  1. Regardless of his injury and team status, he is prime to be cut due to cap space.
  2. Which Buffalo Bills could become or will become cap casualties? Running back Nyheim Hines tops this list because it costs the Bills zero in dead cap money to cut him. He still has two years left on the extension he signed with the Colts which Buffalo inherited after acquiring him in a trade for Zack Moss. He is scheduled to count $4.8 million this year and $5.4 million in 2024, and there’s no way the Bills are not going to axe him now after his injury. He is as good as gone now even after being listed on IR
  3. The Buffalo Bills started the 2023 NFL offseason $17.7 million over the adjusted salary cap of $227.7 million. The first thing Bills’ general manager Brandon Beane did was restructure the contracts of both Josh Allen and Von Miller to open up around $32 million in cap space. Beane then followed that up by restructuring or extending the following to open up more money for the Bills to spend: LB Matt Milano’s extension, opening up $6 million in cap space DT Tim Settle restructures, opening up $600,000 in cap space RB Nyheim Hines restructures, opening up $1.3 million in cap space WR Stefon Diggs restructures, opening up $5.4 million in cap space The Bills went on to sign guard Connor McGovern, wide receiver Deonte Harty, wide receiver Trent Sherfield, quarterback Kyle Allen, and running back Damien Harris. They were even able to retain their own in Jordan Poyer and Dane Jackson amongst others (David Quessenberry, Ike Boettger, Cam Lewis, Tyrel Dodson, Sam Martin, Tyler Matakevich). According to Over the Cap, Buffalo currently has around $10.2 million in cap space to work with. Here are some moves that the Bills can make to free up even more money. Restructuring offensive tackle Dion Dawkins could open $6.4 million in cap space Extending defensive tackle DaQuan Jones could open up a potential $4.7 million in cap space Restructuring cornerback Tre White could open up $5.9 million in cap space Restructuring center Mitch Morse could open up $3.4 million in cap space Extending cornerback Taron Johnson could open up a potential $4.7 million in cap space Restructuring safety Micah Hyde could open up $4.3 million in cap space Beane might not do any of these, and that is the most likely outcome. But, if Beane wants to make a move for a DeAndre Hopkins or Odell Beckham Jr., he does have some options in opening up more cap space in an offseason that he has crushed so far. A lot of this info was from Over the Cap and slightly outdated because of the references to Hopkins and Odell in their cap analysis summary.
  4. You are going to see it alot this year where Poyer and Hyde get torched because the can't match the opponents speed. Poyer in camp has look extremely slow and Hyde not much better. They are going to have to rely on superior position to make plays because their speed is drastically worse from what I have seen in training camp, this even showed against Pit in the 2nd preseason game. Poyer got smoked by Pitt's RB for the TD run to the house.
  5. The team shuts up ESPN's Mike Greenberg once and for all when they spank the NY Jets on Monday night and Rodgers is forced out of the game after Milano hits him so hard, AR gags on his mouth guard and is forced out of the game with cracked ribs. Then the gang green world is forced into panic & retreat because they just lost the savior for 2023.
  6. Here you go for your freakin lawn!!!
  7. This is the year, 30 years later. 1993 the last season Buffalo reached the SB. This is either a omen or a maybe a sign of fate about this year. Maybe this can be the year all the stars align and nothing bad happens to any key players that we return to the promised land. Go Bills !!! Wow hard to believe that 30 years have gone by since then....🏈🏆
  8. Thank is why I criticize Beane, let's get a square peg and try and plug it in a round hole! His drafting practices and scouts are terrible and miss the mark most of the time in every draft. No draft pick is 100% guaranteed they are going to be a home run pick. But..... We seldom get any drafted players that turn into NFL all pro's with their picks. and we have had 7 years of their drafting history as a sample size. We only got Tre, Josh and Edmunds, Milano, & Bass, IMO that are All Pro's. And now Edmunds is gone. Dawkins, Knox, Oliver and multiple and DL & DB players are good but they are not elite. Everyone else they have drafted that we still have on this team is serviceable for us as a team. We have been both lucky and unlucky with some of these other picks being able to play for this team and actually produce positive results on the field. But their drafting acumen has been questionable at best. 7 Years and counting and no AFCCG wins resulting in our first SB appearance since 1993, speaks to Beane & McD's drafting ability & their failure to date getting us to that next level.
