  1. I was all aboard the Franklin train. New information changed my opinion. Very disappointed in how that all turned out for him across the board
  2. A D. all day if we stay at #28 and he's still available
  3. $500k dead cap vs. $4.5mil savings. No brainer cut
  4. Agreed, I think McCokey can eventually play outside at Z like Diggs but we need an X. If someone can convince me there's a Gabe upgrade at X later in the draft I can be convinced on Ladd earlier as an ultra slot/Z rotation piece early on that could take over for Diggs at Z in a couple years. Never opposed to more weapons. Have to walk away with an alpha height weight speed upgrade at X this draft at bare minimum though, that's my priority I'm also intrigued that he was a kick returner, need some sauce & instincts on top of speed for that. Eric Moulds started out as KR too
  5. Yes, checks all the boxes for me now. Age, frame, route running, hands, deep speed, explosiveness, ability to be an immediate Gabe upgrade with potential to be a #1 in 2-3 years as Diggs rolls off
  6. Yet they felt the need to jump us all the same 🤷
  7. How bout trades to get all 4 'horns (2x WR & 2x IDL) and call it a draft
  8. Starter at 28, succession planning at #60
  9. And Rashee Rice last year
  10. Legit worst case scenario. If they trade Sneed they'll have more than enough ammo to do so if they please
  11. With his jumps, hands, route running, and size he's instantly my #1 outside the top 3. Hot damn!!! Fine trading up for him into the teens
  12. Maason Smith in 3rd plus Jordan Jefferson at 1T day on 3, who says no? The poor man's Sweat/Murphy 1T/3T college running mate duo?
  13. Re-sign Jonnu Smith & Hunter Henry for $20mil/year each
  14. Sorry I misunderstood! I'd do #28, 2024 3rd & 5th, and our 2025 2nd if the right guy was there. Or... if a team like the Seahawks or Saints want a man corner with some experience and upside, Elam instead of the '24 3rd
  15. I literally said what I'd give up in the post you quoted 🤣
  16. Totally agree. Plus they have Sneed on the trade block for a first. They could vault into the top 10 easily or get 2 quality WRs in the next tier. I really think we need to get one of the top 3 wideouts just to stay even with them. I'm fine giving up #28, next year's first, next year's third with an assumed comp pick coming back like this year, our combined three extra 5ths & 6ths this year, plus a player. Then draft another WR in second or third round who would be ready to blossom as a #2 to Nabers' #1 as Diggs transitions to a lesser role or retires. Every other need can be addressed with bargain FAs, day 3 picks, and UDFAs. A guy like Nabers would be a difference-making stud for a decade+ Unfortunately Fiske is 24 years old and has 31" arms or I'd be drooling
  17. Troy Franklin, so many highlights where he takes a short/intermediate pass, hits a seam and no one can catch him from behind
  18. I'd like to see Franklin hit the magic # on the bench. He's my #1 outside of the top 3 but if he can't pass the commonly-held threshold (can't recall what it is, 9? 10?) I'd get concerned he'd be too vulnerable vs. press coverage
  19. KC sent us less to go from 27 to #10 for Mahomes, plus like I said Schoen owes us. Malik Nabers come on down LFGGGGGG
  20. If I'm trading next year's 1st and this year's 2nd I'm including #28 and Elam to get in the top 7 for Nabers Looking at this draft chart, getting up to #6 with the Giants is not crazy. If Elam is worth a third (~200), 2025 first worth ~400, that gets you to Minnesota at #11. Swap this year's 2nd for NYG's 4th (net 225) and I think we've got ourselves a deal. Schoen owes us! Malik Nabers you ARE a Buffalo Bill https://www.drafttek.com/NFL-Trade-Value-Chart.asp?RequestTeam=Buf
  21. My ideal would be a high upside deep threat X receiver R1 then a versatile inside/outside guy R2 (like a Polk/Roman Wilson/McKonkey). Trade up in both rounds of that's what it takes to secure both. Use all chips at your disposal (the extra 5th/6ths this year, future expected comp picks, Elam, etc.) to make it happen. Give Josh an arsenal that's versatile, complete, high end, and stacked with depth to control for injury risk.
