  1. Eh, if this came to pass teams without a Franchise QB would be at an even greater disadvantage. We all know a Franchise QB greatly increases the chance of victory. If they equaled the teams outside of the QB on top of that, well we could probably pick the conference championship games on week 1. I wouldn't be a fan.
  2. Probably the biggest deal, IMO filling needs in FA and drafting BPA will get you further in the long run.
  3. Even if it's true, what can the Bills do about it? Nothing. He got the contract before the injury, is what it is. I think he will regain his form but even if he don't the only answer is to never give a big contract, injuries will always be a part of it.
  4. I agree, Randy Moss probably can't coach wideouts, so I get it. But Reed does have passion which the Bills lack in a major way.
  5. Perhaps like Teller? But hey Beane is a guru. At least the drought years we just sucked, now we have hope but are doomed by incompetence.
  6. He has more passion in his finger than the entire coaching staff we currently have. Xs and Os, who knows, can't be a downgrade though. I certainly hope they plan to fire more than just the safeties coach.
  7. I hope you are correct, at the time I have a hard time believing that though.
  8. I honestly can't say which. It's hard to ever say which one it is definitively. Teller obviously points you in a certain direction. The real question is does it matter? The people drafting are the same and the people coaching are the same. So does that mean the Pegulas and the Bills are "OK" being considered a top team but not performing like one when it counts? That's what I hear.
  9. Unless they win a Lombardi I sincerely hope this isn't remembered as the most successful time in team history. Top 8 team, that's it, nothing more nothing less. Can't get to the final 4 to even have a shot. I wish it was different but that's the reality, very tired of them being considered a top 3 team or so and the results don't match that claim, not even in the slightest.
  10. The team is cap strapped. It has to be the coaches. Either you paid the wrong People or you have the wrong people leading them. Your choice, either way someone should be out of work. Coordinators or Beane, make a choice.
  11. That one still hurts, we literally helped him catch it...🙄
  12. I can't help but say no. Von may not even be 100% next year which is a huge concern. At the end of the day the draft should still be used on offense. If you can score the defense doesn't have to be as good. Which IMO Buffalo has a paper D. Looks good on paper, but when it's 3rd and 8 for the game I don't trust them, and there is data to backup my mistrust.
  13. The Jets or the Dolphins will aquire a QB that threatens the division this year. I hope Josh and the Bills can rise up but honestly my optimism is at a record low. The GM to the water boy sounds defeated like a loser.
  14. Yeah, bad day for the coaches and their gameplan. Can't make me believe the entire 53 man roster was "prepared" and they looked like that.
  15. It's called coaching, thankfully the same guys will be back to give you more of the same next year. I can't wait....
  16. I know paying Edmunds and Oliver is the wrong move, unless they take very team friendly deals, which they probably won't. Coaching is the biggest issue, but that seems to be off the table. My off-season theme would be "Discomfort", I wouldn't want a single man on the team to feel comfortable.
  17. Poyer will be more injured next year than he was this one. Also, I could see players fleeing from Frazier.
  18. Exactly my thoughts, I don't care about the talent, the Bills are talented enough player personnel wise. I have zero faith in the coaches to put them in the best position to win. We will make the playoffs and get outcoached by the better teams. I'll get optimistic when the search for new coordinators start.
  19. The offensive plan on Sunday was...well offensive to say the least. Is keep McDermott but after that anyone is fair game.
  20. Barkley will never get out of the Giants building.
  21. Or the important question, How do your coaches still have a job?
  22. I agree but this is season #2 that has ended on bad coaching. The first time we played KC in the AFCCG I do feel we were not as good as them on a team level. So if we keep these same coaches how many chances do they get to "get it right" in the playoffs? You only get so many years, wasting them on unprepared coaches is unacceptable.
  23. I wonder what happened to the years when we had the advantage of having a QB on a rookie contract...oh that's right Beane and McDermott couldn't get it done then either.