  9. I can see that record as possible. I really think you are going to see our defensive run all over this year. Milano is the only talent back there that I am 100% confident with, and playing at a elite level. Every other LB we have is a huge ??? Klein, Dodson and Bernard, Williams. Who knows what it is going to look like in the middle of the field this year. All I know I see us taking a step back and even though Power & Hyde are back I don't know how well they are going to play. The speed at WR on the Jet's, Miami and other teams we have on our schedule are going to be a problem for Poyer and Hyde. They looked extremely slow in training camp and I just don't know what we will see from them on the field this year.
  10. The cap next year is going to force some changes too. I would not be surprised to see a few shocking cuts or trades to get the team back under the cap. They are listed at -$41 Million for next year. That is a lot of money to trim off the books.
  11. After seeing the video of him in practice the other day going through the motions, I do not have confidence he is starting. That effort he was putting forth did not look like a player ready to start in 2 weeks for Game 1 against the jets.
  12. Tua is always one hit away from ending his NFL career. That is a fatal flaw with that team, so I can't possibly give them the edge over our team.
  13. Sorry Taylor Swift is even worse. Swifties, good grief..........
  14. Von looks a little tentative going through the motions.
  15. He is a huge guy with big hands you would think he could hold on to the damn pigskin better.
  16. We are at -41 million already for next year. Not good, that is why they need to pull a LA Rams this year and get a STUD RB and what ever LB some way, somehow, this year before the pieces to the puzzle all come apart for this team. Von Miller's Contract killed this team.
  17. Package up Epenesa, Cook and Murray and dangle it in front of the Colts and get this Guy on this team. We get him on this team and there is no stopping this team all the way to a SB.
  18. I don't see Bruce ever having his record beaten by another Bills DE. Unless they sign a TJ WATT 2.0 type player in next years draft.
  19. Our cap outlook next year is even worse.
  20. Officiating is going to be a big deal. Elam and Tre were grabbing every opposing players jersey, arms, waist and whatever they could get their hands on last year. They were getting numerous PI calls doing this last year too, I don't see this changing this year. These two guys need to step it up another level this year if not then they sure a hell are trade candidates for 2024.
  21. I think he can do this if he is smarter with the ball in the red-zone, last year he made some really bad throws that were picked off and should have been check down throws instead. This also goes back to what Dorsey does this year to help with this problem by utilizing the backs and TE's more https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xcJTPRjTldo
  22. This really seems to be a key missing part of the offense compared to all other AFC heavyweight contenders. Do you truly trust Dorsey to game plan for Cook, Harris, Knox & Kincaid this year? It always seemed like our RB's and TE's were always the last check down options for Josh last year. I feel this will be important to utilize these guys to their potential this year.
  23. The fact is that our OL is still a mess, we are losing OL linemen even before the season starts. You can only pull so many rabbits out of the hat to fix your OL and now the depth chart is already in decline, And Beane is signing USFL players for potential roster spot depth. What does that tell you, enough said
  24. No it is the fact that this team constantly makes bone headed mistakes, with coaching, team preparedness, and game planning when it matters most. Also the fact that the Jets got a lot better when we did not. That's not being a homer that's being brutally honest. Maybe that's something you should consider and spare us your short sightedness. Wait until you see what Dalvin Cook does for this jets team on Monday night. We had home field against Cincinnati last year in the playoffs and everything to play for and this team had no game plan, desire or intensity, and was one of the worst performances I have watched in quite some time for a team that always wanted home field advantage in the playoffs. This is all on the coaching and the GM. Dude get real.....
