  1. He actually like Bills fans. Had a blast tailgaiting a few years ago
  2. The aura around NE is dead. It was dead last season when Brady left but that mirage of a 7 game win streak forced the media to pretend it still exists. All of this stuff about Belichick taking away an offenses best player, never losing after a bye, never losing 2 in a row, never losing in December is all ancient history. Remember how brilliant he was to “zig when everyone zagged.” It caught up with him today. There’s a limit to how far a run first offense without a legit QB can go in the NFL. Belichick will go down as perhaps the greatest coach ever in the NFL. You can argue that he’s probably the best defensive mind ever. But the aura of invincibility around him is gone.
  3. Yes…higher team plays the lowest seed
  4. I think if Hyde doesn’t make that INT, the game could have been completely different. It seemed to set the stage for the game and the offense did their part by turning the turnover in 7 points.
  5. Josh had so much time in the pocket. He looked like Jim Kelly against Cleveland in 1989
  6. Matthew Fairburn loves to push these narratives. First it was Belichick is in McDermott’s head. Then it was The Bills can’t beat NE when it matters. Then it was Josh can’t play in the cold
  7. Best of luck man.
  8. So this is just what I was talking about. A HC candidate is going to be asked to take Tua as his QB in the interview. Will they turn down the interview or try to make it work? So much for it being a “ridiculous” question eh?
  9. Daboll gets blamed for everything that’s gone wrong and little for what has been effective. I don’t want him to go but hope that he’s given a chance to be a HC. Same with Frazier.
  10. Gabriel.Davis. He probably was already a mismatch for Mills. Now he’ll be defended by JoeJuan Williams, who I understand is that great.
  11. I struggle with this too, especially in the post season. The nerves before the game are always worse than how you feel at the end of the game - regardless of the outcome
  12. I’m getting anxious now. I hate these 8PM games
  13. The biggest question mark is Christian Barmore. He was limited in practice but didn’t do anything when the media was there. He couldn’t put any weight on his leg last Sunday. If he’s active, it makes you wonder how much he’ll play and how effective he will be. There’s no way he isn’t hobbled by what happened last week I’ve also heard they may start start Ononwe and flip Trent Brown. This lets them keep the best 5 on the field. Herron was not good last week
  14. This is amazing. Best post ever
  15. If you’re the GM, you say “My job to get coach the players he wants.” But of course, yes it should go on the GM. A lot of disfunction over at Miami Gardens
  16. Not that far out of the realm considering all of the ridiculous praise the media was heaping on Jones earlier this year. Then again, it didn’t seem like Flores had that relationship with Tua…but, who knows?
  17. Much like last season, the defense carried the team to most of those wins. Tua did play a little better however
  18. This really makes you wonder who Lombardi’s source is. Flores had a reputation as being tough but not abusive toward his players. If he said that I’d like to know the context. He could have said it as a joke and patted him on the back. Still probably not the best think to joke about… but I can’t see him saying this seriously
  19. Grill hot dogs over a garbage car fire…perfect
  20. Back in the day it was the go to spot after last call at 4AM. Nothing was better than a foot long chicken finger sub at 4:30 AM!
  21. Wow really….
  22. One of my favorite late nights places is Jim’s Steakout. Awesome. Awesome subs. It’s open all night but the closest location might be Amherst. But you could always get it delivered to the stadium via GrubHub and then eat on the way home. If you want, you can get Jim Streakout delivered through GrubHub.
  23. He lives for football and is rare breed. I can see him coaching into his 70’s but yeah at some point he will need to slow down
  24. No he is… literally. They owe him $17M over the final 3 years of his deal. A nice little nest egg for him and his family. It has to be killing him though. He waited his whole career for this and ended up getting screwed
  25. Yeah it’s a bad situation all around. Houston wasn’t the Trainwreck everyone expected them to be
