  1. Vegas is just trolling the Bills at this point and looking for fools to make money off in addition to continuing to motivating all our opponents into thinking we really are the best team in the league. If the Bills win against the Browns it will probably be a slim margin of victory (i.e. 3 points).
  2. Dungy at least won a SB and I don't see McD ever doing that so it's not really a valid comparison. A better one would be Marty Schottenheimer or really just a glorified Marvin Lewis that actually can win a playoff game (at home) here and there.
  3. Yep and they also got away with an incomplete pass on that Davis sideline catch late that should have been reviewed. So for all the people that continue to blame injuries and other nonsense on this teams current struggles time to give it up.
  4. Not really a shocker consider recent comments from Beasely, Feliciano, etc. And at some point McD's tired message is going to get stale in the lockerroom and when that happens and certain players (or the whole team) quits that's when it will truly be over for him and possibly Beane if they are locked at the hip in this thing.
  5. The Bills are still the better team and should win, but make no mistake about it lose this game and the season is all but over considering what still lies ahead. Biggest concern is this one is the Browns offense and how similar it is to the Vikings and Jets, and considering this teams rush defense woes could be a monster day for Chubb and company.
  6. Dolphins are poised to a make a serious run and they will have a ton of momentum if the Bills lose against the Vikings and they can seize control of first place in the division again. They already have one of the best offenses in the league with a QB having an MVP season and if that defense starts to come together with Chubb look out.
  7. While I knew we wouldn't see White until sometime in the 2nd half of the season, at this point we may be overcautious and saving him for a playoff run that doesn't come to fruition especially if we have to go the WC route and will likely exit early.
  8. Finally some good injury news. Quessenbary hasn't been terrible but think Brown is an upgrade especially in terms of running the ball which we may see a heavy committed dose of this week for obvious reasons.
  9. I really hate the anxiety over this situation. On one hand not expecting JA17 to play despite the 4D chess moves from McD, but also getting the nausea and overall feeling of unease knowing this team is probably not going to win against a good Vikings team with Keenam starting.
  10. No my argument is valid because 3 of 4 years they had homefield throughout, just as the Pats and Chiefs examples. If this team has proven they can win on the road in the playoffs it's be one thing, but they can't and why any path to a SB this year needs to go through Orchard Park. I'm well aware of that, my point is that in the 3 other trips they didn't. Just like the Patriots in almost all of their 9 trips to the SB with Brady.
  11. No matter what the Beane cult worshippers believe, he whiffed big time on Saffold (and resigning Bates). Also I get that Beasely is done and wanted out of Buffalo anyway, but idea that a proven failure like McKenzie and/or injury prone player like Crowder were going to magically pick up that production is short sighted at best. Knox extension also very questionable at this point. With all that said yes this team is still 6-2 and the top seed in the AFC for the moment, but one more loss and the luster and potential of this season starts to diminish exponentially as does the misguided belief that Beane is some kind of genius.
  12. In terms of hard sack production it's true, point is some of these other guys really need to step up in Groot's absence. What on earth happened to Basham? He was looking good early on in the season.
  13. I still see this team being in the playoffs as well barring a complete disaster, but what's it really going to matter if we are a WC team in a loaded AFC conference? McD has proven he's not a true wartime playoff coach and there's a reason why he's 0-4 lifetime on the road in these games. There's also a reason the 90's Bills teams made 4 straight SB's and why KC also made 2 in recent years. Pretty sure that the Pats and Brady had home field throughout in the playoffs for all but 2 of their 9 SB trips as well, it's because playing at home matters and that's what this team needed this year for any real shot at a SB before the current window starts to close quickly.
  14. This perception is just a facade that has been created by all the unwarranted media hype in the offseason. Yes the Bills are a good team among a handful of contenders in the AFC/NFL as a whole. But still think the Chiefs are head and shoulders better and will prove that down the stretch (Mahomes has never lost a game in NOV/DEC) as they cruise to an unprecedented 5th straight AFCCG appearance, likely again at home too. I also agree that this team still has a few glaring holes that need to be addressed (LB outside of Milano, oline, slot receiver, etc) but is gonig to be tough to do given the cap situation next year.
  15. Miller and Groot have been the only real bright spots on this latest revamped dline or the sack numbers would truly be pathetic. It's definitely time for someone else to step up now because I'm still waiting to see all this alleged depth people keep telling me that Beane has built on this roster.
  16. Just like with the Jets, watch the Vikings offense explode and play their best game of the year against us. They pretty much have already made public comments about how they still feel disrespected despite being 7-1 and see this game as a good barometer of who they really are. They certainly aren't going to have any sympathy for the Bills if JA17 is out and will still treat this as playing an NFL heavyweight. Either way at this point not even sure if it's a win if Allen does suit up.
  17. Anybody ever seem to notice that the Chiefs never get calls like this against them but it's always the Bills? Seriously go back and watch the Titans SNF and watch Mahomes run around for what seems an eternity and none their olineman get flagged. Hate to admit it but it's crystal clear who the NFL views as the face of the league and another challenge this team will have to overcome.
  18. At what point do you look at coaching for the lack of sack production on this team? Especially since Jerry Hughes (who I also personally thought was finished in this league) is putting up numbers in Houston. If this team does fall short of lofty expectations once again this year after last offsesaon's defensive line overhaul it's clearly time to part ways with the likes of Frazier and Washington. Either that or Beane is publicly admitting his repeated failures.
  19. I'd love to believe this but I really think this team is going to look like total trash (at least on offense) without JA17 which is not only a direct indictment on Beane and the front office, but shows that he is truly a legit MVP candidate that has carried this team thus far.
  20. Word on the street in gambling circles is that this line is about to move significantly in the Vikings favor which would indicate Vegas knows JA17 isn't playing this week.
  21. It will be a direct indictment on Beane's failures if this team loses which I suspect will be the case without JA17. This offensive line is among the worse in the league and that will be magnified tenfold with a limited QB like Keenum sitting back there for the Vikings to tee off on especially with an even more diminished threat of a running game that they can stack the box against. The key is if the defense can get out of whatever funk they are in and carry the load, but even if they do not sure it will be enough.
  22. The immediate fallout and impact: - Bills fall to 3rd place in the AFCE, Dolphins regain division lead (this of course assumes the obvious that they beat a bad Browns team at home) - Bills fall to all the way to 6th or 7th spot in conference if Chargers win - KC assumes sole possession of #1 seed (also assuming obvious outcome of facing a bad Jaguars team at home). We'll find out a lot about this team with our without JA17, but if it's the latter I feel it will probably be a somewhat easy win for the Vikings since they will stack the box and force Keenan to beat them. Just goes to show that nothing is guaranteed and it's probably a good thing all the superbowl noise has come to an abrupt halt.
  23. I know it's taboo here to discuss, but I've said all along that Beane's drafts have not been that great overall especially if you take JA17 out of the equation. And while it's still a bit early to judge this year's batch, it's been a bit underwhelming other than Benford being a revelation as a late round pick.
  24. God forbid that happens because teams will stack the box even further and dare Keenum to beat them which is becoming a challenge for Allen as it is locking onto Diggs with no other reliable options.
