  1. Wondering who is gonna sit on offense for Duke to be active. Maybe the game plan going to be super run-heavy and max protect passing, so they need 3 RBs? In which case maybe Shakir sits? Or McKenzie?
  2. Longest seven days between games I can remember! Elbow-gate 2022. LET'S GO BUFFALO!!!!!
  3. I miss Buffalo pizza especially Bocce Club and La Nova. We used to have fish fry on Friday’s growing up (80s) and I can’t remember the name of a single place! I do love a good fish fry though. Would love to try a place my next trip home.
  4. The Vikings are nowhere near as good as their record. They barely beat Miami who were starting Skylar Thompson! Even with Jefferson, Thielen and Cook, the Vikings have scored less points than ANY team in the AFC East. I think the Bills are gonna come together and expose them, either with Josh or for Josh.
  5. @BillsFanInRaleigh I love this topic. The only thing that has been able to get my mind off Ulnar ligaments. Gotta second the Mr. Sizzles rec. The Butter Burger and the chicken sandwiches there are just awesome. Swan Street Diner is great for pancakes, burgers, eggs, etc. A real sweet spot, a legit old train car diner. We grew up on extra crispy hot wings from Duff's on Sheridan. Still love them there. Gabriel's Gate wings are as good or better, and love their vibe. And love the suicidal sauce wings at Anchor Bar, the original. Black pepper! Duende, the waterside bar down in Silo City is an amazing place to hang, especially when they have live music and an outdoor fire. Try their special aged rum, forgot it's name but it's great stuff. Buffalo is FULL of cool places to eat and drink. PS if you're into live music, from punk to hip hop, hit up Nietzsche's. The real deal.
  6. I will say, the Bills definitely scared other teams this season with juggernaut vibes after the first 3 games, for sure. The last game, the way we lost and with The Josh being hurt, has dented that fear. I truly believe Buffalo will unite and focus to keep the wins going without Josh. They can beat Minny and Cleveland with Keenum. Then Josh could come back on Turkey Day and put together a national TV demolition of the Lions in his first game back, to remind everyone why they were so scared of the Bills.
  7. You have to win a Super Bowl to have that mystique.
  8. They never did this right? After Kyle tweeted “looking to Wednesday” and busy schedules and being in Europe?
  9. The Bills would be 8-0 except for two short yardage failures against the Fins and Jets. They need to be able to convert 1 yard runs 80% pf the time. If the lineman and running backs Buffalo has can't make that happen, then they need other guys.
  10. How does it work for the other cities in Ohio--do people in Columbus, or Toledo, root for the Browns or Bengals?
  11. Thanks!! All are healthy and perfect Now we need to win her life's first Bills game!
  12. GAME DAY! Feels like we've been away for months! Of course, since last game, we had a baby daughter. So the Chiefs game feels a long time ago (but not much sleep) to me So ready to get this thing started! Game time is 1:30am here in Central Europe, gonna pull the all nighter, change a few diapers too. LET'S GO BUFFALO!
  13. I love a full English at a "caff." GO BILLS!
  14. Karma is a b-word, right Tommy?
  15. "Thermos Thomas? I kinda like it." Love these guys, from admin to Therm. LOL. Kumerow catching a TD would drive Rodgers even crazier
  16. His "nice job" type comments to Lamar after the game just oozed with "I'm doing this so no one can say I'm a bad sport but I do not mean this in the slightest"
  17. Maybe this makes me a jerk, but honestly I'm really enjoying watching him play like crap and lose!
  18. Brady's off-the-field issues this year track so perfectly with his on-field cheating and attitude of "winning is more important than decency or character"...
  19. Brady is a miserable dude. He has had more accomplishments than anyone in history but he just can't appreciate it. It's karma, Tommy. The stats make his performance look way better than it was, too. The Ravens dropped 3 INTs, and the Bucs scored a garbage time touchdown after about 20 Brady checkdowns.
  20. If we do get him, I just hope it doesn't mess with our chemistry.
  21. As awesome as we were in the Super Bowl years, we were NEVER widely considered the best team in the NFL, the way we are right now. Back then the AFC had a long losing streak in the Super Bowl and the NFC was considered the heavyweight conference. I am LOVING this experience of being number one in most every power ranking and just being considered the elite of the elite (with KC). We NEVER had that before. However, I think back then people were just even more obsessed with football especially in Buffalo, or maybe that was just me. PS Kelly wasn't considered the best QB, either, though he was in the top tier with Marina, Montana, Elway, etc. PPS Thurman was clearly the best dual threat (and won MVP in 91, of course), but a lot of people considered Emmitt Smith or Barry Sanders the best pure running back.
  22. 15-1 juggernauts have lost in the conference championship. Heck, the year we lost our first Super Bowl, the 49ers were 14-2, two-time defending champs, and they lost to the Giants in the title game. If we play the Chiefs in the AFC title game, I say we win it 7 times out of 10, if we play the Bengals I estimate we win 8 times out of 10. 20-30% is still a big possibility not to go to the Super Bowl--and that's assuming we are in the title game.
  23. You don't think it's a little early for this?
  24. Tackling and being driven backwards and laterally by force by other players makes football much more stressful on the knee joints than soccer. So the soccer timelines don't apply, IMO. I also think it's very wise not to push Tre to return as soon as possible when there is no pressing need for it. Even if he returns after another 4 weeks on IR, he will have 6 regular season games to shake off the rust before the playoffs. Plenty of time.
  25. Early in his career, Elway ran too. I was at the Bills-Eagles game, sitting in the end zone where Randall Cunningham, with eyes in the back of his head, ducked Bruce's sure safety and threw a 95 yard touchdown. Cunningham was awesome. He's still a top 10 all-time *rusher* for the Eagles. And he should have had a Super Bowl in Randy Moss' rookie year, when the Vikings went 15-1. They scored 556 points in 16 games! Still I'd say Steve Young was the one who combined running and passing the best in regular season and playoffs, before Allen and Mahomes.
