You forget he's lining up against perhaps the best WR in football in DeAndre Hopkins. I was expecting White to have a couple passes completed on him before this. If he's hurt, even a little bit, it could get bad.

We are thin at CB after Vontae pulled a Vontae and Phillip Gaines (who is terrible to begin with) has a robot arm right now. But while it's necessary, I have to admit it is extremely frustrating seeing them consistently addressing their Defensive holes and completely ignoring their Offensive ones.

Between this continually happening and the volleyball pass/run we were trying to argue was an incomplete pass - the feeling I got was that Daboll was trying to emulate Bill Belichick. Robert Foster is to Brian Daboll as Vlad Ducasse is to Juan Castillo. I don't get it. Save for mop up duty in the 4th Pre-Season game - this guy has shown absolutely nothing. He's got speed but no tracking ability. Yet here we are cutting Corey Coleman, Jeremy Kerley, and a number of guys at other positions. And Robert Foster just keeps climbing the depth chart.

I'm so tired of hearing about this "awful line". Look around the league people - almost everyone's line is bad. Did you see Watson on Sunday? Line play is at an all time worst league wide. It's not something that can be fixed this year. And probably only something that can be upgraded minimally next season. Kid's gonna have to learn to overcome it. If we keep him on ice until the line is sufficient for all of you - he'll never see the field.

Technically - 3 roster spots are open, at the moment. But I don't think they're filling up to 90 just to cut down to 53 in a few days. This is just a preliminary cut.

It doesn't need to be said right now and i'm not saying he should say who the starter is. I have no problem with saying little to nothing at all, ala Belichick. What i'm saying is it's goofy to take it to the other extreme. With McCarron obviously hurt, 2nd opinion notwithstanding, and underperforming regardless - it sounds stupid saying it's still a 3 way competition, if it isn't a broken bone. We're splitting hairs anyways. My main point is I hate when McDermott's coach speak lends itself to eye rolls.

So do you truly believe, at this juncture, it's still a 3 QB race? He can not answer the question or be vague without saying that McCarron is on equal ground with Allen and Peterman. That's too much suspension of disbelief for me.

I hate when "coach speak" makes McDermott sound dumb. Even if AJ were fine, which he pretty obviously isn't, he can't truly feel that all 3 are still equal atm. Moving this competition along at it's absolute slowest, one would still conclude it's at least between Allen and Peterman right now.
