Josh throwing the ball into the turf with an open McKenzie standing in the endzone didn't help. Hamlin getting burned put the Dolphins in the lead but defense was not the reason we lost in week 3 last year. That week 3 game was probably the best the defense looked against Miami out of all 3 games last year.

Improving the RT spot would definitely help, but neutering Spencer Brown seems a little extreme...

My biggest concern yesterday was the lack of production in the passing game from anyone not named Diggs. Aside from Diggs, no one had more than 2 receptions. Then again, Josh completed passes to 9 or 10 different receivers, so maybe it's actually a good thing? Maybe I actually don't know anything and have to just enjoy the result? I'm not sure how to do that...

I'll admit that I have begun to have a growing concern that the Bills and Josh are teetering very close to the Carson Wentz trajectory. Of course, the Eagles made the difficult decisions and it's worked out well for them. Would the Bills ever do a thing like that? Probably not. (FWIW, I'm not advocating for anything drastic right now. Just going to watch it play out and hope for the best).

What 2021 season were you watching? That offense was abysmal for multiple games throughout that season... Pittsburgh, Indy, Jax, 1st half of Tampa Bay. Josh threw for 120 yards and 3 boneheaded ints against the Falcons two week before the No Punt Game... And oh yeah, that was all with the beloved Daboll running the Offense. Josh is who he is.

Well that was drag. But it's a long season and we've got to keep our spirits high. So here are tonight's top 10 silver linings! 1. We only have to play the Jets defense once more this year! 2. We might finally suck enough to draft a #2 WR like Tee Higgins! 3. We can free up a roster space by cutting Sam Martin since Josh Allen has assumed the role of punter! 4. We looked this bad in the 2021 opener and look how we ended that season! 5. We probably won't have to hear about the Jets being Super Bowl bound anymore! 6. Josh Allen quickly ended his MVP bid so he can lighten up and play more loose and free! 7. Turns out Leslie Frazier wasn't the issue with the run D! 8. Josh Allen didn't puke before the game! 9. Statistics say Josh Allen has to win an overtime game at some point. Best to save it for a time when it really matters! 10. There's no way this game wasn't scripted!
