  1. My ideal scenario is Booth in the 1st and Jahan Dotson in the 2nd. Then the best available guard in the 3rd (maybe Parham or Strange)
  2. I think the league really needs to change how practice squad poaching works. If another team signs a guy drafted in the 7th round from our practice squad, we should get a compensation pick in exchange.
  3. If he's there in the 2nd after taking a cb in the first, I would be okay with it. He has the explosiveness that we lack at running back.
  4. Seems about right considering we have the best roster. Add a cb and wr in the draft and we're ready to win it all this year.
  5. I have little interest in a receiver who can't get open. Maybe he'll switch to being mainly a rb like Patterson. He's still had some production as a receiver in his first two seasons and may be able to improve his route running.
  6. According to Spotrac Case Keenum has a bigger cap hit than Von Miller 🤣
  7. Why not? We're not gonna be able to find a qb in the 7th round who can step in immediately if Josh gets hurt. He's an experienced veteran who has won a playoff game. All of our late round picks just get poached from our practice squad without compensation anyway (Jack Anderson, Rachad Wildgoose, Jake Fromm)
  8. The only thing that could have made the division competitive was the Dolphins potentially getting Watson or Wilson. I do think the Jets made a bunch of quality under-the-radar signings that will make them a better team. Laken Tomlinson is one of the best guards in the league and putting him with Mekhi Becton and Vera-Tucker will create a solid o-line so that Zach Wilson isn't running for his life.
  9. Yeah, but from his perspective he's hoping to put up big numbers in one season with a star qb and get a big payday. It reminds me a lot of the first contract that the Bills gave Daryl Williams. Low risk, high reward prove-it deal. Hopefully we can find a wr to agree to a similar deal.
  10. I would rather just sign Odell Beckham without giving up a draft pick. Woods' cap hit is 17 Million so his entire deal would need to be redone also.
  11. I think the plan is to wait for a bargain veteran cornerback and take a cb in the early rounds of the draft. Andrew Booth may be there when we pick, but Trent McDuffie is worth trading up for if be falls out of the top 15
  12. They still are big needs, but with Cody Ford at guard Josh Allen won't make it through the season. Dane Jackson is a better cb than Cody Ford is a guard.
  13. We lost our #2 in free agency and Tre isn't guaranteed to be ready by week 1. Cornerback is a premier position that we can't afford to fill in free agency and we need to get younger and cheaper at the position. There are more late round rb's that become stars than cornerbacks.
  14. We need to draft a cb and wr in the first two rounds. Maybe even a guard if Bates leaves. I like Breece Hall a lot but we have much bigger needs.
  15. I hope Frazier is more creative with how he uses the d-line this year. Rousseau is also athletic enough to cover the flat and is a great blitzer up the middle.
  16. If we lose Bates, guard become the team's #1 need heading into the draft. Ford has played terribly and Saffold is an older player on a one-year deal.
  17. We got a player of the same calibur without wasting a 2nd rounder that we need to address other positions. This is definitely a win.
  18. McDermott's seat is colder that the bleachers during the Bills/Pats wildcard game
  19. I really think this will be our main focus in the draft. We'll still probably pick up a cheap veteran cb at some point
  20. The Colts have been in a weird cycle of one-year qbs after Luck retired. At least they could call him Indiana Jones.
  21. He immediately becomes the best qb on the roster. I think this signals that the Giants may take a qb at 5 and try to trade away Daniel Jones for a mid-round pick. At the very least, there will be a qb competition which Tyrod should absolutely win.
  22. That's a really low salary for a starting cb. For his sake, I hope it's really a one-year contract with a dummy year to spread out the cap hit.
  23. They never would have traded him to a division rival, but I bet beane would have given up a fifth rounder for a dominant guard in his prime.
  24. I haven't given up on Zach Moss. I still think he can be a great power runner. Making the necessary upgrades at offensive guard will make him more effective.
  25. He seems like a solid Breida replacement. I think the front office has decided that the o-line was to blame for the lack of a running game, not the running backs (and I agree)
