Tre is just a has been now, he should never have been signed. He is playing just as bad now as he was in training camp at SJ Fisher College. Our entire D is under sized, no physically talented attributes at all, not physically reliable, they hold on almost every play, can't play man D. They can read or jump routes to try and intercept the ball. The are always 3 to 7 yards off the receiver they are trying to cover because they have no speed what so ever to cover the receiver lined up across from them. All I can say is our Line Backers are the worst in the league, Milano has not been the same player since he broke his leg and Terrel Bernard is undersized and gets flattened every time he comes in to make a play in the gap or to stuff the run. He gets pushed off the ball 5 to 10 yards and can stop the run to save his life. No one on this D knows how to tackle a player. Neither LB is any good against the run, and this year it has been brutal to watch. With a complete lack of physically imposing players on D, you wonder why they get pushed all over the field on every down by teams like Atlanta and NO & NE. Our D is the worst that we have fielded in the last 10 years.

You might as well hand the the torch to KC for ever. As long as Beane and McD are in charge 17 will never beat 15..... -

Game, set, Match. Its over folks. Beane should be 💩 his pants for passing all the receivers he did in the draft two years ago to get Keon "Slo mo" Coleman. What a absolute crap job of getting receivers in the past 7 NFL drafts.... God this WR room is college level 2nd string talent. All but Shakir. -

McD and Beane both need to go, we should have canned these clowns after 13 seconds and last years home playoff loss. Once again Buffalo Bills front office is just a Whirlpool dish washer, all they keep doing is wash, rinse, and repeat. The dam dishes are broken guys....... Hello ! This combination is clearly broken. -

Because Beane and McD don't know their heads from their butts when it comes to drafting depth in todays NFL.. They are stuck forever in the Carolina days of yesterday in their mentality of how a D needs to operate. Now we know why L. Frazier left this team. -

Beans and Sean - Should we miss the SB again
Toyo321 replied to Cubanmist 1's topic in The Stadium Wall
The team has taken a distinct nose dive on raw talent at most of the D positions. This team is more of a cast me off roster from other teams, more than ever before. We sign questionable players that should not even be starting on a SB caliber team.. #27 White to be exact. We sign crap receivers instead of keeping the one that produced more last year than any of the ones we signed this year. #13 Mack Hollins..namely Our Defense is a whole other issue too. We just have no real talent anywhere at LB and in the D backfield. They are terrible athletically, they cant tackle, they cant cover the opponents #1 WR to save their lives. Bishop needs more work but he has potential. I just don't know how to shed the dead weight on this team before the draft deadline. We don't have a single defensive player that can make game changing plays right now. Bosa has been So So, and Oliver is hurt. It is really hard to put together a D to make a difference when your 5 games into the season. We need players that can impact and change a game.....In one play. We don't have them this year.......where are they. Accept for Bishops pick against the Saints and Oliver's forced fumble against Henry and the Ravens. https://www.jaguars.com/video/k000527-highlight-devin-lloyd-intercepts-mahomes-pass-and-takes-it-99-yards-for-the-td Beane has turned into a refuse recycling company, try to reuse everyone else's trash and hope he can dust it off, shine them up a little and think you have new impact player to throw on the field. Not................. -

D = Trash #27 = Trash Should have never signed this has been. He is a liability every time he lines up on the field. Babich = Trash Milano = Trash, we have no linebackers at all..... Not even #8 can make up for the horrendous play at the position in 2025. There is not one player on D that should not have their head pulled out of their but after this game. This Defense is the worst group of players I have watched for Buffalo in the last 15 years. Undisciplined, can't tackle, can't defend the run, can't defend the pass and they say this is a Super Bowl team... Noooooooo way in hell is this team a super bowl contender with the quality of the D on this team right now. Suspensions and injuries are part of the game but this D showing was a embarrassment the last two weeks in a row. Sorry had to vent, that was just sorry ass football tonight. -

As much as everyone hated Tremaine Edmunds, at least this guy made tackles and big plays on the field... Where is the LB core now.... No Where!! Under sized and under performing players now....This is what we have been reduced too...... -

They deserve to lose this game today. Terrible play calling on both sides of the ball. The coaches don't have a clue on what the hell they are doing or game awareness. This is flat out a coaching debacle today. -

Championship teams don't have a D and Defensive coordinator that are this bad. This D is worse now than Rex Ryan's D were.. Let the flames begin.... -

