I still doesn't matter, Kelce was wide open for that touchdown and there was no player within 5 yards of the guy. Like I said over and over our D coaching has not learned in 3 post season losses to the Chiefs you have to double cover this guy when in matters. We did not again and got burned by Kelce yet again.

Playoff defense not just bad, next level awful
Toyo321 replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall
Our D this year has been the walking dead of the NFL. We have had more guys with bad, bloody, banged up body parts playing out there than any other team that I could remember, it has been unreal. -
Det @ SF Game Thread (Please keep the Bills stuff out of this thread)

Amazing how a good coach and youth movement in Detroit can elevate a team so quickly in 2 years, congrats they are heading to a SB..... -
So glad that Lamar Jackson won the MVP this year according to every sports media analyst and all these media shows. I would not even give this guy a MVP award for the CFL. He is soooooooo over rated. That sure a hell was pristine 100% MVP performance on national TV by him today, Lol .

Beane has not brought in a infusion of young talent, we are arguably one of the oldest teams in the league "26th or 27th" going into training camp 2024. Our Safeties are as slow as hell, our corners are middle of the road at best. Our entire wide receivers corps going into next year needs a complete overhaul. We lack any speed everywhere on special teams on a consistent basis, and our special teams have been torched the last couple of years giving up big plays at the worst time possible because we lack speed there too. Our D-Line is good but it is not elite. It fails over and over to dictate the game when needed the most. McD and Beane's fault there. Then there is the playoffs, in the playoffs the Offense and Defense always disappears and when it matters the most they can't make the elite game winning plays to win in the playoffs. It happened again at home this year against KC. Zero explosive plays on O and no Game changing plays by the D. Beane has put us in CAP purgatory for 2024 and the cuts and player turnover is coming, you can bet on it.

Bass in training!!

We need to send him to Dallas to play with his brother, and we get CD in a trade. I actually want new #1 and #2 receivers. We need youth and speed and we don't have that at all with #1, #2 or #3

In 4 just words Super Bowl or Bust!!! Anything else is of no consequence and not acceptable. You don't get remembered or praised for wins in the regular season. This only happens based what you do in the playoff's. This teams HC and GM have their heads so far up each others butt holes they will never see the light again. Their end of season press conferences were the worst projectile vomit I have heard in quite a while "You cover my ass and I will cover yours" it was absolutely ridiculous, and these guys are so out of touch with the NFL trends today its mind blowing. Their tweak it philosophy and attitude has not worked in 7 seasons. With out risk there is no reward, and Bills HC and GM are incapable of taking risks, because they are too scared to lose. So the result is no reward. The 2024 season is going to have more player turn over and there is no way this team wins 10 games next year because of the players we are going to lose to the cap due to Beane's pathetic free agent signings and contracts he extended to players that are on this team. We all know who these players are too, so no need to mention them here.

