  1. Thank you. We have like 5 of these "find me" threads. Hop on Google and the Draft sites.
  2. I worry that he's using us for leverage with Miami. When a former player goes back to his old team, it generally just gets announced as a done deal after they've taken other visits. I find it odd that they're making a point to say he'll 'visit' us after he visits Miami. It reads to me like he's saying "Buffalo's got the best offer. Beat it and i'm yours".
  3. Would not surprise me in the least if they went into the year with the WR depth chart looking like - Sammy Watkins Andre Holmes 'Philly' Brown Kolby Listenbee Brandon Tate Especially if they were to draft O.J. Howard to pair with Charles Clay.
  4. Wouldn't shock me at all to see them go into the year with Sammy Watkins, Andre Holmes, 'Philly' Brown, and Kolby Listenbee as their top 4 WR's.
  5. Man - we're striking out a LOT lately
  6. Wow - nice job holding on to him Whales! I'm really surprised they offered him so little to be their starter.
  7. ... what the hell? How does a deal get filed with the NFLPA if there isn't one?
  8. I think you're underselling him. I'm pretty sure Holmes is our WR2. And it's pretty hilarious to me that everyone's worried about WR. Then we sign a good one and everyone's worried about the comp picks.
  9. That sucks - I wanted Hunter back. But play catch with Tyrod Taylor or play catch with Ben Roethlisberger? That's a no brainer.
  10. Nope. If someone signs Touchdown Mike - we get a 5th. But nothing for Groy.
  11. @mikerodak: The Rams have agreed to extend Bills restricted FA center Ryan Groy a two-year offer sheet, per @caplannfl & me. Bills have 5 days to match @mikerodak: Ryan Groy would reunite with Aaron Kromer with Rams and likely start at center. Expect $$ from Rams offer to match that situation. Sounds like they'll have to choose between him or Eric Wood. And i'm sure they'll keep Wood. But it's definitely worth a discussion. It's probably too steep to keep them both if the Rams offer is starting Center money.
  12. Agreed on all fronts. Zach writing the Bills off to Preston on Twitter prior to the start of the Free Agency combined with him still being unsigned leads me to believe he's asking for too much. ... and yeah, Preston Brown has been uninspiring to me since the day he came in. A little better than Kelvin Sheppard.
  13. This sucks. I wanted Juszczyk.
  14. This better be one helluva restructure. With the ability to get out from under it after this season. And DeShaun Watson or Patrick Mahomes II better be drafted.
  15. I just keep hoping Houston is dumb and doesn't pursue him. If Houston's in - that's that. Maybe i'm being duped. But Vance Joseph and John Elway seemed pretty genuine to me when they said it'll be Trevor Siemian or Paxton Lynch. And KC has slammed the door on Romo emphatically everytime it's brought up. I honestly think we'd have a shot if Houston was out.
  16. If he buys a house, it COULD be relevant. But there were a couple ex players that built their homes here and played elsewhere - so it wouldn't 100% guarantee a done deal. But looking? He could simply be looking in the event his option gets picked up. That doesn't mean a thing.
  17. Ugh. This. So many times this. And i'm not proud of myself for it. Idk what's the risk at this point? You'd be bringing him in as a rebuild project. Definitely not a starter. And if he does something stupid - you cut him.
  18. Yes. But what does standing pat do? If you're not swinging, you're never hitting a Home Run. And isn't that what we ultimately want to do? Or do we want to just sneak into the Postseason like Miami this year and get spanked Wild Card weekend? Taylor will be going into his 7th season and his 3rd full year as a starter. You don't make significant strides in your game this late in your career as a passer. He is what he is and it's not good enough. Especially if you're going to put significant money into him. Worst case scenario if Taylor goes is we get to see what 12 Gauge has and we'll put that money into the Defense. And if Cardale shows nothing - we'll get the USC QB everyone's clamoring over in Indy today.
  19. Aw man - god forbid we go 3-13 instead of 7-9 or 8-8. We might actually have a shot at a legitimate QB. I don't understand why this team is so afraid of bottoming out. Mediocrity is worse than a rebuild, in my opinion. It's like they think not being 32nd in the league is some sort of victory. By bottoming out - you have a chance to move forward. Tyrod staying will keep us in the middle. Where we've been for well over a decade.
  20. And that excuses him consistently not seeing the WR's and TE's that were on the field getting open? Watch an All-22 from last year. Any. The Defense certainly played a part. I don't think you'll hear anyone argue against that. But Monday Night in Seattle - the Defense put Taylor in position to win the game. If it's all on the Defense, why did they lose that game? And it's funny that you took Shady's name right out of my mouth. Maybe because you expected it and you expected it because it's true. Fact is - when you have the #1 Rushing attack in the league, having the WORST passing attack is all the more damning. When you can run, it's much easier to pass. And Taylor made it look very hard. *head against wall* How do the kids put it these days? "I literally can't even right now"..... Being better than straight up trash doesn't make someone good. Tyrod Taylor is a step up from what they've had at times, yes. But it's still not good enough. Who will replace him? I don't know for sure. But I can tell you one thing - there is worlds more available to the Bills in FA and the Draft then there was two years ago when we were in a similar situation. And that year they found someone no one was talking about in Tyrod Taylor. I have faith they can find better in FA and/or the Draft this year. And if Tyrod Taylor flames out on another team or we go through another year of mediocrity because we kept him - i'll remember people like you and hope not to hear sorry excuses like "so and so was hurt" and "he can't pass but he helps the run game".
  21. People look at Taylor's stats without comparing them to the rest of the league. They see little to no INT's but don't see it's because he hardly ever throws the ball unless someone is wide open and sitting in their route. They see his completion percentage but don't see that much more than half of those completions are dumpoffs that RB's got all the yards on. They see two Pro Bowls but they don't pay attention to how many QB's had to pass before they came to Taylor. They see him evading sacks in an elite fashion. But they neglect to mention evading sacks doesn't put points on the board. And that part of the reason he's so good at evading sacks is because he gives up on plays and starts scrambling early most of the time. The national media sees Buffalo Bills and thinks we should be happy if we have a QB who can get us to 8-8. If Tyrod Taylor was QB of the Dallas Cowboys or New York Giants - the media would be talking completely differently. I'm baffled that so many of you are so adamant that the QB who led his offense to DEAD LAST in the league in passing needs to come back and we're screwed if he doesn't. Especially when you consider there was much less available to us in FA and in the Draft when they came up with an unknown QB named Tyrod Taylor.
  22. Wonder if we're one of them. And if Miami would be willing to trade him to us. And what it means if they are.
  23. Starting to wonder if he came back because the good people of Cleveland quietly ran him out of town.