Wow our D.... Ugh We have had no productive LB play in any game so far this year. Its really like we have no one even playing on the field at the position. Unreal. Tre once again holding like he has fly paper on his hands..... -
We don't need a kicker, lets just hire this guy. Lol🤣 Good bye MR. Bass-O-Matic

McDermott - "Still looking for that other safety"
Toyo321 replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
These two preseason games have looked like the pro's vs the amateur's. Our Safeties, even though it is just preseason, have been horrible. Late to the ball, can't cover, no speed. Can't believe they allow this type of game play on the practice field or in a preseason game. There is not a single positive take away from our Safeties this preseason when you are getting beat down by the other team the way we have been so far. Yes we don't want people hurt but wow has this been ugly football, if you are a DB.. or safety. We need to find a stud back there at safety, IMO Bishop and Hamlin are 2nd string all day long. Never liked either as a option to be a potential starter. -
Lets hear what you have to say!! Sorry I just enabled replies to the thread...forgot to select that feature.

Agreed, the biggest factor has been our D in the playoff's. By this I mean it has been missing in action every playoff run year after year. This phantom missing "D" has cost us, and all from a defensive minded head coach in charge of this team. Ughh..... How much more of a leash do you give McD anyway. If he can't put it all together and get us there, then he needs to go.

Run Antonio Run !!!!! On his way to the Border......

To be honest Coleman is not the answer. He will do a little better this year but nothing mind blowing. It all comes down to our D Line again. You have to be able to get the opposing QB on the run and sack him. The Eagles did this to KC. We did not. Our team has failed every year in the playoffs because of this lack of D pressure. No QB pressure when it counts in the playoffs equals losses every time. That is why our receivers are so important. If we cant get the opposing team off the field in a single series of downs. We need wide receivers that can make the clutch catches and make YAC yards. Right now Shakir is the only guy that does this. Coleman has no speed and we signed two more receivers to try and come in and make a difference. Elijah Moore & Joshua Palmer. It goes to show that the faith they have Coleman is not what everyone thinks it is. I hated us signing Coleman but that ship has sailed so long ago. All we can do is hope he puts on his superman cape and pulls some sort of miraculous 2nd season performance out of his butt this year, with this team. We just need to find 3 receivers that when we put them on the field together they wreak havoc on the other team's D and DB's. We have not had that in the JA era.

Yes and no, he is important to the team but is he worth 15 Million, no way.. He is no Sequon Barkley or Jahmyr Gibbs by any means. Barkley is a better running back by every metric. Jahmyr Gibbs is a much more explosive back and runner than James. James I believe is a better run after the catch type of guy but he does not have the power of the other two backs I mentioned. But it comes down how he is used in our offence in which he excels. Honestly I think he can be replaced as well, with any top RB coming out of college today, they are all a dime a dozen, and they all have unreal speed and they all can catch the ball. Is 15 million to much yes, 8 to 10 million maybe. This is my opinion and everyone will have a different take on Cook and how he benefits this team as a player. But he is replaceable.

Tre White Veteran cornerback struggles White gave up a pair of touchdowns on the day - the first to Moore and then another to veteran receiver Curtis Samuel. White matched up with most of the Bills speedsters and had a few reps that didn’t go his way. The veteran was brought in to compete for the starting job opposite Christian Benford. It’s just one practice and not worth overreacting to, but there are legitimate concerns about White’s ability to cover fast receivers at this stage of his career. When he did get beat in limited time with the Los Angeles Rams last season, it was usually down the field and while working against a faster player. https://www.syracuse.com/buffalo-bills/2025/05/buffalo-bills-otas-week-1-observations-new-wr-shines-2-rookies-flash.html I still am having a hard time trying to understand why they brought him back at all. He played terrible in LA and with the Ravens.....After his injury recovery. Its only OTA's and he can't keep up with our WR speed....

This guy is constantly a walking injury report.

Because I don't trust Joey Bosa to be answer to our D-Line problems, we still will have Oliver, Epenesa, Groot, all whom did not get any pressure on Lamar. Last years playoff game Lamar had huge INT's & mistakes and some critically timed dropped footballs by his receivers. Same thing happened in the regular season game against them when they squashed us and Henry had 199 yards running all over us on the ground against this D line. Do you really believe just wash, rinse and repeating the cycle this year is going to be the answer for our D-Line pressure problems? We need new blood and personnel combinations on this D-line this year so hopefully our draft picks and new free agents can make a difference this year.
