  1. The locker room video after the KC win was very telling. As if the on the field tape didn't already tell us everything.
  2. Josh's skill set isn't anticipatory passing. He has improved a lot since Wyoming, but it's still not as good as most elite QBs. The COVID season was his best, but it gradually started getting worse since Brady took over for Dorsey. The drama that sparked up with Diggs in the playoff game against Cincinnati is partly to blame which carried over into more Diggs drama in Training Camp. Look at all of our speedy WRs that we signed. Majority of plays drawn up for them were screens, Jet Sweeps, and quick outs. Where are the simple Mesh concepts that virtually every team runs? They keep going back to what simply does not work. They used it against KC last week, but they didn't in all their losses. Sure injuries matter, but the glaring problem is how we use our $55 million QB. Teams stack the box and dare Buffalo to beat them deep because they don't have a deep threat.
  3. Without a reworked deal for a star and us giving a team another early draft selection, we'll be trading for another rental. Sadly this hasn't worked before, but Beane keeps doing 10 game rental trades.
  4. It's hard to win in the NFL, so anything's possible.
  5. But but Josh wanted Keon.
  6. We have 7 season's worth of data that shows McBeane won't be making any trades for anyone that would matter.
  7. Diggs was very good at finding spots to “sit in”. Fantastic route runner. Worked phenomenally early on, but against top tier defenses, he struggled to excel.
  8. My biggest issue is WHY draft a CB that doesn’t play your style of defense? This was a huge miss. We didn’t have the luxury to take a chance on him.
  9. I read that as Lamar Jackson...
  10. At least the strength coach and nutritionists are doing their jobs keeping up with his progress.
  11. I believe that they will go for instant starters on defense (CB or DT) or in the EXTREMELY rare case if someone slides, they'll trade up with those 2 2nds.
  12. Trading down for more picks and then taking a player who doesn't necessarily have starter chops.
  13. Defense 100%. Safety, DT, DE, LB, or CB. It really is that bad.
  14. If the defense and a legit WR that can get separation aren't seriously focused on, it'll be another season of futility.
  15. I'm not a fan of saying, "such and such doesn't happen after such and such years", but there's a reason that no 1st time Super Bowl winning coach and QB has never made it passed 5 years. Owners realize that this coach/QB won't get it done and they move on from one of them. It's almost always the coach.
  16. Why did he chase points? I'll never understand why he does this so much.
  17. While it worked out in the end, Romo was correct. Should have done 2 Tush Pushes.
  18. He was just telling us where his next TD will be caught.
  19. Only thing that can hurt him is sitting out the last 1-2 games and not padding stats.
  20. My biggest concern with how enamored people are with Sean is how much they praise his "leading men" appeal. These are grown men. Yes, some are younger men, but they're still grown men. This isn't high school football. This isn't even college football. He's paid to win games and win titles. I'm not for excusing troublemakers, but I'm not going to line up for him to receive a gold jacket for winning a bunch of games, but wasting the potential of an obvious once in a lifetime talent. We MUST want better things than AFC East titles. Sadly, I still feel we're one and done in the playoffs outside of us drawing Baltimore in the Wildcard round.
