunt after everything you said at your press conference is going to fly; think again.
  5. Yeah? And he all but reported Buddy Nix was fired too. His reputation took a big hit because of it, IMO. I don't understand. I could see Chip Kelly granting us an interview for leverage. But why the hell would Buffalo interviewing him as a "token gesture"?
  6. Yeah, it's busch league. But since WGR only comes in on the radio in Rochester from 8-5 (also busch league!) - I thought it was my only option for live streaming. Thanks for the TuneIn heads up. I'll only use it for the Audio Vault now!
  7. Bears - Bruce Arians Bills -Chip Kelly Cardinals - Ray Horton Browns - Ken Whisenhunt Chargers - Lovie Smith Chiefs - Andy Reid Eagles - Mike McCoy Cleveland and Buffalo's choices probably switch. But this is wishful thinking.
  8. Yeah, well, that might bite us in the ass if Chip Kelly chooses Cleveland over us.
  9. Wasn't this the same guy that was reporting Jim Kelly and Thurman Thomas bought the team? Yeeeeeeaaaaahhhhhh. Sounds legit.
  10. Now ProFootballTalk and, even, WGR are running with LaCanfora's tweet like it's some sort of gospel. Why don't you just come right out there and say "he'll interview with Buffalo, but I don't think he's not going there because Buffalo sucks". And how do you know this info, LaCanfora? Last I checked, no one was even sure he was going to definitely coach NFL ball. Now you know he's not going to come here? Why is he interviewing then? To me, it's just negative Bills propaganda perpetuated by the man to hold us down! Brandon was right, we are irrelevant and it's sickening. I mean, seriously? The Arizona Cardinals and Cleveland Browns are getting all this publicity like they're great franchises and we're a wasteland? SERIOUSLY?!
  11. Yeah? Yesterday ESPN reported with 95% certainty that Andy Reid was going to be the Head Coach of the Arizona Cardinals. They're reporting today that Andy Reid is all but certainly the Head Coach of the Kansas City Chiefs. I don't hold too much credence on a tweet by Jason LaConfora. If that were the case, why even take the interview?
  12. They can have Bill O'Brien. If he's the type of guy to, after ONE SEASON into preaching hope and convincing kids to give Penn State a try, leave; I certainly hope the Bills aren't considering him. Honestly, I don't see what's so great about the Cleveland job. I'd think we'd have the advantage with Chip having the ability to choose his QB in the draft or free agency, instead of being saddled with Brandon Weeden. I'd also think C.J. Spiller would be a more enticing offensive weapon for him than Trent Richardson.
  13. THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT! FUGG YEAH DOGGY! .... sorry. He's #1 on my list. I had heard all day that we reportedly wanted to interview him. But hearing reported interest and seeing a confirmed interview is taking place by the national media is another. Sorry Doc, I was just looking for this kind of confirmation. Fingers crossed!
  14. When? Just now or yesterday? Last I heard was just speculation from Howard Simon saying that they were "going to make a push for him". That's all i've heard so far. I'd like something more substantial than that as Russ says he's going to "leave no stone unturned". So of course he's going to say "we'll make a push for (so and so)". I'm not sure until I read that it's definitely happening.
  15. Yeah, outside of Bill Cowher, Jon Gruden, Chip Kelly, or Bruce Arians (which are all basically pipe dreams); I can't think of a better hire for us. Certainly an upgrade from Chan! Do eeeeeetttt!!!!
  16. I said "yes" because I don't know how you could possibly be a fan right now if you aren't optimistic with change on the horizon.
  17. Why? We aren't the only ones. Don't just read "Arizona Cardinals Coordinator" and assume it's a bad move. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/12/31/cardinals-receive-several-requests-for-ray-horton/
  18. Actually, Ray Horton is kind of a chique name around the league right now. Good defensive mind. And let's face it; a Bills coach with corn rows is a pretty boss visual.
  19. Didn't we want to interview him 3 years ago? I thought he told us to go fly a kite. What's changed, Russ?
  20. And i'm hearing that interest is one sided. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/12/31/report-chargers-not-interested-in-reid/
  21. Yeah, it was a little tough for me to read from Buscaglia that Chan said goodbye with tears in his eyes. I totally agree with JM57. The other guys I didn't like on any level, football or as a person. But Chan was a good guy and a straight shooter. On a personal level, i'm a little sad. But on a football level, this is what I wanted. It feels a little strange. Good luck Chan. I hope you land on a team that can utilize you as a stud Offensive Coordinator!
  22. "Uh listen, I just signed the team over. But I gotta tell ya: it wasn't pretty dude. I mean GOD DAMN! Like, sign your team over, BAD. I just did it. I'm out. You should be ashamed of yourself and may god have mercy on your soul". ..... or something to that nature.
  23. Yo Meathead. May want to read the sticky that just got put up.
