  1. That's the name of one of my fantasy teams.
  2. Actually the guy that intrigues me at RB is D'Ernest Johnson in Cleveland. He's languishing behind Chubb and Hunt and when given the opportunity has performed well in a poorly run organization. He seems like a process guy and has never had any issues off the field as far as I know. As a Moss replacement, it might be worth a 6th or 7th. But I don't think RB is priority one. I'd like to see us lock in OBJ as our main addition. If we are going to spend draft picks, I'd take a look at S Jonathan Abrams of the Raiders or Quandre Diggs of the Seahawks. Solid guys without a big cap hits.
  3. We can fix this with OBJ. Get him in the door. Shakir and MCKenzie can battle with Kumerow for the 4th and 5th spots.
  4. Time to give credit to his coaching and work ethic. Josh always had the physical tools and arm strength, but the mechanics of his throwing motion and footwork were not in sync. Credit the Bills for developing his potential and Josh for having the right attitude and mindset to constantly improve him self. One of our awesome posters put up a video interview of Josh explaining what he learned with Jordan Palmer.
  5. It's a tough call. Playing hockey, I got a concussion when my helmet fell off and my head smashed on the ice in the first period. I was out cold and came too in the locker room. Sat the second period, played the third. Played every game after. Playing football in the back yard, our heads smashed through wooden fences every week. I got tagged helmet to helmet going over the middle to make a catch in college and was down a few seconds. Missed the rest of the half, came back and played in the second half. I'm still doing fine many years later. Maybe players today are bigger and stronger and faster, but you think helmet technology would help alleviate these issues. Seems a concussion in the 80's and 90's when I played was not a big deal and no one got them simply falling to the ground and banging your head off the turf. We did that 10 times a game in my day, and in the playground without wearing helmets. Today, it seems to be so much more serious. What happened to people's heads that they can't take a good hit now a days. Something changed and it's not for the better.
  6. Thanks I got my Bills IV and put that juice in my blood. So sweet.
  7. Great thread and great responses. I am in total agreement. I love this DL top to bottom and Star was my whipping boy because he sucked and had no heart for the game. This DL is hungry and Von is the spoon that feeds them. Daquan has been excellent and everything I wished upon a Star. Our LB's and DB's are much better because of the greatness up front.
  8. I'm with you OP. We cash in on half the missed opportunities and its 31-21 or 34-21. We cash them all in and it's another 44-14 game, because they don't score off the sack/fumble. We should have destroyed them, but the heat really took us off our game.
  9. because they were fried like eggs and I had eggs for breakfast.
  10. I told everyone early this week that this would be a factor and people on this board still blow it off. Until you experience the heat, you have no idea how crippling it is. I have to work outside sometimes carrying heavy equipment in the heat and I always warn the crew to take water breaks, get inside for awhile, etc... It's really, really bad and getting worse the last few years. No, it's not. This year the humidity or something in the air makes it really, really hard to do physical activity. I've lived in Miami/Tampa for about 15 of the last 30 years and this year is the worst I've ever experienced.
  11. I think teams will need to prepare for this and bring in tents and some kind of air conditioning and hydration area where they can rest when they are not on the field.
  12. I don't think it's normal anymore. There's something in the air that is crippling when you are outside. and if you are not used to it, it will drain you of energy. I have to work outside sometimes and it's just exhausting.
  13. Yeah, but you saw what it did to our team today. I told you the weather was going to be a factor. The Bills were cramped up, exhausted, dizzy. The heat wore them down and contributed to multiple injuries. The heat in Florida this year is like nothing you ever felt before. When you are outside doing physical activity, you get drained and dizzy so quick sometimes. I've had guys on my crew suffer heat stroke.
  14. I mentioned this all week and people blew it off. I knew the heat would be a big, big problem. I live here and it's insane how much it drains your body when you are doing physical activity outside.
  15. Not even close. The air is dry in Los Angeles. I lived there for 10 years. It gets hot in September and the sun takes it's toll, but it is nothing to the energy draining humidity of Miami. Believe me. I lived in both cities and you can physically exert yourself a lot more in LA without wearing down. You sweat through everything here and within 30 minutes you don't want be outside doing heavy physical activity. True, but Ive lived here for years and it was never as bad as it has been this year. The last 3-4 years in FL, the heat and humidity through the summer has been ridiculous.
  16. Honestly, this game is about the weather. I live here and the heat and humidity is oppressive and drains so much energy out of you, especially if you are performing physical activity outside. The Bills training staff better be ready to keep everyone hydrated and free of cramps. Our rotations and depth will be the key to this game. Just doing yard work or light labor outside makes you sweat so much that your shirt needs to be wrung out. I can't imagine going full speed with 20 lbs of equipment on me for three hours in the middle of the afternoon. And 3-4 pm is like the witching hour where the heat will hit 95-100 degrees with killer humidity. If this was a night game, I'd say the Bills win by 17+ but I think it will be close and in the 4th quarter we are going to need fresh players who have energy. This is where Hill and Waddle can take advantage of our DB's and DL slowing down. especially since we are missing players in these positions. It's going to take all 53 to win this game.
  17. As long as they elevate them to their active roster. It's been around for awhile.
  18. No, they won't. Until the ring is on the fingers of our team and the banner is raised at "The Ralph" winning will never grow old. And after that, I want to win some more.
