  1. This offseason really shows how bad Von Miller's, Dawson Knox and Diggs contracts are to this team for 2024, they have single handedly influenced the team's ability ability to sign quality personnel this year, in the FA market. I guess we will have to wait after the draft and OTA's to see where this team is competition wise, to compete against the AFC elite this year. These three players alone are completely replaceable right now. I hate to say it but Diggs will be a issue this year in the locker room. Diggs has the makings of a problem child this year in the locker room and with the coaching staff, we don't know what we are going to get out of this guy for 2024. Sorry but it's all over the internet and it can't all be made up rumors. Besides all this drama, the draft could be very promising if they hit on 3 draftees' that could be starters at WR, S and DE.
  2. Do you really believe Beane has the balls to draft a #1 WR at #28 with Diggs being a loose cannon the past few years when everything is not all about him, on the Offense. I have a bad feeling that Joe Brady is going to expose a cancer on this team, this year named "SD" Stephon Diggs. After seeing this guys attitude last year, the year before and the way he has been this off season, the sooner the better we somehow trade him to another team might become a reality. Just my gut feelings about him. I hope I am wrong. But Josh is the the priority on the team and I hope Joe Brady throws the book at him to design plays that do not rely on Digg's and utilize all the other weapons that this team still has. If he doesn't it's going to a long season on offense.
  3. Why do we keep signing players coming off knee injuries. Really is that what this team has been reduced too?? What a waste of money on a guy that tanked in 2023 because of a knee injury in 2022, when he injured his MCL and fractured his knee. I don't understand Beane thoughts on this, and his play last year was way below average too with LAC. Whatever..... This is typical of Beane.
  4. We need to turn to a offensive mindset for 2024. We do need to get better on the D side of ball, but we have lost the last two years because our offense was not dominant. Improving the WR quality standards on this team is a must "priority 1" matter. We can't have a stud QB and have substandard WR's. Digg's is a liability and needs to be addressed via the Draft. So the draft will give us some insight on this team if it has learned from the losses in the playoffs. Face it, our D-Line always disappears in the playoffs with this team, so to combat this you go all in on Offense this year. We need to wait to see what happens draft weekend. That will make or break this year.
  5. This year we are going to need to rely on the Offense more. If we retool with some fresh speed demon WR's in the draft and get lucky on them picking up the level of intensity of the NFL we might be able to make waves this year. Safety is going to be a draft pick that could go 2 or 4th round. I do believe Digg's is done as a Bill. He believes the window of opportunity is gone for this team He really is going to be a thorn in our side this year. I just don't see him having a pro-bowl type of year. So I really see them drafting his replacement in the first round then possibly a safety.
  6. He is definitely not Justin Simmons, I would be happy with someone that is even close to Simmons, a lot of negative feedback on his performance over the past two years with the Buc's then KC. Just not a game changing type of player like Simmons was.
  7. Backup for sure. Not going to be a starter... That's almost a given. When sign our starter this place is going to explode like the 4th of July..
  8. These guy are nothing but a bunch of cronies. Everytime Boomer talks, Open mouth insert foot!! J E T S Jets Jets Jets SUCK!!
  9. All of Mitchell's shortcomings are fixable with coaching. He can address his route running and I watched his highlights from Georgia to Texas clips on youtube, I watched games this year where he played and there was way more upside to this kid than a downside. The guy can cut make and defender trip over his own feet. With Samuel added for the slot duty and 0 to 20 yd pass zone. This guy on the outside of the field is a viable option. Not saying we are going to get him but he would be a nice add. Gabe Davis was a terrible route runner. He always F***ed something up on his route running and situational awareness on the field was almost non existent, plus he dropped balls all the time. This kid is a immediate improvement over Gabe.
  10. Adonai Mitchell would be unreal to get this guy at #28 if he is still in play. Or even move up to get this guy. Big, fast, unreal athleticism and can catch contested balls. They only worry can he play in the cold. Thats the big question. He smoked AJ Brown and Julio Jones in the 4.35 40yd. https://youtu.be/eTHx4O6Mkns?si=CP_k80a9a9DVztgA
  11. We need a true #2 possible #1 with elite speed and route running, great hands at 6'2 205 lb, that can stretch the field on the outside and go up for 50/50 balls when required. We don't have that on this team right now IMO, and still no true #2 WR opposite of Digg's. We still need this at WR, and I hate to say it, but Digg's will be in a decline this year. We will have to wait and see. I did not like what Digg's showed us on the field at the end of last year. We will have to wait and see. Samuel will help with the 10 to 20 yard range with YAC, that we also sorely lacked.
  12. It will be WR, Edge or DT at 28 ,60 & 127 If we don't package a bunch of 5th & 6th rounders to try and get into the 3rd round. If we do that I think they get a Center in the 3rd.
  13. Hamlin was just non-talented average player at best, period. I don't even see him staying on the team this year past training camp. He will be cut and signed to the practice squad. Beane will bring in other players prior to training camp at DB as backups, and still be a improvement over Hamlin.
