  1. An inside source told me that the draft will be at 8 PM today
  2. Yes, but this year they have #5 and #7 while they have no idea where they'll draft next season. Maybe they trade one of those picks for a 1st rounder in the 2023 draft.
  3. When the Bills needed a qb in 2013 they didn't care that it was an extraordinarily weak year for qb's. They reached and took a guy in the 1st round who probably should have been a 3rd rounder based on his talent. Hopefully the Giants panic and take a qb to develop during Jones' final year. Then teams like the Panthers, Falcons, Seahawks, Commanders, and Texans will over-draft qb's as well.
  4. Good news for the Bills. This just means another team is drafting a qb and pushing talent down the draft board.
  5. The problem with having such an obvious need (cornerback) is that teams may try to leap-frog us at #25 to take the best remaining player at the position. I could see us moving up to ~20 to secure our selection, or moving out of the 1st round if the top 5 cb's are gone.
  6. I just hope Jordan Davis doesn't walk across the stage in that same outfit...
  7. I'm just worried he might not be able to grip the football without popping it
  8. I think he'll wait until after the draft. If we end up taking a cb at #25, that might change the tier of free agents we go after.
  9. I think Edmunds, Epenesa, Moss, and Poyer could be considered in a trade for picks. It would suck to lose Poyer, but extending a 31 year old db to a big money long-term deal probably isn't wise.
  10. The Bills will trade away a starter during the draft.
  11. The guy who tweeted this has one follower...
  12. CB WR OL CB LB OL Tie Breaker: the player won't be wearing a jacket since the draft is held in Vegas and we don't pick until a few hours into it.
  13. Cornerback is the clear #1 since we are one injury away from needing to put an unproven UDFA into the starting lineup. Due to the fact that we frequently play in 4 wr formations and just lost Beasley and Sanders, I think a deep threat wr is also a need. I am not a fan of Edmunds and I would like to draft a replacement who plays more physically who can get reps in 4-3 alignments this year and become a full-time starter in 2023.
  14. The Baker Mayfield statue doesn't resemble him at all, but the Ronaldo statue doesn't even look like a human.
  15. I would love to bring him in for one year at $5 Million, but I would still draft a cb in the 1st or 2nd round.
  16. He seems to not care at all about preparation, but he is undeniably talented. Maybe a trade for a late round pick would light a fire under his ass.
  17. I would prefer if he goes all-in on becoming a dependable slot receiver instead of a kick/punt returner. He has had a bunch of miscues as a returner and it's just in his head at this point. I think we draft at least one receiver and they can battle Stevenson for the job.
  18. Even an average cornerback is worth big money in today's NFL. We were lucky to extend Tre at a somewhat reasonable price.
  19. I think it all depends on how expensive their 5th year option is compared to the cost of a new contract.
  20. I would trade up to #20 if Trent McDuffie falls that far. I don't think any position besides cb is worth giving up picks.
  21. I'm glad the USFL exists just to test weird rule changes and how they affect strategy.
  22. I would be fine with Walker as our 2nd rounder even though we have bigger needs to fill. A dynamic running back with elite speed could give our offense more balance and keep opposing safeties honest. Singletary and Moss are solid, but we need to add a home-run hitter to the backfield.
  23. We needed the veteran depth at the position. He's not great, but we don't want to be in a position halfway through the season where some rookie UDFA has to start at LT.
  24. I think Edmunds' replacement will be drafted this year, but it won't be until round 3 or later. We still need to add a cb and wr first and hopefully Chad Muma, Troy Anderson, or Darrian Beavers will be available in the 3rd. Edmunds would remain the starter while the rookie gets reps in 4-3 fronts as he learns the defense and starts in 2023.
