The only thing worse than blowing a lead with 13 seconds left would have been to only have lined up 10 players on defense.

Looks like the call to squib may not have made it to Bass
FieldGeneral replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall
Sounds about right. -
I'm more upset that nobody bumped Kelce at the line. With the amount of time they had, they could have easily bumped him and only had 3 linemen up front. Instead of 3 deep, we should have run a 3-6-2 scheme. Only Hill was beating you deep and for that play to develop, Mahomes needed time. Even with 2 timeouts, they didn't have enough time for 2 deep throws. Utter catastrophic play calling to end this game. We were setup for a very high odds to win a Super Bowl.

Jordan Poyer & Isaiah McKenzie Mic’d Up versus Patriots

I'm shocked at how hard these dudes hit each other and you don't hear pain. -
1/15/22 WC PLAYOFFS Bills vs Pats* Postgame Thread
FieldGeneral replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
Josh went without an incompletion for almost 3 quarters. His last one was at 13:23 in the 2nd quarter. Unreal how well the offense clicked. -
Cool, so now all we have to worry about is Captain No Touch Pass breaking receiver's fingers in zero degree weather.

Can we finally put the need for a dome stadium to rest?
FieldGeneral replied to Bubba Gump's topic in The Stadium Wall
Put a dome on it. For the money they want, I want to be comfortable. -

Ryan Leaf's 1st win. Still shocked about that one. -
Move Tremaine Edmunds to DE next season.

Have we seen how easy he's leveraged? How he doesn't use his size to his advantage? -
How are we supposed to feel about this win??
FieldGeneral replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall
If we get into the playoffs, it's a quick exit. OL is atrocious, Josh has to be near perfect, and teams above us are more of a balanced offense. -
This Bills forum is really amazing
FieldGeneral replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
New England has drafted excellent on their lines. That's why they continue to win without Brady. They won 7 games with their defense alone last season. When you hit on a QB, you're supposed to get an OL in front of him, a DL to shore up your defense, and spot draft all other positions. Look at Buffalo's all world receivers. It means nothing if your QB is uncomfortable in the pocket and never has the time to deliver an accurate pass. Offense is primarily about timing. Our OL screws the whole thing up. -
That's exactly what happened. I was telling my coworkers, "This is a huge mistake if Buffalo defers. Neither team is going to move the ball, but who has it with the wind at the end of half and the game is going to win." And what do you know, they win, by losing the flip because Coach McD can't coach big games. He did it again by wasting a challenge on a play where the ball wasn't visible on replay.

Spencer Brown placed on Covid List [Edit: Thurs 11/18]
FieldGeneral replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall
Biggest difference last time was Knox was also out. If we split these games, we're OK. We lose both, we will be fighting for survival with 4 other teams. -
Beasley dropped that pass midfield. So many screw ups.

I notice this specifically on throws where he goes to a receiver in the middle of the field. There are fringe receivers and RBs always open. OK, it may be for 4 yards, but it makes the next play less obvious. Too often we are on 2nd and 10 or 3rd and 8 because Josh is looking for a player in the middle of the field or deep almost everytime. A RB won't get a pass his way unless Josh is looking directly at him and a blitz is staring him in the face.

NFL Officiating is an abomination for a 18B product

After Josh fumbled on 3rd and long, I turned the game off. Why did we get another down? It clearly was a fumble. -

Was it on a play towards the sideline? Remember him hunched over and panting after the catch. -
Breaking News: Odell Beckham is set to be released
FieldGeneral replied to Protocal69's topic in The Stadium Wall
A player with 4 or less years is placed on the Waiver Wire and the Waiver order has to be followed. Players with more than 4 years are released and able to sign with anyone. -
Greg Rousseau named to PFF all rookie midseason team

Was it PFF that had both Greg and Boogie on the most likely to Bust list? -

Tannehill is the new Alex Smith. Never makes the boneheaded mistake and does just enough to keep his team in the game. Sitting for 2 weeks on this loss will not be fun. -

We aren't in desperate need for any position. Do not trade away one of our strengths. The only way would be an over the top offer.

What McBeane have done in less than 5 years is astonishing. Not only did they find a franchise QB, they got rid of cap waste, and built a top 3 team.
