  1. Tag to have more tome for a deal and trade him for compensation if it doesn't work out? Wouldn't get much but makes more sense than paying him 14M for 1 season..
  2. 100%, I don't think next year goes past the divisional round either without some luck. Maybe 2024 season if they start using draft picks and money thinking that way.
  3. I got you, wasn't a personal attack. Just how I see it, which doesn't make me right lol.
  4. I would actually think it's like a player, year 1 to 2 can be the biggest jump. He seen alot he had never seen this year, made alot of mistakes. Hopefully he learned from them.
  5. I would dump EVERY resource into the OL and see where and how it shook out. Could a veteran do as well as Edmunds for 30% of the cost, let's find out. IDK, OL seems like the clear path, everything else is irrelevant until it's not if that makes sense. Show me Josh standing in a clean pocket for 5-6 seconds and then convince me we have a weapons issue, ill be more likely to listen.
  6. I look at officiating 2 ways, and perhaps it's wrong, I won't try to convince you otherwise. Was it holding? Yes. But to the other side of the coin, they allowed face guarding, face masks and very physical play the entire game with no call, and I am 100% ok with that. But when you get to where the game is on the line and you make a call like that to decide the game, it sucks. Why not call the entire game by the book if that's your objective? Don't let guys think it's ok to play rough and then make 1 lone call after letting 30 go during the game and do it when it decides the game. It's complete BS. Just be consistent.
  7. But when it happens 4 years in a row? Really? Things happen that's always true, but when it's consistent the problem has to be fixed. What's the definition of insanity again?
  8. Decent logic, but we have seen this defense collapse in big moments way too many times to believe in it, Regards of what "stats" say.
  9. He's just trying to get Bieniemy a HC gig, I honestly don't think they miss a beat when/if he leaves.
  10. IMO it wasn't a penalty at all, he barely touched him.
  11. Stripes winter the SB MVP! ....what a BS way to end a SB, sickening.
  12. That's usually a pretty safe bet, they rarely do a good job, regardless of the artist.
  13. I skipped conference championship weekend on that note, I like Jalen and will root for him to beat Mahomes.
  14. Yeah Robinson is definitely a between the tackle guy, only reason I wouldn't take him is I'm not sure our coaches would commit to using him correctly.
  15. I believe you are about right, I could see him go as high as 32 as the first pick of the 2nd but definitely won't be there in the 3rd. IMO we would have to trade back with our first and take him early second I'd that's the route they wanted to go. I'd still go OL though, but I do believe he will be a great playmaker in the league. Cook isn't bad, but he will never be explosive like Kamara. Doesn't mean he isn't good, just not the same.
  16. We have what? 2 2nds, 2 1sts, and a huge FA contract into the DL? If it isn't good enough yet the guys picking are the issue, hard to think anything different. We have 5 1st and 2nd round picks with a large FA contract in the front 7 and look like we pieced it together from bargain FAs most of the time, it's sad.
  17. Knowing you are a huge Bama fan, I am as well, grew up 40 minutes from the stadium. At what round would you consider Gibbs? I think he's a Kamara type guy that could be really good in our offense.
  18. It would be ideal, but drafting another Davis or Shakir doesn’t really help the offense if Allen has no time to get to the 2nd or 3rd read. A good OL gets him deeper in his reads and gets Knox free to actually be a weapon in the offense.
  19. He's giving out 40%? Well that's better than most "charity's" out there. Still a scam but this seems like they are specifically targeting Russ. If they went through every charity to see how much of every dollar got to the cause it would be shocking. But hey he scammed Denver out of 250M so he isn't a Saint 🤣 I'm In south Alabama but shriners is a great one as well. They give 100%. Them and St. Judes are the only 2 I for sure trust.
  20. That's my take as well, I knew Pederson or Daboll was getting it. Reid is obviously the best coach right now, only one that's close is Shanahan (sp?) In San Francisco. Can't give it to him every year though.
  21. I'll be honest, if the Wideout being selected isn't believed to be a true #1 where we get into a situation where we have a 1a and 1b, I'd rather them just draft OL and make what we have work. Having am OL will free up Knox to actually run routes and not block. I think our weapon issue is compounded by the OL, but if they feel the wideout is a sure fire #1 I can understand that.
  22. IDK, Rex could coach defense. The only knock could be he had Ray Lewis etc so anyone would look good, but he also had a great defense with the Jets. Buffalo was the only team he made the defense worse.
  23. I don't understand how people can still defend him. Possibly they just aren't as vocal about wanting him gone, I get that. But how can anyone really want to sign up for more of this?
  24. I would sign him. Don't need him to be a star, just need him to be a solid #2. Also we need our coaches and medical staff to manage him in a way where he is healthy for the playoffs. I felt that was the plan for Von, it just sadly went south unexpectedly.