Beane & McDermott end of season press conferences
Toyo321 replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid have such a higher level of excellence at this point it is foolish to even theorize that our team with our coaching will ever out duel them in the playoffs. They did not make any mistakes that cost them the game and we did, and this time it was on our own home field. This trend has been this way for three playoff games vs KC in the last 4 years. Not leaving out the ass whooping the Bengals gave us last year too. Patrick Mahomes playing in Buffalo made every play he needed to make, to win that game. KC had 47 snaps and included three kneel downs in this game. We had the time of possession edge, play count edge and we still lost. Our Defense could not stop them, our coaching could not stop them, our offense could not out score them, and our special teams could not compete and perform at the highest level when asked of them. Josh Allen did not make every play he had to have to win this game, neither did our receivers or our special teams players. Sad but true. This almost proves my point, Josh Allen has to play at the highest level of any other NFL player for this team to win. There is no other team that relies so much on one player to win. Why?? Because Beane and McD have given no elite talent for the offense & Josh to utilize. Cook is good but he no Christen McCaffery, Kincaid has potential but we don't have a OC that utilizes him to his full potential. Diggs is on the decline and there are many other receivers out there that are out performing him right now, Diggs was not even in the top 10 receivers, stat wise this year. There is no other player on our offense that I would even make a case for as elite. Shakir is being used as a 3rd option behind Gabe, and Gabe is just too unreliable. So long as McD and Beane are in charge we loose to KC every time in the post season until something drastically changes with our personnel or Andy Reid retires, and Mahomes literally looses all of his offensive weapons. Because their player personnel is always better than ours when it matters the most, in the post season. The facts are in black and white and undisputable at this point. They are 3-0 against us in playoff elimination games in the Josh Allen era. KC in the playoffs vs McD, Beane and Josh are the superior team. Until drastic changes happen to this team this trend will continue. Beane & McD tweaking the personnel has not worked in 7 years. So now it will just magically & automatically work for us in 2024 with tweaks?? Please....get real. KC & Reid & Mahomes > Buffalo & McD & Allen. Like I said you can't dispute this. Winning as team is all that matters, and KC as a whole continues to do this better in the playoffs than Buffalo does. -
Beane & McDermott end of season press conferences
Toyo321 replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
No they cant, this is the weakest KC has been in years on offense and they still could not beat them even playing at home. This was the year to beat them when it counts in the playoffs, and playing at home and they lost again... The regular season means squat.. What you do in the postseason is what matters. -
Beane & McDermott end of season press conferences
Toyo321 replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
I have have a few opinions about McD and Beane. McD & Beane are obviously out of their minds if they thinks tweaking the roster gets us over the top. This guy said again in the press conference "The Process" Your F***ing process no longer works for this team. Wake the hell up, your process is broken. You have had 7 years as a coach and you have not been able to elevate this team to the next level a AFCCG win. The first two years are sadly forgivable due to player turnover from the Doug Whaley & Rex Ryan era. 1) They can not beat Reid & KC or Mahomes and they never will in the playoffs. His attitude about little tweaks is the reason why he is not the right coach to take this team to the next level. You don't tweak what is broken, broken items are replaced. This teams future will remain just broken promises as long as these two guys are in control. 2) His lack of coaching expertise on this team to reach its maximum potential is just pathetic. He had 7 years to find & implement a championship level style of football play, our OC's and DC's that coach this team have failed to win this team a Super Bowl, and its the same excuses and crap every year, losing to the elite teams in the playoffs even when you have the home field advantage. A NFL analyst this week hit it 100% right on top of the head. Beane and McD have not given Josh any help to even out the teams balance on offense. It was in 2014 Buffalo last took a WR in the 1st round Sammy Watkins. No number two's or three's either in the last 5 years. The only WR in the 2nd round was Zay Jones in 2017 who is now long gone. Not one true game changing receiver drafted by this team to help take the load off Allen, accept for Digg's. Digg's right now is a shell of what he was last year. When you get punched in the mouth by a bully, year after year, and you do nothing to stop it from happening to you again, you deserve what you get. This team with McD and Beane at the helm is turning us into the Dallas Cowboys of the AFC. They are a good team but they will never be great. Anyone who thinks this team will have success winning a SB with McD as coach and Beane pulling the strings as GM, are in for a huge disappointment. This team is destined for only trying to win the division every year, nothing more without drastic changes. McD at the press conference was more concerned about the streak of 5 plus seasons with 10 wins. Not the fact that 7 years has passed and this team has not won a AFCCG to advance to a Super bowl. McD and Beane are entrenched on being just a winning team and not a championship winning team. -
Pegula really needs to have a sit down session with another NFL team owner, that has been through this before. Mainly a Robert Kraft or a Stan Kroenke of the Rams. He really needs some consulting far far away from McD or Beane's whispering or verbal input. That is the only way he will get the stomach to do the right thing. But I do not have that high of hope for Pegula because of the Sabres condition since he has owned the team, its just as bad as it was before he purchased the team.

