There's only one thing that can save this season now...
MiracleAtRich1393 replied to BillsPride12's topic in The Stadium Wall
And unfortunately unless those two losses are against Philly & Dallas, we probably still lose out on conference tie breaker sitting at 2-5 currently. Letting Mack Jones, Russel Wilson, and Zack Wilson come back to win will haunt. Would have been way better to have lost to TB, NYG, and WAS than those AFC scrubs. I'm only confident on making it with a 6-1 finish -

It's a pretty stacked WR class at the top, lots of guys in the 6'2"-6'4" 200-220 lb range with long speed, burst, change of direction ability, and hands. Reminds me of the 2014 draft a bit. Gotta grab one! Boom easy Gabe upgrade. Then go RT next and draft another receiver later as Shakir insurance & a Harty/Sherfield uprade. It's so easy a baby could do it!

Got a 5th rounder back. So a late 3rd rounder for a higher 5th rounder. Moving back 1.5 rounds rather than giving up a 3rd. Plus we have the Tremaine comp pick 3rd rounder. Seems extremely cheap, no-brainer to me

Best Bills Cornerback of all time?
MiracleAtRich1393 replied to GerstAusGosheim's topic in The Stadium Wall
He's not on the list (and not the best) but in the spirit of Remembering Some Guys, I always like Thomas Smith. I was young but I remember him as a CB that couldn't catch but always seemed sticky on his man and a PBU machine. Middle school me could be totally off on him though haha -

Milano and Daquan to IR. Klein signed.

DaQuan is so important to this defense, makes the run D better, the LB's better, and the pass rush better. REALLY hope he can come back before it's too late -
Trade deadline needs what are your priorities

Terry McLaurin or a WR with speed of that caliber -
A trade is the only way to save the season
MiracleAtRich1393 replied to Milanos Milano's topic in The Stadium Wall
With the fully healthy defense wreaking havoc getting other teams off the field early & often giving the offense short fields and leads to build on you could make the argument we didn't need more explosiveness surrounding Allen. But the D is so weak and able to be exposed now, need to strike fear in the opposition and have the ability to put up 30+ on the regular or we'll miss the playoffs completely. With that said, if a guy like Terry McLaurin is even a remote possibility I hope we pursue it. I'd give up close to what we sent out for Diggs, given his age and reasonable contract going forward. We have the extra 3rd & 6th this year and I want a stud WR in R1 anyway, McLaurin could be it instead. Need that speed and top tier receiving ability ASAP -
Yeah I hope Poona can at minimum make himself a space eating 1T because we need it desperately. Been disappointed as well, thought he was a great depth signing. Terrible timing on Ankou getting poached from the PS. Really hope Daquan can make it back near peak form for the playoffs! He was a huge missing piece in the Bengals loss

I was always in the camp of he's good for what he's asked to do which is zone coverage and if he's covered up by great DTs then he can be serviceable at run support, but I live in Chicago and he's been HIGHLY exposed this year. Bears fans love their MLB's, and I got several texts last night from casual Bears fans along the lines of "what's up with Edmunds did we get a lemon and you didn't tell us??" I was a major Bernard skeptic going into the season but the guy just has it. He's a MIKE Milano. Edmunds is a robot out there, and to me it looks like he's at the point where he almost doesn't even care now that he got paid. Gotta give Beane & McDermott huge credit on this one.

The Big Win Effect - Dolphins Beware
MiracleAtRich1393 replied to theRalph's topic in The Stadium Wall
Game 1 we had Jaquan Johnson, Damar Hamlin, Dane Jackson, and Tremaine Edmunds covering Hill & Waddle plus the backup o-line for an already bad O-line in 130 degree heat. Games 2 & 3 we had a shell of Tre White plus no Von Miller. Replace Jaquan/Hamlin with Poyer/Hyde, Dane with good Tre, Tremaine with a promising matchup LB Bernard, Leonard Floyd in for the Von Miller void, add O'Cyrus/McGovern to the OLine, Kincaid to keep the chains moving, and a UCL for Josh plus 75 & sunny and I'm feeling pretty good -

Singular point imo when Josh started regressing

I'd be interested to see the offense's efficiency out of shotgun vs. under center. Seemed like towards the end of 2021 and into the playoffs with the 9 TDs zero INTs he went under center a lot more and the run game benefitted plus he was lethal on play action. Now we seem to be in shotgun 80%+ and it appears easier to defend. Could be wrong I don't have the data but seems that way on eye test -
Sunday ticket advance prices released
MiracleAtRich1393 replied to Xwnyer's topic in The Stadium Wall
Intriguing, thanks for the tip! I'm looking into this now how does it work, you access a local feed from wherever the game is being broadcast as opposed to going through youtube sunday ticket? Anyone have idea how they skirt broadcasting laws and is there risk it gets shut down? -
Love the Kincaid & Torrence picks and Williams looks nice but he's behind Milano when we needed a MLB and Bernard/Spector can fit a Milano backup role already. Would rather have had Darnell Washington at 93 and a real MIKE with blitzing ability like a Sirvocea Dennis at 150. Shorter could have been had in the Nick Broeker/Alex Austin spot (or as a UDFA) IMO. This is mostly moot if Williams can play MLB. I just loved the Darnell Washington potential to pair that beastly frame up with Knox & Kincaid and if you're not going to take a top tier LB I like sticking with day 3 for that position, it's becoming like RB for me.

Steelers radio debates signing Tremaine Edmunds
MiracleAtRich1393 replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bills signing Terrell to a $6-7mm/year contract to pair with a day 3 safety pick seems more likely to me than the Steelers peeling Tremaine away from us -
Updated Beasley signing to practice squad
MiracleAtRich1393 replied to Niagara Dude's topic in The Stadium Wall
Wouldn't keeping Isaiah Hodgins have been the better option if this was a skill set they felt the roster was lacking? Possession receiver that just catches the first down yardage with no YAC but is in his athletic prime with a much larger catch radius & huge hands. Bummed we couldn't find room for him over a guy like Baylon Spector or Jaquan Johnson.
