How can a guy win MVP yet still complain? Something about Rodgers bugs me. Seriously, before Peyton won his 2nd title, all people said was, "He's good, buuuuut he fails a lot in big moments." What's Aaron's excuse?
Lil Cole still doesn't realize that a vaccine isn't just about him. It's about the others you can infect. Were people in the polio era this thickheaded?
What I mean is look at KC last year. They had so many weapons, but as soon as they couldn't get to the QB, they struggled. I don't want to see another season where Allen has to be almost perfect every game for us to win. Seems as if all we have concentrated on the last 2 years is offense and depth on defense.
Are the DEs and run stoppers that bad this late into the 1st round? Did the FO really not notice how bad we were at getting to the QB and stopping the run?
If we pull off another good draft, with the core players we have, it'll be competing for division titles and Super Bowls for the next decade. I firmly believe that the days of free agents and players laughing off Buffalo is over.
Did anyone see the game yesterday and still doubt the need for a running game? TB forced KC into having to pass every down since they couldn't/didn't run the ball. When KC needed to make a stop, TB would get chunks of yardage on runs. This matters. You can't put all the pressure on one player to be perfect on every down. KC looked like what we looked like 2 weeks ago. Yes there were more factors involved, but when you have zero run game, you are at a disadvantage. Hopefully Beane addresses the running game in the draft because nobody fears it as it is now.
Houston isn't trading him to Jacksonville or Indy since they're in Division. The only logical teams are NE, NYJ, and maybe Washington. They have cap space and in need of a QB. Watson doesn't want to go to another team that wastes his talent by not filling areas of need immediately.
