It would be great for the defense to have a young voice like Babich. It’s hard to see 13 letting him make that jump because he’s not 1000 years old. Pray I’m wrong again.

Hamlin officially wins PFWA Comeback Player of the Year
Jimmy Harris 69 replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is not personal, no doubt Damar Hamlin is a stand up man. He has been blessed to resume his career and received a lot of recognition for not giving up after his near death experience. I’m sure there was an award they could given Damar for that achievement. It just isn’t fair to those who resuscitated their career and played at a HIGH LEVEL among their peers to not get their appropriate recognition. It’s indicative of the fake woke NFL, that runs itself on the misery of degenerate gamblers. -

Hamlin officially wins PFWA Comeback Player of the Year

The award has traditional recognized excellence on the field, apparently no more. The NFL is so entangled in feel good, identity politics and programming that upon nomination this was fait accompli. -
Sunday’s Loss Was Just a Replay of the Win in KC
Jimmy Harris 69 replied to st pete gogolak's topic in The Stadium Wall
Their receivers came through in a victory, ours dropped 120 yards and a touchdown. I’d hire Brady as my head coach tomorrow if he interviewed well or Eric Bienemy. Don’t get me started on Coach 13. Since 13 isnt going anywhere, we need a brand new set of wideouts. Move on from Diggs, he is old and expensive. The market will not be robust for Davis, he might be affordable. Draft two and add an FA and Bob’s your uncle. -
13 won’t fire himself so smiley ——ga—bye bye

It’s early Floyd might be available later. I still say we cut loose Von in March and save 6 million this year—-dead cap be damned. He will get his first sack in November or December. Too little —too late. Follow the rams, they cut loose the old and brought in kids, still had a pretty good D. Coach will have to to get off the old vet BS.

How do you explain Diggs invisibility act
Jimmy Harris 69 replied to Coldfronts's topic in The Stadium Wall
It’s time to move on from Diggs. Trade him to someone with lots of cap space; we might have to include picks but it’s worth it to be free of the contract and the attitude. Bring in some kids, FA’s. -
Beane & McDermott end of season press conferences
Jimmy Harris 69 replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is the season to move on from Diggs, no choice on Miller. Admit failure and move on. Maybe Hyde will play on a one year deal, who knows ? All that assumes Mr. 13 seconds will be back as coach. I’m dreaming. Most likely, little will change, we will win but not a championship. This coach will never get us there. He had his chance in ‘21. That was it. We will literally have to suffer several more years of his garbage pressers and excuses. Unless Reid retires or has a stroke, we are stuck on the 13th floor. (See what I did there?) -
How about the D-line? 1 sack in two playoff games
Jimmy Harris 69 replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
Von scheduled to count for nearly $24 million on the Bills’ 2024 salary cap, a $6.435 million portion of his $17+ million base salary will become guaranteed on March 18. A post-June 1 cut will leave the Bills with $17+ million in dead money in 2024 and $15.4 million in 2025. I don’t see how you keep Miller on the roster. The Rams showed that drafting young players and dumping contracts beats keeping dead weight on the roster. It was a great idea that failed. -
Why is Diggs coming off the field on Third Downs?
Jimmy Harris 69 replied to vtnatefootball11's topic in The Stadium Wall
Without a doubt the guy is hurt. They are being coy so that every DB in the league doesn’t drill the affected area when he is tackled. This is a super competitive, egotistical superstar who gets millions for yards, catches and TDs. The only thing that would limit his usage is his body. Guys play through all kinds of serious injuries that create limits on the practice field and on Sunday. We’ve heard McD talk all around it, it won’t be addressed fully until the off season. Then there will be a collective ahhhhh, he played with that??? -

Once upon a time when I was younger I'd be pissed
Jimmy Harris 69 replied to Returntoglory's topic in The Stadium Wall
Sean McDermott has officially lost me. Gabe Davis…..lost me. ken Dorsey ditto. I’m trying not to care because all the nfl cares about us gambling, not fans. It is pro wrestling now. BUT why must we always lose sometimes! Aaargh -
Unfortunately 13 (coach McD) is meddling to save his undermanned defense, and is just making things worse. It’s maddening that he doesn’t trust a wide open offense to take the pressure off his defense. He chooses complementary football” which is code for conservative football. Hunker down, don’t take risks and play the percentages. Well—-we are on the losing end of one score games. If wants to play ball control, why don’t his coaches create effective running plays? Just copy San Francisco or better, hire a guy who knows how. His defense would be ok now if we had traded for a linebacker at the deadline. What good are 11 picks next year? His thinking is old, not in line with the rules in place. Instead of putting more talented athletic linebackers on the roster he spends millions on one dimensional special teamers (meanwhile the nfl is eliminating kick returns by rule). He is a good human being and an excellent coach, but he is not going to get us to the SB. The Bills are wasting golden time while 13 stubbornly grips the past.

The Big Win Effect - Dolphins Beware
Jimmy Harris 69 replied to theRalph's topic in The Stadium Wall
Miami scored 24 against a good New England Defense. That game is more of a comparable, as are the thriller three—-Bills-Dolphins from 2022. These teams will score 75–combined. The Denver game is an outlier. Denver is now officially playing for a first overall pick. The Russ trade will go down historically as Hershel Walker part two, or the New Orleans 99 draft class for Ricky Williams, or heck —-Rodgers to jets. This is a better Bills defense. If it’s combined with a patient offense, everybody at stadium gets a tuna melt on Sunday 😕 -
Is Josh a mediocre QB right now? And does it matter?
Jimmy Harris 69 replied to Beck Water's topic in The Stadium Wall
This offense is still too committed to +25 yard plays despite good defenses taking away these plays since the middle of last year. The Bills spent big money on small fast receivers, yet we see Davis out there for the majority of snaps so he can run block, pretend to run block or run time consuming routes. Shorter patterns utilizing the middle of the field would cut down on the hero ball tendencies. Josh ignored open receivers underneath and heaved interceptions against NY. He is not being coached correctly. The coaches preach patience in public statements but the offense is still out of sink. The bills still can’t seem to draw up a successful running play. Watch the 49ers or other teams that run well. Copy their techniques if we can’t design our own. Why does our running game stink? First down was a horror show on Monday. Get out of the booth Dorsey and get up close and personal with our $200M QB. Wake up!!! -
So Who will our next DC be? Tracker Links
Jimmy Harris 69 replied to PrimeTime101's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Bills are really standing on their head to make this Leslie’s idea. Nothing to see here. He wanted to go…don’t you see? And he can come back whenever he wants…..meantime we’ll make do with Al whatshisnuts. Anything but Sean admitting Frazier is not the guy. Keeping him after “13 seconds in KC” , only to fall flat at home against the dolphins and the bengals….it’s so Billsey. -

Why not give Hines a shot at receiver? Speed. Good YAC potential. He is making $4.8m (?); reasonable for a receiver. -
The Bengals out coached Buffalo on offense and defense. When the team falters Coach gets tight and reverts to his default—-timid plans and rigid adherence to stopping long passes. Meanwhile the Bengals threw fast and short and ran down our throat. Our offensive plan was too obsessed with 30 yard gains, no will to run, no willingness to change protections to help Josh succeed or get the ball out fast. This backyard ball is not an offense. What in the h@ll do they do all week? And please, this “we were spent”is such crap. Good coaching means adjusting to conditions as they are—-not some pre-conceived notion.
