  1. Zay Jones 2017 and for a split second, one shining moment, I thought we had traded up for DK Metcalf instead of Cody Ford until the card was read aloud. In my alternate mindscape that's still what happened
  2. Pretty sure he's first alternate along with Diggs? https://www.instagram.com/p/C1qLybbrOoz/?igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
  3. If we're organically picking at #32 they could take the next coming of Cody Ford or Boogie Basham in round one for the next decade straight IDGAF
  4. Don't give them any good ideas!
  5. And a post June 1 *trade* saves $17mil on 2024 cap... hmmm... any cap rich team dumb enough to take that on for a late round pick swap (we send the better pick)? Carolina?
  6. https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/Player/Xavier-Worthy-WR-Texas Does this guy really run in the 4.2s?? Would bring us back some of the John Brown/Emmanuel Sanders field stretching. Looks like he has some quality sauce on punt returns too, could add that plus the bring back the jet sweep element to the offense. Only 20 years old too, that bodes really well for receivers. Why does he seem to be late first sometimes early second in most mocks? Hands issues? Limited route tree? Or just his slighter frame in a class stacked with height/weight/speed freaks?
  7. WR 1B plus another depth WR (or two) in the draft
  8. My guy Malik Nabers gives you a lot from both buckets, might as well trade up if he's falling, wouldn't mind sending next year's day 1 or day 2 pick along with several this year if needed
  9. Can another team sign him to their active roster still? Or can we promote him to the active roster every week from here on out without having to use a 53 spot on him, essentially protecting him?
  10. Far less far fetched than the string of things that went right for us this past weekend 🤷‍♂️
  11. Really wish Schwartz was our DCoordinator again. That was my favorite Bills' defense ever, always said if we had an average QB on the other side we would have been legit SB contenders. Looks like the Browns have figured that out...
  12. We lose the division and likely don't get the wild card if we do that. Need to beat Dolphins regardless
  13. https://www.mockdraftable.com/player/hakeem-butler I desperately wanted DK Metcalf and when Beane traded up I thought he went and got him. Alas, it was Cody Ford instead. Thought Hakeem Butler (6'5" 227 4.48) would have been a good consolation prize on day 3. Yikes!
  14. Yep, just like last year vs. Cincy in the divisional round
  15. ^^^this is all that needs to be said on the matter. It's a very good protocol even in a scenario like this
  16. Anyone know the furthest down the list this has ever gotten?
  17. Standing buffalo helmet is the GOAT Not to be confused with the Sabres Goat head logo
  18. One thing McD has proven to do very very well is dismantle rookie/inexperienced QBs (of course some exceptions apply)
  19. Getting DaQuan back for Dallas would be a game changer, really hope that's a realistic possibility
  20. It would take way too much to get him unfortunately. Like basically what the Panthers gave up for #1 last year and we don't have it. It would take less to get Nabers and he's the clear #2 to me. Like a better Jordan Addison. Odunze looks like a saucier Gabe with better hands, Coleman looks like a Demaryius Thomas type, and Legette doing absolutely nothing until he was a super senior is a major red flag to me. Egbuka seems like a technician but less of a field stretcher. If we trade up I hope it's Nabers, if we stand pat I hope it's Odunze or Coleman, if we trade back I hope it's Egbuka, and Legette is a stay away for me unless back of R2 or later.
  21. I was thinking about this, and my take is he's in his head about avoiding a fumble. McD's benchings have created a mistake-avoidance mindset with him rather than playing with a loose mindset feeling the game in the moment. A college hoops coach I love was caught mic'd up in the huddle last week saying something along the lines of "we want to be making aggressive mistakes, not mistakes of avoidance." I thought that was awesome when I heard it. As a coach you want your guys in attack mode and living with TOs that result from it. Otherwise they're making mistakes because they're in their own heads, hesitating in split second high pressure opportunities second guessing themselves, and they're making mistakes anyway as a result but you don't get the upside to go along with it. I think Cook has fallen victim to that with the way McD has treated him with respect to mistakes from his literal very first NFL carry. Might have something to do with the miscommunications we've seen with Josh/Davis and others this year too. Guys not feeling out the option routes but thinking too much about what will happen to them if they make a mistake, then a mistake happens in the split second decision as a result. If so, that's just bad coaching and not the mindset I want pervading the franchise.
  22. https://www.on3.com/teams/kentucky-wildcats/news/kenneth-horsey-declares-for-nfl-draft-opts-out-of-bowl-game-kentucky-football/ We can swap out OC Ken Dorsey for OG Ken Horsey. Thoughts?
