I wonder why the Bills don't run the counter gap a few times a game (Thurman's old speciality in the 90s). It's perfect for mobile linemen and gives the running back a view of where the holes are. Singletary and especially Moss don't recognize the cutback lane quickly, this could help. And with Morse, Dawkins and Brown on the move, good things happen.

Go Bills!

No question that Mahomes is the most exciting QB I’ve watched other than Josh, the last five to seven years. Just an incredible skill player who has the winner’s mindset, just like Josh. Before we got good enough to challenge KC I even rooted for him, like in that crazy 54-51 game against the Rams.

Bills or NFL Expat bar in Hanoi, Vietnam

I too love International GamePass. It’s killer. -
I looked up “Buffalo” Bill Cody’s Wikipedia page. Fascinating. His father was basically killed for being a vocally anti-slavery in Kansas, and Cody himself was a supporter of women’s rights and respect for Native Americans, who he said never killed or attacked anyone unless a treaty was broken. He was also possibly the world’s most famous man in his heyday, and founded the town of Cody, Wyoming. Quite a person! PS I Have a feeling Buffalo’s going to the Super Bowl

You gotta love Josh. For those who didn't watch, Brandt asked him about the Steelers game and the Chiefs game and Josh was excited about: 1) Dorsey calling the shot play that led to Gabe's 98 yard TD (most coordinators, he says, would rarely call that from your own 2). 2) Kahlil Shakir and James Cook's first TDs, and Kaiir Elam's first INT. Said it was special to be part of that for them. 3) Making fun of Shakir for forgetting to grab his first TD ball, and saying he was tracking it for Cook too, but Cook remembered. 4) Chiefs game is, believe it or not, just another game. What happened last year has no bearing on it. 5) Pat Mahomes and Travis Kelce are great players and great people, and he's become friends with both. 6) Winning football games has a lot to do with having love for each other as a team, he mentioned this multiple times. 7) Arrowhead is the loudest stadium (I've been hearing that since '91), but Bills Mafia still takes the cake for best fan base. 8 ) It's surreal that some consider him and Pat the Brady vs. Manning of this era. He's just trying to live his dream. Something cool about Josh Allen is that he somehow finds the little things to appreciate, and be amused by, even though the things he does are being watched by millions, and he doesn't get lost in all the hype, at all. You get the feeling he would be having just as much fun trying to excel in anything he tried, in or out of the spotlight. You gotta love Josh!

And Josh just threw for the second most yards ever by a Bills QB, while sitting most of the fourth. Think about how many games, how many QBs. He’s operating at a wild, unprecedented level.

400 yards and 31 points in a half where two drives ended with a lost fumble on the goal line and a blocked field goal. Crazy level of play.

I really like McKenzie and root for him, but it's always scary when he gets the ball. The constant muffs, and he's not a big target. Shakir is on a different level. Sure hands, sees the game better, better running after the catch. I think a starting three of Diggs, Davis and Shakir is our best option.

KANSAS CITY WE ARE COMING
-
Thass my QB.
-
COOK!!!! Finally, a cutback!
-
We got enough injuries. Pull the starters for the 4th Q.
-
So far we aren’t seeing a huge drop off without Knox, McKenzie or Edmunds.
-
No offense to McKenzie but Shakir might have his job pretty soon. Better hands and more dependable, creates more after getting the ball, better instincts.
-
You gotta love Shakir Moss has a fatal lack of football sense which is what Shakir has in spades

Is it me or is this game crazy?

In 88, I was a kid who waited an hour in line at Hills for Bruce Smith’s autograph. (Funny how many of us did this.) When I was three people away, they announced it was over and he got up to leave. I followed him to the parking lot, this was about 7pm and it was dark, and as he was getting into his car I yelled out like a moron, “Bruce, I hope you sack Marino on Sunday!” (We we’re playing the Phins.) He smiled, shrugged, and said “Thanks, kid.” A couple years ago I got to have dinner with Thurman and he was super cool. Also paid for an expensive dinner for all five people, cracked jokes, and even talked about old games a little. You could see he loves the current team and roots hard for them. Just an awesome, warm dude. I had to connect it in my mind that this friendly and kind person was the same human did all those things I watched growing up.

Honestly? Buffalo 39, Pittsburgh 9. We roll. Running game gets back on track. Josh efficient. Diggs and Shakir produce in the absence of anyone else! Von gets 3 sacks.