The only way you get better as a team is by replacing the players that don't perform to the NFL expected standard. Bass this year is a bottom 1/3 kicker in stats and percentages. Only 9 kickers were worse than him. In the 2023 playoffs he was the worst of every team that had any field goals attempted. He Played 2 games made 2 of 5 for 40%. Garbage.... needs to go
-
They have better talent scouting college prospects than we do.
-
Does anyone wish we had another dude with a better leg vs Bass as our kicker last night. I never liked Bass last year and he finally cost us a game, he has always at least to me, been performing below par compared with other NFL kickers.
-
God I wish this was the case but we cant get rid of this guy, unfortunately we are stuck with this guy like a bad case of Herpes....

It does not matter who called it or who schemed this up on the white board, Damar should never been allowed to sniff the the ball on that play. He is what 200lbs and has no speed or agility to fight to get 5 yards much less break any tackles. The love affair with Damar and this team needs to end next year too. We need players that can contribute on the field, not more social media poster material. Sorry but the truth hurts sometimes. Not being nasty, I wish him well and we need to let him go next year.

Its because we have a bad case of McD pretending to coach once again.. He has been terrible.
-
McD and Beane should be held for their terrible decision making. They brag and rave about the D-Line they assembled, I beg to differ. The Von Miller signing is detrimental on more than just one level. He has had a total negative ROI for this team, both money wise and performance wise. Its been 2 years now going into a 3rd year now for the upcoming 2024 season. This team is now in regression, our current CAP situation leaves no way out because of Von Miller and some other signings that should have never happened. That money tied into Von, Knox and also White is going to prevent this team, from getting better this upcoming year. We have needed a stud LB for years now. Edmunds wasn't it, Milano although really good has had a past issue with injuries and they were not his fault and I am not blaming him just stating the facts. When he goes down there is no one else to back him up. Even Terrel Bernard is not the stud LB that is needed to get by the competition at this level. We got pushed off the ball all over the place on D last night, In all of the divisional losses the last 4 years we have allow a averaged 34 points given to our opponents, and they all have been losses. That is not championship D... This is why once again why this team will not win with this D, and McD and Beane in charge. When you watched KC last night and their running game move Taron Johnson and Williams and Dodson off the ball with their O Guards & Tackles blocking during their running plays in the game yesterday, it is the same thing we did to Dallas last month. This team for the past 4 seasons has failed because of the D, and McD is a Defensive coach. There is no excuse. They have put tons of money on the D side of the ball and it has been a epic failure. Sorry both McD and Beane need to go. Until these two guys realize that Josh Allen can not play defense, we are never going to win a SB with this team.
-
I missed any receiver that could catch the ball when we need it the most. We have two true receivers on this team and their names are not Digg's or Davis. Its Kincaid and Shakir. They went away from Kincaid in this game too. You have to scratch your head on the play calling and execution at the end of this game. If you know that only the underneath stuff is working all game long and you decide to change that up in the last two minutes of the game, that is why this team fails. They do not know how to win when it matters with what has been given to them by the opposing team. Onto next year, ughhh.....
-
Our receivers have no speed and they are terrible at running routes. Even Diggs has regressed in that area this year. Shakir is the the only one that I have any faith that we should retain moving forward. Everyone else, including Diggs can go it the effort from him does not improve.

We will win a Super Bowl here with Josh Allen…
Toyo321 replied to bills6969's topic in The Stadium Wall
It is called Mediocrity and also that we have the wrong HC and GM to get us the necessary talent to get us over the hump to make it to the next level. -
Yeah another McBeane F***up contract extension. He is really good at giving money away to players that don't deserve it.
-
Yeah that fake punt is something to harp on, why in the world was Damar Hamlin even considered to be the ball carrier, he is slow as hell and has zero running capability. Unreal if you are going to run a fake at least have the ball in the hands of a player that can actually pull it off and run the ball.

How do fans even think about the future at times like this?
Toyo321 replied to ShakAttack's topic in The Stadium Wall
Tried to be optimistic but next year is going to be a really tough year. This team for the first time in 7 years is going to have a 33% turnover of its players that are on the active roster. That much is guaranteed.