  14. We don't need no stinking Soup!!!
  15. Hey Mr. Diggs !!!
  16. We still need a #2 WR but we could argue that Safety, DT, DE are more pressing issues since the signing of Samuel. The AFC is an on-slaught of talent in the passing game with all QB's and WR's. We all know who these guys are so no need to mention them now. RAPP as our S#1 position needs to prove his value, no stupid penalties or illegal hits head hunting this year. He has a huge responsibility on D playing back there for the entire season, since he is now starter # 1 of the 2 we need for 2024, and is signed on a new 3 year deal. Poyer was the hammer back there for us, and he was not afraid to lay the smack down on anyone that was around him. Hyde was the more coverage strategic oriented player of the two. I still think we need a #1 S on this team. The premium choices from the draft are Nubin, Bullard, Kinchens, Hicks ot Bullock. I can see a few of these guys still being there realistically at #28, but now I doubt that's who they will pick. When you look at this past years playoff loss to KC, and the play of our safeties in that game, we got torched by a very aged Kelce, Rice and Scantling. Watching this during this playoff game was tough to deal with. We showed how old and slow our safeties were in this game that's for sure. The current list of unsigned FA's available at safety are not limited, but they also all around the 28 to 33 age bracket, and there are only a few that would be worth signing based on their past performance IMO. It's risky to sign a starting rookie at S but why not. New DC this year and maybe a new attitude on D as well. Any one of these new draftees' would be a positive addition to this team at the S position. We will have to wait and see.
  17. He is going to have to do something to fills more holes again. We are barely over the CAP right now, these numbers are vague at best, again by about $ 350k. If the latest cap numbers are correct. There is work that still needs to be done. Somewhere he still needs to free up CAP space. I wish he would look at Bass and force him to take the Vet league min this year to free up close to $2.5 this year. Bass does not warrant a $4 mil salary this year. With pending positive CAP cash coming in after the June 1st player cuts kicking in, It's still really tight money wise right now.
  18. Still think they are going to go BPA at pick 28. I don't see them trading up. They will either get the best WR , DT or S that is still available on the board at that pick. If they do trade up they are going to have to leverage picks from next year. I don't think 4th, 5th, and 6th round picks are even bait to tempt a team to get into the teens this year to move up.
  19. This guy is just a random body that has done practically nothing to make him worthy of being kept by any team like Miami, Philly, Atlanta and the Raiders over the past 7 years. He did not even play a single game in 2018 for Philly. If this guy was such asset, at WR and or ST, and he can't earn a spot on any team for more than 2yrs, this might be the player for you If you do play Madden.... which I don't dude. This is real life and not a video game where you can just change players with a click of the button. Lol.....
  20. FYI I have nothing against Floyd. At least that guy still remembers you have to make tackles when you play on the D-Line. He always put forth an effort when he was on the field. Miller was already on the decline when he got to the Rams and he forgot what the word tackle meant. We had to sign Floyd because Miller was completely removed from the D Edge position for close to a season and an half. I don't care if the guy was hurt or not. We had to bring someone in to try and get pressure on the oppositions QB. Because Miller was no longer a option for the majority of the past two years. If you watched the last super bowl the Rams played, Von Miller was a non factor for 85% of that game. He only had 2 sacks in that game. Those were the only tackles he had in the entire game. 1 sack was a group of players getting to Burrow at the same time and he got credit for it. He took his typical plays off while on the field giving almost no effort at times, when he was on the field. That is exact the way he played after Buffalo signed him. I did not like the signing and a lot of people here on this forum hated it. We paid him 4 times the amount of money this guy was worth at his age. He was great while in Denver because he played team D back then. From 2021 he became just a guy that wanted sacks and made no effort to tackle the opposition no matter what was happening on the field. He was more of a liability than help last year and this year I don't see anything to change this assessment of what he brings to the table for us. I hope I am wrong......but don't bet on it.
  21. I never said it was a $3 mil base in any post, it can be up to this amount per ESPN and Yahoo sports. Still wasted money on a player that should not have been signed. They commit money in a contract signing versus drafting someone for the same purpose and if a rookie can't make the team there is no lost revenue. Instead of being stuck with someone that will be on the bench. Let me rephrase cast off players to just players no one would sign for the money that Buffalo paid them to come here and play, these money pit contracts have been a habit of this ownership and GM for 7 years. Oh wait a minute, I hear that name coming again!!! Von who????? Enough said.....
  22. This guy is not depth signing it was an overreaction signing to fill a position, he is washed up WR, He is a waste of $3 Mil that could have been spent on a kid coming out of the draft. While we are on this depth topic. We sign more casted off NFL players from other teams and always overpay for what we get in return. This is the Hallmark of Beane and McD's tenure for the last 7 years.
  23. I would rather have a player out of the draft who could come in on a rookie salary, be 23 or 24 years old, have size and be proven to catch balls out of college, and be a possible dual purpose player WR & ST, with a lot upside potential, then sign some 30yr old has-been making $3 Mil a year. Once again McD and Beane having a brain fart like they always do at this time of year.
  24. I would rather pay someone after free agency or after training camp. It sure would not cost us $3 Mil then for a special teams player / WR #5 or #6. Even a drafted 5th or 6th round guy would be cheaper than this.
  25. That is pretty funny !!! 🤣 That F-S value is the ranking given to each draft position, as assigned by this scale used here from a data survey from 2011 to 2015. https://overthecap.com/draft-trade-value-chart
