“Two of the likeliest candidates to be gone are the two star defenders, Khalil Mack, and Joey Bosa. Not only are Mack and Bosa the two of the highest-profile players on the team, but they are also the highest-paid. Mack has a cap hit of $38.5 million for 2024 while Bosa costs the Chargers $36.6 million.” These are cuts. No one will pick up these contracts.

Your Top UFA Targets for Free Agency Monday
Jimmy Harris 69 replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
Let’s try on Van Jefferson. -
Let’s have a look at Van Jefferson. He is fast, decent route runner. His career has stalled. A great QB could make him what the Rams thought he could be.

The NFL can be cold sometimes
Jimmy Harris 69 replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall
Really? The median worldwide income is $2,800 per year according to Giving What We Can. That means half the households in America makes more than 25 times the median worldwide income. Are we going to cry about our first world problems in this stupid football column? If you don’t like your job get a new one. These modern Roman gladiators enter this profession eyes open. Sex, fame, glory and riches. Oh my boo hoo. -
This is not the right question. Which franchise has had a better head coach, offensive game plan and a big game defensive coordinator during the last seven years ? Kansas City—we all know. The plan and the pieces Andy Reid put around Mahomes has made ALL the difference offensively. Spagnuolo has stopped the patriot machine, the niners, the bills. We don’t have a defense that can beat The chiefs in the playoffs. The winner of the trade is Pat Mahomes. His career would be distinctly different anywhere else, even in BFO.

How clutch was Josh in 2023? No other QB even came close
Jimmy Harris 69 replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall
This kid will get his trophy. He is just too good. I’m doubtful that it will be with McD. Dude still wants to win 20 to 17 in a league that is more interested in 31 to 28. -
Chiefs are just better than the Bills
Jimmy Harris 69 replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall
We do a BIG reload and come back for another go at the champs. It’s time to get younger. Teams like the Chiefs and Rams have shown it’s possible to get younger and maintain quality. Are McBean willing to trust younger players? Are they brave enough to move on from Miller, Diggs, Hyde and White so that three years from now we can have cap room again? Is it crazy to think Josh passed up Diggs on the crossing against KC because he dropped a sure touchdown shortly before? Point is, that kid is not worth 31 million. We aren’t going to nickel and dime our way out of this. Slavish devotion the old thinking has not got us past the divisional round. We have Josh Allen , he makes every receiver a potential all pro. KC has been bold and they have three trophies. We traded the chance to have the best quarterback in football for the chance to have a cornerback. -
Will Derrick Henry be a Bill in 2024?
Jimmy Harris 69 replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
The idea of having King Henry in your backfield is great, the financial reality is not. We don’t need a running back version of Von Miller. He will patch together some terrific games but he will disappear. Cook should be on the field more, not less. Unfortunately Coach feels the need to punish the team by taking Cook off the field for making mistakes. I agree with other posts about Ty Johnson if we can afford him, bring him back. Overall we must get younger and faster on offense. There is no room for one dimensional guys like Tyler Matakevich or Latavious Murray taking up roster spots. Keep that rookie “speed merchant” on your active roster as another weapon for your all pro QB. All the resources McD poured into his poor special teams could have made his offense what—-10 or 15% better. That wins games instead of losing them to Guy Smiley. Not that I care. I don’t even like the Bills. Stupid divisional round bumblers. -
Should the Bills trade up for their own “Julio Jones”
Jimmy Harris 69 replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall
Lest we forget, the bills traded up for the “privilege “of drafting Zay Jones instead of selecting Cooper Kupp. Zay’s dad was a coach on the bills, which probably blinded our talent scout. Kupp has an insane rookie year while Jones has a regular insane year. -
The Bills' abject lack of a deep middle passing game
Jimmy Harris 69 replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is an instructive stat, it indicates a need for deep speed to me. Though as the KC playoff game showed, unless there is a catch at the end, deep incompletions can leave you wanting completion of a nice 7 yard crossing route on 2nd down. -
Joe Brady Officially Promoted as Bills OC!
Jimmy Harris 69 replied to K D's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is a good move. The offense produced WELL after having serious problems. It reflects well on Brady that a mid season change went. We saw Kincaid go downfield, Shakier become more important and cook become a more complete player. Besides the Steelers interviewed Arthur Smith, would you like a block head like that? Go Joe! -
The last 5 years of Bills football
Jimmy Harris 69 replied to C.Biscuit97's topic in The Stadium Wall
The multi-verse shows us just how poor Sean McDermott’s football prospective really is: McDermott traded the best quarterback in the league —-Pat Mahomes, for a cornerback, Tre White. White will be out of the league next year. Mahomes has kept us out of the championship for the last five years, having NOT been stopped by Tre White or the rest of Sean’s piss poor play off defense. Sean thinks he’s George Halas, but he’s only John Rauch. -
It would be great for the defense to have a young voice like Babich. It’s hard to see 13 letting him make that jump because he’s not 1000 years old. Pray I’m wrong again.

