I'm not fully convinced. He had a great staff and a great QB when they were winning SBs. But he had to have full control of everything and you see what that got. My question with Bill is how much is him and how much was Ernie Adams, his strategy guru?

A lot of QBs do pretty well at first. The real test is when other DCs figure you out, especially your limitations. Duck Hodges comes to mind. He was the s**t for a while. Remember his game against the Bills? Pretty much where his fairly tale ended.
