  1. Don't even care about getting 182 back, pull the trigger on this if it's there!
  2. Yes, OLine early over RB every damn day. Take as many day 3 shots on RB as you want but please no more premium picks on RB
  3. Take a gander at who the Browns drafted with their Julio Jones haul. Atlanta won that trade by a LONG shot
  4. Unless they have inside info that he's cooked, trading him inside the AFC to an ascending playoff team with a bidding star QB for essentially a late third round pick when considering the picks we gave back was assinine
  5. Cleveland turned this into: Phil Taylor Greg Little Owen Marecic Brandon Weeden James-Michael Johnson LOL
  6. Did he update his testing at his pro day or just weigh?
  7. at #12 it would probably only cost this year's first, next year's first, and maybe one of our late 4th/early 5th this year? Then you could use later round 2024 picks to trade into next year (we shouldn't make 10+ picks this year anyway) and have a bevy of picks then to move up and replace some of the 2025 1st round value lost. If Odunze is a true X difference maker for Josh for years to come, will anyone care?
  8. Jalen Coker from Holy Cross. I know I only see highlights but he high points really well and seems to pull down very tough catches
  9. If Nabers is there I think a team with a ton of holes that need more picks like the Giants or Bears would make the deal with us. For #6 could probably go: 2024 R1 (#28) 2024 R4 (#128) 2024 R5 (#144) 2024 R6 (#189) 2025 R1 (TBD) 2025 R3 (TBD) 2025 R4 (TBD) Less obviously if it's for #9. That leaves us with minimum 7 picks remaining this year (remember only 3 of our picks last year made the roster plus Shorter on "IR") plus 6 picks next year when our comp picks hit. And Josh gets a Ferrari on a rookie deal for the next five years. Everyone wins.
  10. Totally agree on the McGovern smokescreen. I think they're looking at C high, potentially at #28 or early 2nd with a trade back. I'm fine with that IF they clear more cap and make a trade for a guy like Courtland Sutton then take advantage of the WR class depth by taking an upside freak on day 2 and another on day 3
  11. This is why I would make a huge move up as far as #6 if Nabers is still there. I think he will be elite in short order for the next 8 years or so, the first half of which would be on a cost-controlled deal. Will have to use some resources to make it happen of course, but I don't see us obtaining another "elite" WR via free agency any time soon, so make it happen through the draft.
  12. 5th & 6th for Sutton I hope Beane hammers that
  13. Anyone feel any different after the dust settled? Pretty sure with Allen, Dawkins, and Taron Johnson extensions we can get way under the cap now. A reasonable trade for a vet X like Sutton at $12mil fits easily. Sign a starting quality 1Tech, a serviceable starting FS, and some cost-conscious depth then we're set at every starting position on both sides of the ball and can go BPA across the board on draft day, take several swings at WRs with upside whether that be X, Z, or slot, but not pressured to get an immediate starting X at #28 or feel the need to trade up.
  14. A $17mil cap hit for the *Broncos* if they keep him. Less for the acquiring team
  15. How much would Sutton cost in a trade in terms of picks? $12mil is fine for a quality veteran X and totally doable, bird in hand, it's a Gabe upgrade for equal or lesser $ Then we can go best WR available on day 1 or 2 rather than trying to force an X, and draft a developmental X later I'm into it if the pick capital isn't too steep
  16. Maybe a chess move, lulling DBs into complacency? Just thinking outside the bun here
  17. I kinda hope not, dude has short arms and can't bench, could see him get owned by long-armed DTs blowing up pass plays instantly. Doesn't matter what your 40 time is at center if you lose leverage right away
  18. Interesting. Honest question I haven't watched anything but highlights, did they take plays off in the playoffs? Were they potentially doing it in college to preserve themselves for the pro pay day? Is that a thing?
  19. Let's not overthink this. Just do whatever it takes to trade up for Nabers or Rome and laugh all the way to the bank
  20. I like Austin Reed. Bit of a funky throwing motion but has 50+ starts, a nice frame and some decent wheels. Could get by with him in a pinch for a game or 2 on a cheap deal for the next four years
  21. Yep this is obviously the year the IOL goes down FMLLL I'd rather have a high quality versatile IOL depth piece that knows our system inside & out than another rotational DE
  22. Yeah he's got great hands and subtlety in his routes. Now add on the measurables from this weekend and I'm all in on him
  23. I'm getting shades of the Kaiir notebook here...