Hamlin officially wins PFWA Comeback Player of the Year
Jimmy Harris 69 replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is not personal, no doubt Damar Hamlin is a stand up man. He has been blessed to resume his career and received a lot of recognition for not giving up after his near death experience. I’m sure there was an award they could given Damar for that achievement. It just isn’t fair to those who resuscitated their career and played at a HIGH LEVEL among their peers to not get their appropriate recognition. It’s indicative of the fake woke NFL, that runs itself on the misery of degenerate gamblers. -

Hamlin officially wins PFWA Comeback Player of the Year
Jimmy Harris 69 replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
The award has traditional recognized excellence on the field, apparently no more. The NFL is so entangled in feel good, identity politics and programming that upon nomination this was fait accompli. -
Sunday’s Loss Was Just a Replay of the Win in KC
Jimmy Harris 69 replied to st pete gogolak's topic in The Stadium Wall
Their receivers came through in a victory, ours dropped 120 yards and a touchdown. I’d hire Brady as my head coach tomorrow if he interviewed well or Eric Bienemy. Don’t get me started on Coach 13. Since 13 isnt going anywhere, we need a brand new set of wideouts. Move on from Diggs, he is old and expensive. The market will not be robust for Davis, he might be affordable. Draft two and add an FA and Bob’s your uncle. -
13 won’t fire himself so smiley ——ga—bye bye
-
It’s early Floyd might be available later. I still say we cut loose Von in March and save 6 million this year—-dead cap be damned. He will get his first sack in November or December. Too little —too late. Follow the rams, they cut loose the old and brought in kids, still had a pretty good D. Coach will have to to get off the old vet BS.

How do you explain Diggs invisibility act
Jimmy Harris 69 replied to Coldfronts's topic in The Stadium Wall
It’s time to move on from Diggs. Trade him to someone with lots of cap space; we might have to include picks but it’s worth it to be free of the contract and the attitude. Bring in some kids, FA’s. -
Beane & McDermott end of season press conferences
Jimmy Harris 69 replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is the season to move on from Diggs, no choice on Miller. Admit failure and move on. Maybe Hyde will play on a one year deal, who knows ? All that assumes Mr. 13 seconds will be back as coach. I’m dreaming. Most likely, little will change, we will win but not a championship. This coach will never get us there. He had his chance in ‘21. That was it. We will literally have to suffer several more years of his garbage pressers and excuses. Unless Reid retires or has a stroke, we are stuck on the 13th floor. (See what I did there?) -
How about the D-line? 1 sack in two playoff games
Jimmy Harris 69 replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
Von scheduled to count for nearly $24 million on the Bills’ 2024 salary cap, a $6.435 million portion of his $17+ million base salary will become guaranteed on March 18. A post-June 1 cut will leave the Bills with $17+ million in dead money in 2024 and $15.4 million in 2025. I don’t see how you keep Miller on the roster. The Rams showed that drafting young players and dumping contracts beats keeping dead weight on the roster. It was a great idea that failed. -
Why is Diggs coming off the field on Third Downs?
Jimmy Harris 69 replied to vtnatefootball11's topic in The Stadium Wall
Without a doubt the guy is hurt. They are being coy so that every DB in the league doesn’t drill the affected area when he is tackled. This is a super competitive, egotistical superstar who gets millions for yards, catches and TDs. The only thing that would limit his usage is his body. Guys play through all kinds of serious injuries that create limits on the practice field and on Sunday. We’ve heard McD talk all around it, it won’t be addressed fully until the off season. Then there will be a collective ahhhhh, he played with that??? -

Once upon a time when I was younger I'd be pissed
Jimmy Harris 69 replied to Returntoglory's topic in The Stadium Wall
Sean McDermott has officially lost me. Gabe Davis…..lost me. ken Dorsey ditto. I’m trying not to care because all the nfl cares about us gambling, not fans. It is pro wrestling now. BUT why must we always lose sometimes! Aaargh
